Allah is the One Who has sent the Messenger with divine guidance and the true religion, to exalt Allah’s religion above all religions, even if idolaters detest it.
Tafsir
When human beings were in the state of spirits (in Kalubala), Allah (swt) gave them the intellect, which we call the intellect maad, by which they knew that each spirit was created by a Lord. In this respect, the polytheists, despite their knowledge of Allah, associate partners with Allah by worshipping idols made by their own hands, by worshipping the creatures of Allah's creation, or by taking their own kind as gods, simply because they are rebellious against Allah.
Those who, although they know the Essence of Allah, associate partners with Allah, those who are in shirk, those who suffocate the light of faith in the darkness of shirk, those who call what they have invented a religion, those who actually deify their own nafs, those who worship their nafs, those who act according to the Verse (Have you not seen him who deifies his nafs), whether they like it or not, the true religion of Allah will remain until the Day of Judgment. Allah will hold His religion, which is the truth, above those who are in the darkness of Shirk, who call what they have invented a religion and worship them, and He will make them miserable and miserable according to the Verse (truth has come and falsehood has been destroyed).
O human beings! In the face of so much truth and reality, will we not bow down and surrender to Allah, the giver of so much sustenance and blessings, the Creator of us and the worlds? Will we not be able to break our pride and egoism and bow down to Him, the One and Only, the Self-subsistent One, who cannot harm Allah in any way, even if the human and jinn tribes come together, even if the universe gathers? Can we not say, "You are our Lord"? Allah sent His Messenger with guidance and the true religion in order to make His religion superior to all the religions that people have invented as religions. So let us return to Allah and His Messenger and obey him so that we may be saved.
What is said in the video
We come to Surah At-Tawbah, verse 33. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. He, Allah, He, Allah. And He says: He, that Allah who... Hu, the one self-subsisting in His essence anyway. The one existing by Himself. He, He says, symbolizes His essence. Ellezî, He. Resûlehû bi'l-hüdâ, the prophet sent by Allah. Yes. He, Allah, He says, even if the polytheists dislike it, to make His religion prevail over all religions, sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth. His Messenger. To make His religion prevail over all religions, He says.
So does Allah Almighty call the laws people have made religion, now? Do they have religions too, that He says over the religions? This is a very important point, whereas other than Allah's word, other than His shar'i ruling, there is no religion. Religion is Allah's command to the people He created, and religion is the path of guidance that Allah Almighty has shown to the people He created. So is there a religion outside this? Allah Almighty says over all religions. Yes. Let us close this point. What did we say? Allah Almighty created man very honored. Honored. And created him superior above the worlds.
Above the worlds. The reason is that He gave him of His spirit. Because he has a part of Him. Because He takes man's speech as addressee, addressee, He takes man as addressee anyway. No created being other than man is an addressee. Only humans are addressees. This world was created for humans anyway. Because He gave of His spirit. In this case, in this case. Before explaining this, let us close one matter. The jinn are also responsible to Allah Almighty, but they are not addressees. Because there is no spirit in the jinn. Created from His light. Created from a fire. That is, created within frequencies.
In this case He says of them: your enemy. About the devils He tells us: your enemies. In this case, when we disqualify them, as religion, the words people let out of their mouths, the words they mouth, since there is a part of His spirit, of which He says, have you not seen the one who deifies his nafs, those people who deify their nafs, like the Pharaohs, like the Nimrods, and who, by their own minds, put fabrications into books, fabrications, as they say this too is Allah's word, with invented religions; since Allah Almighty holds people as addressees of His essence, of what they said, He says, you know, those superstition religions, He says, yes, over those religions, even if they had (?) to Me too, He says, however much they say Allah said it, He says, since there are insertions in them, and since, He says, by their own minds they put their laws there as they wished, and since they call this religion, He says, those people who believe in it too, since they say I (?) this religion, to them, with a fine language, their (?), in a way that will not drive them to rebellion, with a verse that supports the verse inne'd-dîne inda'llâhi'l-İslâm, that none of their religions has any validity left, that the religions they call their religions are full of superstitions, and that Allah gathered the books He had sent them before in the Holy Quran, and sent His Messenger with guidance upon the religion of truth, He proves here so beautifully.
Upon the religion of truth. Yes.
That is, words are very important. Words. We read the verse. He, Allah, even if the polytheists dislike it, His own religion, to make it prevail over all religions, His own religion. How beautiful. To make it prevail over all religions: we highlighted this for you. He sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth. When people were in the state of spirits at Qalu Bala, with the mind that Allah Almighty gave them, the mind we call akl-i maad, every person knows that he was created by a god. He knows that he was created by one Allah, by a Lord. In this respect, although the polytheists know Allah, merely because they rebel against Allah, what their hands made, worshipping, worshipping what they made with their hands, or taking those of their own kind as gods, they associate partners with Allah.
Of their own kind. Why? Because they imagined the Lord they expected in their own imagination. Because they did not accept Allah. Because our Lord resembles man. Now when we say these things, those partial superstitionist minds, you know. This man ascribes attributes to Allah. He says He resembles man. He resembles man. Of course, he read it that way. He saw it that way. You know, they say Allah Almighty is free of form; Allah Almighty is not free of form. He is free of a fixed form. Superstitionists: He is free of a fixed form. Know this well. What? According to what? According to what? Look, I will tell you another verse.
However you know Me, I am (?) of that, (?) of that too, (?) of that too, He says. Can you deny this verse? So Allah Almighty has a form. Within that form He changes form constantly. Superstitionist, He is not free of form. Yes. Then He gave us of His spirit, the universal spirit. Allah Almighty equipped us with the attribute of essence, made us honored above the worlds, and again that He is aware with the attribute of essence He proves with this verse too. At the Mi'raj He straightened up once more in that true form, it says. Where? At Sidrat al-Muntaha, to the Prophet there, (?), it says, what covered the Sidra was covering it. He straightened up once more in His true form.
And Allah revealed to His servant, it says, what He revealed. The superstitionist calls this Gabriel too. Of course, because he does not know. Yes. So, so, what does it say here? Allah Almighty, well, with the mind He gave people, which we call akl-i maad, every person knows that he was created by a god. In this respect, although the polytheists know Allah, merely because they rebel against Allah, worshipping what they made with their hands or taking those of their own kind as gods, they associate partners with Allah. There he could not recognize his Lord. He was caught up in pride, arrogance, grandeur, ego.
Like me, he says. That is, a human cannot be my Lord. What will it be? Who will it be? The Lord of his imagination. So they will not be able to see their Lord. Yes. Look, I always answer you with verses. Not with superstitionist words, words. Always with verses. In this case. If a person uses his mind, he finds the truth. He will use his mind. For in the verse Allah Almighty says, will you not use your minds at all? Will you not reflect at all?
In this world a person will live whatever his covenant is. If there a person with a rebellious spirit gave Allah his covenant in a way that does not recognize his Lord, Allah Almighty programmed him that way. So what does this mean? Partial free will is entirely in man's own hand; with his own being that person was to know his Lord. That is why Allah Almighty left partial free will in people's hands. Otherwise there are many beings Allah Almighty created, there are angels too. The angels worship Allah Almighty according to whatever duty they were created for, according to that duty. But consider them each a robot.
Whatever duty you build, program a robot for, that robot runs a program according to that duty. So the angels are similar to this. Obedient to every command of His, so as to carry out Allah Almighty's command, they were created.
Created as a separate being, (?) in their Lord. In this respect, man has been made the addressee of Allah Almighty's essence. Addressee. Allah Almighty says Eleysallâhu bi-ahkemi'l-hâkimîn: I am the judge of judges, He says. Well, if He is the judge of judges, with a certain form, a certain attribute, a certain station He will call us to account. Yes. In this case Allah Almighty, in the hereafter, on the Day of Judgment, will again manifest Himself to us with the attribute of essence. So at that address Alastu bi-Rabbikum, with the mind in the spirits that we call akl-i maad, if man had used his mind, as He said, do you not use your minds at all, will you not use them, if he had used his mind, before so many billions of created people, although that Essence said, I created you, I am your Lord, and although the Prophet (peace be upon him) beside Him, saying yes, this is our Lord, to all those created as an elder in the measure of a parent, proved our Lord, although; and in the measure that those people there divided into three classes and those on the left denied Allah Almighty, expecting the Lord of their own imagination, and gave Allah Almighty such a covenant, these people think they will extinguish Allah's light.
Now we continue from where we left off. If they had used their minds: before so many people a single Creator says I created you; if there had been a creator other than Him, if there had been a creator other than Him, other than that Allah,
would he show all those created ones to that person, to that Essence, and introduce Him, saying yes, He created them? He would destroy Him. Don't lie. Where did you create from? From whom did you get this authority? He would destroy Him. He would come out and say I am your Lord. And no one came out. How do you know, Hodja? I saw those worlds. I know that address Alastu bi-Rabbikum very well. I saw it. In this case I too am thinking. I am thinking the same thought there.
I wonder, how do we know He created us?
Let me gain a little time, I say. Then, yes, if you obey Him: I know I was created, but I came into being from nothing. Then let us not be destroyed along with Him, I say. But no such creator ever came out. But we obey, of course. Now in this case, in this case, there the people caught up in that pride and arrogance, since they saw their Lord as like themselves, could not believe in Allah. And the Muslims here too conceive Allah Almighty wrongly. He is free of form, they say. If He is free of form, air too is free of a form. Air has no form. Because you cannot see it. How will you see your Lord?
In the verse He says: it was before My eyes. So He has eyes. Let me tell you. They say: we have come, we have seen, we have heard, our Lord. Our Lord, we have come, we have seen, we have heard. Where do they say it? If I can find it, I will tell it to you now. Well, look, what does it say?
Those sinners: Surah As-Sajdah, 415. page, verse 12, Surah As-Sajdah. Those sinners, in the presence of their Lord, will bow their heads, bow their heads: Our Lord, we have seen, we have heard. Now send us back to the world so that we may do good deeds. Now we firmly believe; if only you could see the time when they will say this, it says. I am not the one saying this, Allah is saying it. What does it say, superstitionist? I am saying it to the superstitionists. What does it say? Those sinners in the presence of their Lord, you know, those who say He is free of form, the sinners, in the presence of their Lord, will bow their heads: Our Lord, we have seen, we have heard. Now send us back to the world so that we may do good deeds.
If only you could see the time when they will say this, it says. Yes.
In this case
it means
that Allah Almighty is not free of form, He is free of a fixed form, and since He (?) us a body from His spirit, (?) with the attributes of essence. To these superstitionists, to those people who think themselves knowledgeable: oh, it was the attribute of eternity, oh, it was such-and-such attribute, oh, such-and-such attribute; invent, invent and say it, outside the verses. Invent, invent and say it. Conceive it wrongly, wrongly. Why invent, invent and say it and conceive it wrongly, wrongly? Because within a certain propaganda, with a certain principle, by a certain way, in the religion of Islam, to take Allah out of His scope, and, outside a world of imagination, though with his own mind he knows the existence of the hereafter, to make him call Jesus the son of Allah, and to tie everything to the world and in this way to distance people from religion.
But if people knew that they have a Lord like themselves. That Lord will call them to account. And no power is enough against Him, nor any might nor any strength. In this case, that Lord who is Eleysallâhu bi-ahkemi'l-hâkimîn, the judge of judges, when at the supreme court on that day He says the ruling is Allah's alone, when no one, in power, strength and might, is any match for Him,
if those people knew this so, and knew Allah Almighty in the world this way, surely they would worship Allah much better than those superstitionists know Him.
Well, then, if He is like us, we will attack Him too. We will gather our relatives, gather our (?), gather our people. How can He overpower us? Allah Almighty says a verse for that too. Look what it says. Let them gather their supporters. We too will call the guardians of hell, He says. We too will call the guardians of hell. Do you see? Yes. They cannot overpower them. They, He says, will seize them by their (?) and throw them in through a narrow gate of hell. Yes. (?).
That is why Allah Almighty also has (?) attributes along with the attributes of essence. But He is not in a fixed form. He constantly changes form. That is why: however they see Me, I am (?) of that, (?) of that too, (?) of that too. Why so? Why? He did not remain in a single form. People would make My shape in that form. They would make His image, His likeness. Then, then, slowly they would worship it. Your image; in our worshipping these, in worshipping this, we were worshipping You, they would say. That is why Allah Almighty is free of a fixed form. Not that He is free of form. He is free of a fixed form.
So those superstitionists, when they say this man ascribes attributes to Allah, how well they expose their own ignorance. They expose how unaware they are of the verses. And they expose that they themselves are unaware of religion. Yes.
If the Prophet (peace be upon him) came to these people now and said, O people, I am a prophet, said it again and again to these superstitionists, and even showed a miracle, just like the (?) who saw that miracle and said this is magic, those superstitionists would be the first to rise up against the Prophet.
Yes. These are the ones who see themselves as (?) in religion, the superstitionists.
What was it? When people were in the state of spirits at Qalu Bala, with the mind Allah Almighty gave them, which we call akl-i maad, every person knows that he was created by a god. In this respect, although the polytheists know Allah, He says before them, I created you, although they know Him, merely because they rebel against Allah, worshipping what they made with their hands or taking those of their own kind as gods, they associate partners with Allah.
Now, exactly, our child Ender has a question. Time: since the question is exactly about verses, let us go together in dialogue. Hodja, the main point on which those who argue that Allah, who has no likeness, has no shape or form rely. Is that Allah is not matter. Yet in reality man too is not matter. In the hereafter, will man, who has no material body, be shapeless and formless? he says. He says it very well and asks a very good question. Now, Hodja, Allah, who has no likeness, he says. They conceive this point wrongly. Allah Almighty has neither a likeness nor an equal. What does this mean?
I am an inventor. I make something people do not know.
A person like me cannot make this. That is, when it says likeness: as a human, he is not the like of my mind. Nor the like of my knowledge, nor my equal. I am superior. Because I invented it.
So with Allah Almighty too, in the art of creating, the art of creating, His equal, and equal means (?), likeness, that is, creating something similar to Him, you cannot find. This is in this sense. Nor any likeness of Him? That is, within the capacity of his mind, creating what He can create, nor does He have an equal, spouse or partner. This is the meaning of these verses. So these people distort these, they get this out of it. Now, after understanding this, Allah who has no likeness has a shape, no form; the main point on which those who argue this rely, he says, is this. Yes. After this is opened up: yet man too is in reality not matter; he is right.
Man is in reality not matter. He is within a temporary matter. Now we open this up. He asks a very good question. Within a temporary matter. It is of light; I mean, it is spiritual. My Beloved, they ask you about the spirits; say: it is a command of my Lord. So you cannot call the spirit matter. If it is a command of your Lord, what is it? Allah knows best. Little knowledge has been given about it. It is a matter of His. Look, a matter. That matter can take whatever form it wishes, and the spirit is one with the nafs and the life. Now in this case man has put on a temporary matter, put on flesh and bone, and appeared in this state.
So when our child Ender says man too is actually not matter, according to the verse We bring you to life twice and cause you to die twice, our first coming to life is here as matter, our first death is here as matter, our second coming to life is in the hereafter there as matter, and our second death, as matter, in the hereafter again; spirit, nafs and life remain. What then, man?
It is not matter.
Yes. (?) it is a matter, but they ask you about the spirits. Say: it is a command of my Lord. His command. The spirit is a command of your Lord. Well, Hodja, they gave you a spirit too. Is it your command too? I mean, is it His command too? Then, had it been His command, would He not put whom He wills into paradise and whom He wills into hell? When you say this: it is a part of Him, separated from His essence, to which He entrusted His own will. A part of Him. When He says a command of my Lord: from His essence, to wherever He wishes, in whatever way He wishes, He sends His own essence as an envoy.
His own essence. As He sent to Mary.
If from a part of Him He created the Prophet, and from all of his part so many people who will come, who will come until the Day of Judgment, Allah Almighty, from His own essence, to wherever He wishes, in whatever way He wishes, sends His part as an envoy. As a delegation, it says, when those God-fearing are (?) to their Lord.
(?), that is, the verses. They all confirm one another. In this case, in the hereafter, without a material body, he says, will man be shapeless and formless? he says. He is right. How well he says it. How well he says it. What will be shapeless and formless? In this very form, that is, in the form of youth, at 33 years of age, you will appear there. In the form of 33 years our wives, 18 years, our daughters in the form of 18 years will be seen. And the men will be seen in the form of 33 years. With their own attributes,
in these states; and there is no growing old again there. Allah Almighty, however, will change form constantly. Along with His true form, He will also be able to appear in (?) form. So since there we too will be in a form, we are not formless. Since the spirit too has a form, since it is also a command of our Lord, since that spirit too exists in a form, it means we will have a form. Thus, when we are freed from the body, spirit, nafs and life are one. If spirit, nafs and life (?) are separate, this is the outer form of our spirit, and at the Judgment too, believing that we will be resurrected after the Judgment; but since those superstitionists enter paradise with the body, these things come about anyway.
They even strip the clothes off the body, and, you know, there was supposedly a lake at the gate of paradise, and they cleaned themselves in the lake and went in; and on top of that the superstitionists try to give advice on religion to people. Shamelessly, on top of that. Because they give it (?). Well, with those forms of our spirits, cleansed and purified of sin, to the word of the angels: today you have come here perfectly clean, that is, you have attained this place sinless; since they put them in there with that body, they accept the spirit as formless and immaterial. So these superstitionists need to be raised well.
The next generation needs to be given good knowledge. We informed the Directorate of Religious Affairs too of the situation. We informed the Ministry of National Education too. We said the lessons must be given on this book, according to this system. Upon this, the Ministry of National Education told us: this has left us, it has left our (?), it was transferred to the moral rules section. Yes. Apply there, they said. And we sent a circular to all the theology faculties in Turkey. Yes. We are doing what is necessary, we are working for Allah. For Allah. Within these superstitionists' own structures a new structuring must come about. A new structuring, not with superstitionists like this.
Well, therefore, according to their mindset, if our Lord is formless, what does 'He straightened up in His true form' mean? If you don't (?), then of course, surely, within these superstitions let them exclude Allah. Well, how does Gabriel train the Prophet? How does he teach? And how does Gabriel reveal? Do you never think? Have you no mind, superstitionist? Yes. That is why religion does not fit into your mind. The verses do not fit into your mind with these superstitions. Learn well. Learn well. Then, when you speak, do not expose your ignorance. Look what a good question our child Ender asks.
In this (?), take an example from this person. There, he says, do we not have a form in the state of spirit? he says. Yes.
So those who, although they know Allah's essence, associate partners with Allah, those in shirk, those who drown the light of faith in the darkness of shirk, who call what they invented religion, who actually deify their own nafs and worship their nafs, who act according to the verse, have you not seen the one who deifies his nafs: whether they want it or not, whether they want it or not, Allah's true religion will remain until the Day of Judgment. And Allah, holding His own true religion above those who, in the darkness of shirk, call what they invented religion and worship it, according to the verse 'truth has come and falsehood has vanished', will make them abject and wretched.
O people! In the face of so much truth and reality, to Allah, who gives so much provision and blessing, who created us and the worlds, will we not bow and submit? I say. Still, still will we not use our minds? Even if the communities of humans and jinn came together, even if the universe assembled, they could in no way harm Allah; toward Him, the One self-subsisting in His essence, the One self-subsisting in His essence, will we not break our pride and ego and bow, I say. Will we not bow? Will we not trust in Him? Will we not be able to say You are our Lord? So, to make His own religion prevail over all the religions that all people invented as religion, Allah has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth.
So let us return to Allah and His Messenger and obey, so that we may attain salvation. Yes.
