At-Tawbah 12: If they break their covenants and attack your religion after they have made an agreement, kill the leaders of disbelief. They are the ones who do not have any covenants. (And thus, fight them,) so that they (the ones who will turn to belief) will abandon their disbelief.

Translation

If they break their covenants and attack your religion after they have made an agreement, kill the leaders of disbelief. They are the ones who do not have any covenants. (And thus, fight them,) so that they (the ones who will turn to belief) will abandon their disbelief.

Tafsir

If, after the treaties, the pioneers of disbelief break their oaths and attack Islam, by fighting against the pioneers of disbelief, capturing and neutralizing them, the oppression they have committed against the oppressed people will be eliminated. At the same time, since these pioneers of disbelief are dragging the people of their own nation and tribe into oppression, it is Allah's command on people to neutralize the pioneers of disbelief who are the heads of oppression, to eliminate the discord and corruption they have spread, and to give life to people with Allah's justice.

Because these leaders of disbelief are enemies of Allah and His Messenger, they are also enemies of those who stand with Allah and His Messenger and who have embraced the religion of Islam. Therefore, neither their words, nor their covenants, nor their oaths against Islam are valid. Because these are people who do not understand promises and do not recognize oaths and covenants.

When such people are neutralized, when the pioneers of disbelief are eliminated, then the people among them who will become Muslims will put an end to disbelief. Those who take lessons from the events that took place, stop persecuting oppressed people and slaughtering lives unjustly, abandon disbelief and embrace Islam.

Today, the people of disbelief are practicing the meaning of this verse. By eliminating those who are living Islam and those who would be its leaders, they are spreading disbelief and driving away people who would follow Allah and His Messenger away from Allah. In this respect, people are becoming restless and depressed. Future times, in this case, are embracing the darkness.

What is said in the video

We have come to Surah At-Tawbah, verse 12.

If after their treaties they break their oaths and attack your religion, then against the leaders of kufr fight. Against the leaders of kufr, it says. For they are men who have no oaths. If you fight against them, it is hoped they will put an end to kufr, it says. Look, as if Allah didn't know. It is hoped they will put an end to kufr. Whereas it is: until they put an end to kufr. That is, those among them who will return to Islam, so that, you know, He knows, Allah Almighty. Because He gave them their destinies. He wrote it according to their wishes and desires. Until they, to Islam, put an end to kufr, it says.

Until they put an end to kufr.

Yes. And those who won't end kufr: between "it is hoped" and "until", wouldn't there be a difference then? I mean, doesn't it come to the same meaning too? "Until": those among them, it doesn't. Why? "Until." That is, they will return or they won't return. It carries both meanings. But "it is hoped" ascribes an attribute to Allah. As if Allah didn't know. "Until": if there are those who will return, they will; if they won't return, they won't return anyway. He says it for those who will end kufr anyway. Until they put an end to kufr. That is, those within, those who will return. Yes. Should the forerunners of kufr break their oaths after the treaties and set out to attack Islam, by fighting the forerunners of kufr, seizing them and rendering them harmless, the oppression they inflicted on oppressed people is removed.

For example, what the Prophet did: certain leaders or commanders who were enemies of Islam, that is, the leader at the head of that people, he would say this: Who will bring me his head? One of the Companions would stand up there. "O Messenger of Allah, give the task to me," he would say. He would give them the task and send them. And they would clean him up and come back. The leadership of kufr would be finished. The leadership of kufr would be gone. Yes. At the same time, since these forerunners of kufr, the people of their own nation and tribe too, (?), the forerunners of kufr, the head of oppression, are neutralized, and, removing the hypocrisy and corruption they spread around, with Allah's justice giving life to people is Allah's command over people.

Just as Syria today destroys its own people, in history Italy's commander Nero, cruel Nero, why is he called cruel Nero? (?) he burned Italy, and while dying, while croaking, he says this: Italy is losing a very great commander. cruel Nero, a disbeliever, a non-Muslim. So how is Assad any different from him? perhaps crueler than that cruel one, appearing Muslim and shedding Muslim blood, mercilessly killing his own nation, never sated with Muslim blood; his father too, who in the '60s killed 60,000 people in Hama, in Homs, who killed Muslims, a tyrant.

Yes. Chasing ideology, a person thirsting for his own nation's blood.

Calling these people human doesn't suit my tongue, I don't know. It doesn't suit my tongue. Because a human has a conscience.

That conscience is the feelings of mercy that the light called Allah's light of faith gives a person. If a person has no feeling of mercy, that person is the most astray creature on earth. Allah Almighty says so: they are like the four-legged ones roaming the earth, even more astray in their going, He says, more astray in their going. Not even any animal destroys its own kind. Yes, in this case are place and rank, position, so precious? In Allah's sight, this life of yours, this life, although my Lord gave it, more than Allah's command is this life of yours more precious? This life of mine is not more precious than Allah's command.

Why not? After all, I'll taste death here and go before Allah. There, if I've fulfilled my Lord's command, I've attained salvation. If I haven't fulfilled my Lord's command, however precious my life may be here, there I'll be left subject to eternal punishment. And hey, heedless one, ignorant one, though you know your Lord, what have you gone after? You're destroying your nation. You left no stone upon stone. You finished off your homeland. You tyrant, you did even worse than what he did. At least he burned one town. You burned the whole country. Yes.

What a fine thing Allah Almighty says with His verses. He makes everything known.

Because these people, the leaders of kufr, due to their treachery to Allah and His Messenger, toward those who stand with Allah and His Messenger, honored with the religion of Islam, are also enemies. Isn't that so?

We see the sell-outs with our own eyes today,

those who shed Muslim blood for their own ideologies. Appearing Muslim, exploiting the Muslim conscience, the treacheries they commit against them.

Yes.

Because these are people who don't understand words, who recognize no oath or covenant.

They are enemies. Therefore neither their words toward Islam, nor their treaties, nor their oaths are valid. Because these are people who don't understand words, who recognize no oath or covenant. When such people are neutralized, when the forerunners of kufr are removed, so that the people who come after them put an end to kufr.

Those who (?) take a lesson from them and, giving up subjecting oppressed people to oppression, killing them unjustly, they put an end to their kufr. Yes.

There's a missing word here. Let's correct it. "today, this verse's translation is being applied by the people of kufr," we said; 8 years ago we wrote, 9 years ago we wrote these, even 10 years ago. Those who live Islam and those who would be their leaders they remove, spreading kufr around, and the people who would follow Allah and His Messenger they turn away from Allah. Therefore people are being dragged into unrest and depression. As for the coming times, dark for people and with arms open to darkness, they are unfolding. For future generations. Yes.
