Translation

“And (We deprived them of) their treasures and their high status.”

Tafsir

Pharaoh and his followers denied Allah. Allah (swt) also informs us that Pharaoh and his followers will be deprived of many of their treasures when Pharaoh declares himself a god.

He also says, "We deprived him of a valuable position", which means three things. In the first sense, being the head of a state in the world and governing that state or tribe is a great position.

In the second sense, to be deprived of their wealth.

In the third sense, it is also a sign that they will incur the wrath of Allah and will be deprived of the most valuable positions of Paradise in the Hereafter. Moreover, the fact that they are deprived of these positions shows that those who suffer this wrath are perpetual inhabitants of Hell.

What is said in the video

And We deprived them of treasures and an honorable station. That is, Surah Ash-Shu'ara, verse 58. Let us explain this part too, and then we will close our lesson.

Pharaoh and his gang denied Allah. With Pharaoh declaring himself a god, that Pharaoh and his gang would be deprived of the many treasures they owned, Allah Almighty also informs us. Moreover, His saying "we were deprived of an honorable station", saying "We deprived", has three meanings. In the first, in the first meaning: in this world, being at the head of a state and governing that state or tribe is a great station. In the second meaning, being deprived of the wealth they had. And in the third meaning, it is also a sign that, by incurring Allah's wrath, they were deprived of the very precious stations of Paradise in the hereafter.

Moreover, their being deprived of these stations also shows that those who incur this wrath are permanently people of Hell.
