Tafsir
Allah (swt) narrates these unseen events as they are now, so that people may learn lessons from these events, take lessons from them, strengthen their morals with faith in Allah and the Hereafter, and attain Allah's pleasure. As there are many signs in all the Verses, this Surah is also full of signs.
Allah swears by His own Self and says, 'Surely she has inclined to him. There is not a particle in the universe that Allah is not aware of it. For Allah is the All-Seeing and All-Knowing. In this respect, He swears by His Essence that the woman was inclined towards Hadrat Yusuf (may Allah be pleased with him). Allah (swt) testifies to this.
Allah, who created the souls of all living creatures the same, created human beings in pairs because of the lust found in the human soul. In this respect, human beings complement each other because they need each other as men and women. It is for this reason that Allah (swt) knows the traits He has created so well that He tells people about them. As long as people act with their nafs, they are inclined to evil. However, the person in front of him is a Prophet and Allah (swt) has proofs on him. These evidences are the revelation of the trap that would be set for him by his brothers at a young age, the giving of knowledge and wisdom to him, and the ability to judge good and evil with the wahdat of Allah, which brought Hazrat Yusuf 'alaihis-salâm' to his senses. By Allah's grace, He protected him from the evil of prostitution. If Hadrat Yusuf 'alaihis-salâm' had not possessed these abilities and knowledge, he would not have been able to restrain himself against the intolerable lustful feelings of the impure soul and would surely have committed evil deeds.
Hadrat Yusuf 'alaihis-salâm' was one of the sincere and righteous servants who feared and feared Allah and surrendered himself to Allah with the knowledge and talents that Allah had given him.
What is said in the video
will tell us. Yes.
Indeed, the woman inclined toward him. Had he not seen his Lord's warning by a sign, he too would have inclined toward her. His warning and sign: that Allah Almighty (?) raised Joseph (peace be upon him), and in his heart His ardent love (?) placed. Thus We showed Our proof, to turn evil and indecency away from him. Allah Almighty — His proof. What is it? That He raised him. That He (?) him, that He manifested Himself to him. That He took him back to the past, back to his childhood, that He showed him that dream, reminded him of it, and all at once, this, within passing seconds, as if in a state preferred over the times, appears to the person.
And Allah Almighty, in the face of all these proofs, draws him to Himself by the proof of His Being.
Thus We showed Our proof, to turn evil and indecency away from him. Surely he was one of Our sincere servants, and he held fast to those proofs, did not follow his nafs, and took his place in Allah's ranks.
Allah Almighty tells these (?) events as if they were happening now, so that people take lessons from these events, draw warnings from them, and with faith in Allah and the Hereafter strengthen their morals and attain Allah's pleasure. And what does it say at the very beginning? At the beginning of Surah Yusuf it says this is a story with a lesson. Yes.
Just as there are many lessons in all the verses, this surah too, from top to bottom, is full of lessons, it says. Allah Almighty, swearing by His Being — yes.
There's a letter there, let's delete it. Swearing by His Being, He says: Indeed, the woman inclined toward him. That is, she had now dared everything.
As we said, if a person is going to fall into kufr, he turns his back on Allah. Allah's — that faith in his heart, in his own heart, no longer benefits him. If he is going to fall into kufr. There is not an atom in the universe that Allah is not aware of. For Allah is the One who truly sees and knows. Therefore, swearing by His Being, He makes known that the woman herself was the one who inclined toward Joseph (peace be upon him). And Allah Almighty bears witness to this. Yes. Allah Almighty here bears witness to this. Allah, who created the nafs of all living creatures alike, because of the desire found in the human nafs as well, has created people in pairs.
And He gave that desire for that purpose. The reason: among people, the woman will complete the man and the man the woman, and in this way a factory will be set up. A human factory will be set up, and in a realm of the unseen, that is, a realm where His Being is not seen, people will come into the world, and this factory, with the souls created earlier in the realm of Lahut being raised to the Barzakh, will (?) the souls coming from the Barzakh and raise them in the world; and in those people, in return for the covenant they gave Allah Almighty, people living their own destiny will prove to themselves what kind of people they are.
What a beautiful (?). And what a beautiful creation. Yes.
Allah Almighty, swearing by His Being, says: Indeed, the woman inclined toward him. There is not an atom in the universe that Allah is not aware of. For Allah is the One who truly sees and knows. Therefore, swearing by His Being, He makes known that the woman herself was the one who inclined toward Joseph (peace be upon him). And Allah Almighty is called as witness to this. Allah, who created the nafs of all living creatures alike, because of the desire found in the human nafs as well, has created people in pairs. Therefore, since people, as woman and man, need one another, people complete one another.
That is why Allah Almighty, knowing very well the (?) He created, tells people about it. And that is why Allah Almighty, knowing very well the (?) He created, tells people about it. As long as people act on the feelings of the nafs, they incline toward evil. However, the person before us is a prophet, and Allah Almighty's proofs are upon him. These proofs — that at a young age the trap his brothers would set for him was made known to him by revelation, that knowledge and wisdom were given to him, that, with Allah's oneness, the ability to judge good and evil was given to him — brought Joseph (peace be upon him) to his senses.
With Allah's (?), from an evil like indecency, from that ill, He protected Joseph (peace be upon him).
Had Joseph (peace be upon him) not had these abilities and knowledge, then, before the unbearable lustful feelings of a nafs that is not perfected, he could not have restrained himself, and would surely have done (?) evil. So Joseph (peace be upon him), with the knowledge and abilities Allah gave him, feared Allah and held back; he had surrendered himself to Allah and was one of His sincere and plain servants.
Yes, our son Ömer has a question. We end our lesson here. To (?) our daughter we say: our lesson is on page 1433, volume 3, at verse 25 of Surah Yusuf, that's where it stopped. Yes.
