They desire to put out Allah’s noor (divine light) with their mouths. However, Allah will not abandon continuing Allah’s noor despite the infidels detest it.
Tafsir
Allah (swt) has created these worlds within a program. Allah, who knows what will happen in the times to come until the Day of Judgment and what His creatures will do, has created everything from the mote to the sphere under His power and might, and the creatures cannot go beyond Allah's will. Allah (swt) has created these worlds for the knowledge of His Essence. Until the Day of Resurrection, there will be people who will say Allah and Allah will complete His light, even if all the disbelievers do not want it. No force or power will be able to eliminate the religion of Islam until the Day of Judgment. The Holy Qur'an will address people until the Day of Judgment. Humans, on the other hand, will pass away from this world, having made themselves witnesses against Allah by committing acts of their own volition to obey or disobey Allah.
Therefore, those who are non-Muslims, those who want to abolish the religion of Allah, will not succeed. They will only talk with their mouths and waste their time, and they will not be able to save themselves from the fire of Hell, from being deprived of the light of Allah, and from eternal persecution in the Hereafter by their persecution of Islam. These are the people who pity their souls.
What is said in the video
Yes, Surah At-Tawbah, we left off at 1167, 32.
Allah Almighty says in His verse: they want to blow out Allah's light with their mouths and extinguish it. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Yürîdûne en yutfiû nûra'llâhi bi-efvâhihim ve ye'ba'llâhu illâ en yütimme nûrahû ve lev kerihe el-kâfirûn. They want to blow out Allah's light with their mouths and extinguish it. Who? The unbelievers.
Allah Almighty gave man a fine mind. By not using his mind, man is truly pushed into a very ignorant state. And with people's ignorant state into a state far from humanity, ungrateful and abject, they set out to turn them. Why? Because they hold a grudge against Allah. The reason? Because at that address Alastu bi-Rabbikum, these people, since they were expecting the Lord of their own imagination, since Allah Almighty resembled people, since He appeared to people in the form of an essence, people did not recognize the one before them, that one who created them, as the Creator, out of their pride and arrogance, out of that grandeur in themselves.
So Allah Almighty Himself tells us their state so beautifully in veiled verses. They, He says, My Beloved, in their time denied Me too. That is, they denied. Yes. They, out of their grandeur and pride, out of their arrogance, denied Me too, He says. And in the world too, toward Allah Almighty, well, with feelings of grudge and hatred, they expect not Allah who created them but the Allah of their own imagination. What kind of Allah is the Allah of their imagination? Of their own imagination. With (?), (?), He will flatter them, (?), do what they say. They will bargain in every way with their Creator.
And they will make Him do what they say, even using force; they are within such feelings. They are within these feelings. In this case they can never compromise on their own glory and fame, their pride and arrogance, their grandeur. We see before our eyes the states of the non-Muslims. So these, in this state, although until the Day of Judgment this world is programmed, with the blowing of their mouths, that is, while man is powerless over anything, only what he himself speaks, staying with himself: that is the blowing of their mouths. I blow, I blow, well, I have to breathe in again. So with only this blowing of their mouths, as He says, these people who are powerless over anything, with their own tongues, without any proof in their hands, deceiving themselves, they think they will extinguish Allah's light.
Yet what does Allah Almighty say? Even if the unbelievers dislike it, He says. Why does He say unbelievers here, and not even if people dislike it? Because the Muslim knows that Allah's light will be completed and that every soul will taste death and our return will be to Allah, since he knows this, Allah Almighty does not speak a superfluous word. So what does it say? Even if the unbelievers dislike it, Allah will complete His light. Yes. They want to blow out Allah's light, Allah's light, with their mouths and extinguish it. Yet even if the unbelievers dislike it, Allah will never give up completing His light.
Why will He never give up? Let us open this up a little too.
Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty created our spirits. With them, with each one, with each of our spirits, that is, with our own beings, He made a covenant. He raised them to the barzakh. And since all the people who will come to this world until the Day of Judgment He will bring into the world so that they prove what kind of person they are, and since Allah will make His light heard to them and they, through actual deeds, will prove what kind of person they are, Allah has programmed these worlds until the Day of Judgment. So since no one can break that program, and no one can overpower Allah, and since the people after us will also come into the world, live and prove what kind of person they are, therefore Allah Almighty, the Holy Quran He sent, that is, His light, until the Day of Judgment, without any alteration in a single letter of it, nor any distortion, will complete His light until the Day of Judgment, and those people will not be able to say, You did not make it heard to us.
Now, while saying this, when we say Allah will complete His light until the Day of Judgment: well, Hodja, you yourself say there are wrong interpretations in the Quran. In the verses of the Quran there is neither damage nor damage. In its verses. In it too, neither damage nor damage. That is, there is no deficiency at all. They are complete. When interpreting them, people, so that they prove what kind of person they are, interpret within their own ideologies, and interpret the way their own nafs likes. In this case they try to remove some important points. But not in the verse. They do damage in those words blown from the mouths of the people who render the verse.
For example, as we always say, people's willing disappears. Allah Almighty uses His own will over people. In this case He puts whom He wills of people into paradise. And whom He wills into hell. Second, Allah Almighty, with the word 'it is hoped that' He forgives you. 'It is hoped that', well, here, unaware of the future, Allah Almighty will act according to those people's states, and if perhaps they turn out good, Allah too will forgive; like that. Yet there is not a single living being coming until the Day of Judgment of whom we do not know what he will do. That too is contradicting His verse.
Third, people, at Alastu bi-Rabbikum, the covenant there do not know. They tie everything to the world. By the actions they do in the world, so in this case they ascribe attributes to Allah Almighty like this: if the person is good, Allah is good too; if the person is bad, Allah is bad to him too. It is not so. Allah Almighty knows whether that person is good or bad. By what does He know? By what does He know? By His verse. Which verse is this?
Only Allah knows what is in the wombs, He says. Only Allah knows what is in the wombs. That is, at that address Alastu bi-Rabbikum, whether Allah Almighty will put a female into that womb or a male? Allah knows this. Then whether what is in the wombs is wretched or God-fearing, Allah knows. Yes. So in the hadith too, the Prophet says that while a child is still in its mother's blood, whether it is wretched or God-fearing is known. And the noble Companions say: since it is known whether one is wretched or God-fearing, there is no need for us to do anything. If you are wretched you are wretched, if you are God-fearing you are God-fearing, they say.
It is not so, says the Prophet. According to the wishes and desires you have, through your actual deeds you will earn reward and sin, he says. That is, through your actual deeds. So if you are wretched, your wretched states, that is, with your spirit rebellious against Allah Almighty, you will have the wish and desire to act oppressively toward people. You will usurp, well, their rights. You will oppress them. You will wander, well, in drink, gambling, adultery. These are known, of course. And if he is God-fearing, he too, according to his own wishes, will be in (?). He too, in his worship on Allah's path, in goodness and good deeds toward people, let me say, conducting his affairs within his Lord's commands in this way, he too will prove himself in this way. By everyone proving themselves, proving what kind of person they are within their own will, Allah Almighty, on the Day of Judgment, with these, in His attribute of divinity, no one being able to attribute any deficiency to Allah Almighty, and with people left without questions, our Lord, as Eleysallâhu bi-ahkemi'l-hâkimîn, will judge between them.
Yes. So that address Alastu bi-Rabbikum is very important. The covenant made there is very important. So man, while in the world, that covenant is closed to him. Man does not know what kind of covenant he gave. Those places are closed. So when will this be seen?
When will it be seen? Yes. As we always read, let us read here again too.
This time let us read from the book. Let us read from the Holy Quran. Surah Al-Waqi'ah 533. in the surah, on page 533 there is Surah Al-Waqi'ah.
Verse 83, of the Holy Quran, on page 536. Since the beginning of Surah Al-Waqi'ah is on 533 and it continues, on page 536. Look what it says now, 86. surah. eighty-six, eighty- six, eighty-three, eighty-four. Well, the eighty-third surah. Eighty-three, eighty-six verse. The eighty-third verse. Eighty-one, eighty-two. Yes. Felevlâ izâ beleğati'l-hulkûm. Felevlâ izâ beleğati'l-hulkûm. What does it say? Now, when the soul reaches the throat, it says. Ve entüm hînezin tenzurûn. At that time you just stand there looking, it says. Who? Those around him, or that person stands there looking. Ve nahnu akrabu ileyhi minküm ve lâkin lâ tubsirûn.
What does it say? At that moment We are closer to him than you, but you do not see.
Felevlâ in küntüm gayra medînîn. At that moment We to him, to you, anyway; since you supposedly will not be punished, since you supposedly will not be punished, well, since you supposedly will not be punished, terci'ûnehâ in küntüm sâdıkîn. What does it say? Bring it back, the soul, if you are truthful in your claim, it says. Bring that soul back, if you are truthful in your claim.
Yes. In verse 89, that for him there is rest, good provision and the garden of bliss. If he is of the truthful: O truthful one, peace be upon you, it says. But if he is of the lying, denying, astray ones, then for him too there is a feast of boiling water. And his end is to be thrown into hell. Surely this is the certain truth. So glorify the name of your great Lord. Say Fesebbih bismi Rabbike'l-azîm. Glorify your Lord's great name. Yes. Now, at that moment, those worlds are shown to him. The moment they are shown, the door of repentance is now closed. In another verse too he says: send me back to the world once more.
Look how I will worship You. Even if We sent you back not once but several more times, you would do the same thing again, declares Allah Almighty. In this case, in this case, we say: O man, you have attained the attribute of being human. With a part from your Lord, you have been created honored above the worlds. Do not be ungrateful to your Creator and turn your back on Him. In the end, with no power or proof in your hand, when you are alone in the presence of Allah Almighty at the supreme court, if they gather a world full of wealth and as much again as ransom, at a moment when you cannot be saved, the punishment of an eternal, endless life, how will you endure it?
While the chance is at hand in the world, (?), we do not know, it seems.
But although we know for certain that we have a Lord who created us, if we turn to Him and say Allah just once, our Lord takes us under His mercy. In this case we will have developed both our world and our hereafter.
And we will have become an obedient servant to Allah. We will have become a faithful servant. And we will step outside those who extinguish Allah's light. We become a good servant to Allah. That is why there is no treasure in a person's house as great as the opportunity of life in this world. No treasure. As great as the opportunity of life. However much you work, even if you gain the world, for those works of yours in the world you will also be called to account. That is, for that wealth and property of yours you will also be called to account. According to this hadith.
My ummah will be divided into three parts, he says. Into three parts. The first gathers without regard to halal or haram; for him there is a painful punishment, he says. A painful punishment. The second gathers from the halal; there is a fine reckoning. That is, if you slept full and your neighbor slept hungry, there is a reckoning on you for that. If, while you had money, someone asked you for a loan and you did not give it, there is a reckoning on you.
And the third, he says, even if he has nothing to eat from evening to morning, says er-rızku ala'llah, trusts in Allah. For him, he says, there is a fine hereafter, he says. Yes, a servant who has submitted to Allah. In this case, if a person turns to his Lord within the treasure of life, since in the world he will leave behind all he worked for in the world and go, saying Allah just once here, the word Allah is written in your record. And since it fits Allah's purpose of creation, since you know Him and are obedient to Him, Allah Almighty on the Day of Judgment will be your guardian, your advocate.
And there you get off the hook. So worldly wealth is not carried there. Rather, saying Allah once in your life is enough for you. That is carried there. And for that worldly wealth you are also put to questioning. That is why the greatest treasure is human life, and within this human life, as a servant of Allah, to worship Him. Your Lord does not say worship Me always, night and day. Because people have work during the day, they get tired with hardship, they have to feed their family and children. Well, what does the Prophet (peace be upon him) say? One who provides for his family in the best way is like one who has done a fine act of worship, he says.
Yes. One who is Muslim and provides for his family in the best way, that is, here, in the best way, who raises his children in the religion of Islam and does not leave their eyes wanting; for poverty, the poor came close, came close, he says, came close to kufr. In this case, people showing themselves as rich, stripping stark naked, supposedly escaping from that poverty themselves, and, whatever mentality they have been caught up in, as wealthy, stripping naked, showing themselves as wealthy, or showing themselves as modern, these are in a state where (?) has come close. Imagine: which rich person, easily, but which rich person who knows himself strips stark naked? Walks around in the streets like that, not knowing himself?
People who do not know themselves envy those traits as fashion and go that way on those roads.
You will say to me, Hodja, they too, in high society, in discos, in bars and so on, you understand? Or in gatherings, in such places, they do evil. Now pay attention. If one does it in a closed place, in a closed place, and another openly before the public, in an open place. Now I ask, which is worse? Both are bad, but within the badness, which is worse? One does the evil in a closed place among themselves. The other sends it openly to the public. Doing it by exhibiting themselves, drawing people to evil. Yes. That is why people who do not know themselves think that in this way they will extinguish Allah's light.
And what does Allah Almighty do? Well, He waits with His attribute of patience. He is patient, patient, patient. In the end, a slap, a slap. Like what? Like tsunami waves. Like what? Like earthquakes. Like what? Like fire disasters, flood disasters. He brings down a town entirely. Yes. This is not Allah's oppression. It is the oppression of what people have earned with their own two hands. If you say, well, Hodja, those who are with them like that, well, the innocent ones go too, you are mistaken. Whoever follows them is like them. One who keeps silent about kufr, he says. One who keeps silent about kufr is as if he took part with them, he says. Those who keep silent about that kufr and, among them, serve them and want to earn money, since they are in the position of having served that kufr, are like them.
If among them there are those who say Allah, who refrain from them and turn away, from that town Allah takes them out. This is Allah's custom from old and continuing. Just as the prophets take those who follow the prophets out of that town, Allah takes those who say Allah out of that town too. In none of the verses will you find a change. Yes.
So people, people cannot extinguish Allah's light. It is impossible. They only extinguish their own light. They leave themselves to swamps, to nothingness, to oppression. Yes.
Let us read and see what it says in the verse.
What have we written in our commentary? Allah Almighty created these worlds according to a program. A program. Allah Almighty, who knows what will happen in the times to come until the Day of Judgment and what His creatures will do, created everything from the atom to the globe under His power and might, and no created being can go outside Allah's will.
According to people's wishes, desires and aims, their destinies were given; according to their wishes and desires Allah Almighty creates causes, and people prove what kind of person they are. It is impossible for them to go outside their destiny. Apart from humans, all creatures, the animals, Allah Almighty, in proportion to His own will, in proportion to His own will, within the duties they will perform, programmed. Look, today all creatures know so well the duty they will perform. Animals give birth so beautifully by themselves. The cat does its cat-ness, the dog its dog-ness. That is, the ant does its ant-ness, the honeybee makes honey.
Whatever has been instilled in them, they do their duties according to that nature. And no animal is responsible before Allah. But these creatures, created by Allah's attribute of justice, the animals, if they have wronged one another with a small fault, for example one gored another or hurt another. They will take their rights from one another and (?) disappear at the Judgment. They will be finished. Only of them, from the first created, they will come to paradise. The first created. Yes.
In this case, in this case, no one is able to go outside Allah Almighty's program. Neither has he the power, nor the strength, nor the might, nor the mind and reason. Yes.
And since Allah Almighty created these worlds so that His essence would be known, He created the worlds so that His essence would be known. Here, now we come to this point: these worlds, however much, so that Allah Almighty would be known, they were created, since Allah Almighty made man the addressee of His essence, He willed to be known by His essence. By His essence, that is, by that part He gave, He willed that His essence, His essence be known. In this case, since His part is in man, man is the noblest of created beings and the abdal of created beings and the most honored creation above the worlds.
Above the worlds. It is in this respect that, since spirits are immortal, paradise and hell are everlasting. With the spirits' entering paradise and hell there, the living of an immortal life will begin. In the world, within the body, deaths; until they prove what kind of person they are they have lives. After that, a death. But not upon spirits, upon bodies. For every soul will taste death, He says. Yes, now in this case man, or rather these worlds, were created so that man would know his Lord. These worlds.
Now let us open this up a little more for you. All these worlds were created so that man would know his Lord, we say. Let us open this up.
Allah Almighty is self-subsisting in His essence.
He willed to be known. From His light He created the light of the Prophet. Then, after subjecting it to a certain worship, He gave it of His spirit. Of His spirit.
From the Prophet's light, not from his spirit but from his light, He created the heavens, the earth and what is between them. From his light. Then He gave him of His spirit. From his spirit, that is, from the Prophet's spirit, He created the spirits of the prophets, and from the spirits of the prophets the spirits of the peoples. In this case, if these worlds were not created for man, what were they created for?
Hodja, could you open this up a little more? Let us open it. Allah Almighty, making man the addressee of His essence, so that He could prove to that man that there is no god other than His essence, created the world, put man upon it, and spread so many creatures before man's eyes. In His verse too, where He says: before your eyes every day hundreds of miracles appear, you are blind, you do not see; for they do not see, amid so many miracles, and that all creatures, among created beings, without being trained by any being, without being educated with instruction by any being, grasp their own duties and do these things according to their duties; that these worlds move in a course, in a course, within a certain knowledge and framework; all these galaxies turning around each other's axis according to a program, a plan, without any created thing, or these galaxies and stars, colliding with one another, their course, for every person who uses his mind, that there is a Lord, a Creator who created these worlds, (?).
So these worlds were created so that man would know his Lord. O man, open your eyes, look around you, watch; where did you come from, where will you go, how were these worlds created and who is your Owner? You will know this. Yes.
Reading from verses like that, (?). You will assert these things nicely and live them.
Since Allah Almighty created these worlds so that His essence would be known, until the Day of Judgment people who say Allah will come, and even if all the unbelievers dislike it, Allah will complete His light. Even if the unbelievers dislike it, Allah will complete His light. That is, this Holy Quran, the Holy Quran, He will make heard to the people coming until the Day of Judgment. So that they do not say: You made the Quran heard to those people. You did not make it heard to us. These people put falsehood into Your religion. Falsehood. They tried to show us right with falsehood. And since we did not hear the truth, we believed what they showed; so that they do not say this, Allah Almighty every hundred years sends a qutb al-azam, every two hundred years a qutb al-aqtab.
That is, He has the falsehoods removed from religion. And Allah completes His light until the Day of Judgment, even if the unbelievers dislike it. Now everyone hears. How did falsehood enter the religion? They inserted falsehood on three points. And we are taking them out. We are taking them out of ascribing attributes to Allah. Allah says in His verse: if this were a human fabrication, you would find in it many words that do not agree with each other, He says. Now, according to these translations they have produced, in it things do not agree with each other; what words there are. In this case, are attributes not ascribed to Allah?
Well, when it comes to talk, you say Allah is free of deficient attributes. True. But when you set out to interpret, with words that contradict each other you ascribe attributes to Allah Almighty. And hey, man, if you do not know, be silent. Do not fall into sin. And do not interpret the verses. Do not put your finger on something you do not know. Why not put your finger on it? Look what Allah Almighty says in His verse. Whoever betrays Allah and His Messenger, that is, Allah and His Messenger did not say it, says Allah and His Messenger said so, let him prepare his place in the fire, He says. Let him prepare his place in the fire.
Do you know what this means? It means this. It means that person has become an unbeliever. He has become an unbeliever. Now, does preparing one's place in the fire mean unbeliever? Yes. How? In which verse? Surah Al-A'raf, Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 24. What does it say? Do not go toward the fire prepared for the unbelievers, it says. For the unbelievers. Let us see, does it say so? Yes. What does it say in Surah Al Imran, verse 131? It has been prepared for the unbelievers, it says. So beware of that fire whose fuel is people and stones. It has been prepared for the unbelievers, it says. Yes. Here too, in Surah Al Imran, verse 131, it says: beware of the fire prepared for the unbelievers.
Now in this case, although Allah and His Messenger did not say it, how can you say: Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Ve lekad zere'nâ li-cehenneme kesîran mine'l-cinni ve'l-ins. Allah created many of humans and jinn for hell. That's what it says; let us see, does it say so, or am I reading it wrong? Yes, am I reading it wrong? Let us see, does it say so? Yes. Surah Al-A'raf, look what it says: By Allah, We have created many of the jinn and humans for hell, it says. Allah protect us. Well, Hodja, one of them wrote it like that. No. All are rendered the same way, as copies of one another. Yes. Whereas it says: We created hell for many of the jinn and humans.
He created hell. Did He not create hell? He did. But why did He create it? Look what it says. We created hell for many of the jinn and humans. Why did He create it? The reason: He created it for those who deny Allah, those who rebel against Allah. In this case Allah Almighty, O people, what you call religion is Islam, inne'd-dîne inda'llâhi'l-İslâm. Whoever goes outside the religion of Islam, that religion will never benefit him; with these verses He warns people. In this case, if a person ascribes attributes to Allah this way, interprets these this way, blames Allah, includes Allah in the attribute of wrath and ascribes injustice to Him, he prepares his own place himself.
Yes. Man prepares his own place himself. Well, Hodja, weren't deeds tied to intention? True. Even if you do not leave the religion of Islam, even if you do not go outside it, to a great punishment you will be subjected. A great punishment. It burns away the rewards you earned. Because you slandered Allah. In this case, people who think themselves scholars, scholars, ulema, people who say I serve the religion, since they instill these superstitions in people, since they ascribe attributes to Allah, let them not forget that great sins they will attain. In this case they wipe out their rewards. They wipe them out. What does it say?
Allah Almighty, in His (?) verse, says: without realizing it, you wipe out your rewards. Why does He say it? You know, they call the Prophet (peace be upon him) from his house; it would be better, He says, if you waited until he comes out; otherwise, He says, without realizing it, those rewards of yours are lost. That is, they melt away. Because of the, well, impolite actions you did toward him. Well, let alone: if it is so toward a prophet, if you commit such an insult and burn your reward, then if toward your Lord, Owner of the worlds, you interpret verses in such a way, what will become of you?
What will become of you?
Yes.
Do not forget, we are all in a test. If we love one another for Allah and benefit from one another, for Allah, though, and want to become a better servant to Allah, and remain under our Lord's mercy in the hereafter without being subjected to His punishment, my request of you is: if I too speak wrongly, warn me. Hodja, you said this here, and here you say this. These two words of yours contradict each other. Which of these is right? Warn me. Yes. We are obliged to embrace one another. We are obliged to carry one another on our backs.
In this case the finest worship is both, by enjoining good on one another, turning one another to the truth, and being governed ourselves by what we know. What are we saying? Until the Day of Judgment no force or power will be able to remove the religion of Islam, and the Holy Quran until the Day of Judgment will address the people to come, will address them. People, for their part, within their partial will, toward obeying or not obeying Allah, will carry out their deeds, and holding themselves as witness before Allah, will depart from this world. Yes. Up to here it has been rendered correctly, that is.
So people, that is, those who are non-Muslim and want to remove Allah's religion, will not succeed at this. Other than speaking only with their mouths, wasting their time, and, through the oppression they do to Islam, leaving themselves to eternal oppression in the hereafter and being deprived of Allah's light, they will not be able to go further. So these people are people who will do wrong to their own nafs. People who will do wrong to their own nafs.
Today I am having my car washed. It got muddy going to the village and back. And when some people take the car, it gets muddy, of course. The car is muddy inside and out; I'm having it washed. A young lad has had a tattoo done on his arm.
They like me a lot too. I always have the car washed there.
Come here, let me see, I said to him. Are you, I said, a Muslim? Are you a Christian? I said. He understood the situation. An alert one. I'm a Christian, he said. Don't wrong yourself, I said. Don't follow the state, the passion, the nafs of this world, this passing world, and Satan's path, and wrong your own nafs, I said.
You will not escape dragging along with both feet in one shoe, I said. A little earlier he had been complaining too. Will my whole life go by washing cars, wiping cars? he was saying. There, I said, look, if you say Allah, Allah opens unknown doors for you. Perhaps in the future you will reach a better state. But you have tattoos done like this. You indulge the nafs. You take three pennies here, show them off left and right, and if you spend it, your life, as I said, you will spend dragging along like this with both feet in one shoe. Think well about which path you will follow. Don't say I'm a Christian like that, I said.
And when taking the car, (?) like this. Something (?) to himself? Since my ears are hard of hearing, I didn't hear. Yes. Indulging the nafs, appearing wealthy to people, showing off, swaggering, eating and drinking what he earned in his pocket and not thinking of tomorrow, falls into the state of the cicada. So what did we say? Allah created these worlds so that people would know their Lord. Look, before our eyes there is the cicada too. You know the story of the cicada and the ant. Let me tell it once more, even though you know it. The ant, in the summer season, all day long, prepares for the coming winter and carries continually.
Whatever there is, it takes to its nest. Of course this is a fable. In fact the ant uses what it carries as fertilizer, grows mushrooms, grows mushrooms in its nest. It has a hole up above so that the mushroom sees the sun. With that mushroom the ants secure their winter food. Well, of course, since this is a story, let us tell the story. It carries food. Well, it fills its (?). And the cicada lives it up. It sings on and on, chirr chirr chirr chirr chirr chirr chirr chirr. Winter comes and knocks at the door. The cicada has neither a place to shelter nor a morsel, a bite to eat. It comes and knocks at the ant's door.
Please, it says, let me in, and give me some of your food. In summer, it says, instead of singing chirr chirr chirr chirr and showing off, it says, you should have prepared for your winter, it says, and shuts the door in its face. Yes, people too, if they squander the three pennies, the five pennies they earn today without thinking of tomorrow, if he spends what he earned with his own two hands on his own nafs's desire, for Satan's sake, then, not freeing his two feet from one shoe, he spends his life in such a miserable state. So if he indulges the nafs... A person will know his helplessness. He will thank his Lord, trust in Him, be content with what comes from Him, continue in worship of Him, be in the race to be a servant, be thankful for his state, and set aside a little of what he finds today for tomorrow.
And since such conduct pleases Allah, perhaps Allah Almighty will make his future brighter. Yes. This is under our Lord's mercy.
Yes, we continue with our lesson.
