(Pharaoh) said, “bring it if you are among the truthful ones.”
Tafsir
Pharaoh, because he was pretending to be a god and loved such magic, believed that Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' would also show magic and wanted to see the magic he would show. So if you are a man of your word, bring us what you have to show us.
What is said in the video
Surah Ash-Shu'ara, verse 31: Pharaoh – If you are one of those who speak the truth, then bring it, he replied. That is, what are you going to show me? What are you? Didn't you grow up beside me? Meaning, don't I know you?
And didn't you commit that crime? Didn't you kill a man? He looks down on him.
Since Pharaoh claimed to be a god and so loved such magical things, believing that Moses (peace be upon him) too would show magic, he wants to see the magic he would show. So he says: If you are a man of your word, come, bring what you will show us. Yes.
