Translation

Allah has forgiven you. But why did you give them permission until those who say the truth became apparent to you, and until you knew the liars?

Tafsir

At the beginning of our Book, some Verses were opened incorrectly and Allah and His Messenger were accused. We have written that we will open these Verses one by one when the time comes and we will prove the mistakes. This Verse has also been opened incorrectly in Arabic. The way it is opened in the Qur'anic translation books is as follows. (Allah forgave you, but why did you allow them until the truthful ones became clear to you and you knew the liars). This way of opening is wrong. The Prophet (PBUH) is being rebuked and blamed. However, Allah (swt) created His Messenger as an example and he is supported by our Lord with the verse that he does not speak in vain.

Allah (swt) sent His Prophet (s.a.w.) to complete good morals. He is an example for people. In one of his hadiths, the Prophet (PBUH) said, "My Lord trained me and trained me well". In this respect, Allah (swt) has said about His Messenger in another verse that he does not speak idle talk. According to these Verses, if the above Verse were to be opened as the Qur'anic interpretations suggest, it would contradict many Verses and hadiths, as well as the forty-seventh Verse of this Surah. The forty-seventh verse reads: "If they had gone out among you (to war), they would have contributed nothing but mischief to you, and they would certainly have run among you seeking to sow sedition. And there are those among you who will listen to them attentively. Allah knows the wrongdoers well). So the truth of this opening is as we have written above. By giving permission to the hypocrites, the sedition in the army was prevented. Allah (swt) supported His Messenger. Because the Prophet (PBUH) knew by the light of Allah that they were hypocrites and liars. By allowing them, the faithful and the hypocrites are completely separated from each other.

What is said in the video

Surah At-Tawbah, verse 43: Allah has forgiven you. Indeed, by your permitting the liars, the truthful became quite clear to you, He says.

This is one of the wrongly rendered verses. Well, this 43rd verse: let's see how it has been wrongly rendered. "Allah has forgiven you" is correct. But "until those who speak the truth became quite clear to you and you knew the liars, why did you give them permission?" it says; and so the verse here: just, why did you give permission? It both interrogates and forgives. Now here there is an interrogation. What does it say? Allah has forgiven you, but until those who speak the truth became quite clear to you and you knew the liars, why did you give them permission? it says. Here this word, I mean this kind of rendering, contradicts this verse.

He does not speak idly. He does not speak idly; the Prophet (?) (peace be upon him), unless a command from Allah Almighty had come, would not speak. So the verse "he does not speak idly" is contradicted by this place. What does it say? "But until those who speak the truth became quite clear to you and you knew the liars, why did you give them permission?" Saying this makes the Prophet appear to act on his own, which contradicts the verses. Now, the correct version of this: Allah has forgiven you; indeed, by permitting the liars, look, by giving the liars permission, the truthful became quite clear to you, it says, yes, the truthful became quite clear to you, the liars all left, yes.

The verses: knowledge of Arabic is not enough to explain them. At the beginning of our book: some verses have been wrongly rendered. Allah and His Messenger have been accused. That when their turn came we would explain these verses one by one and prove the errors, we had written. In this verse, it has been wrongly rendered by the word-for-word equivalent of the Arabic. Namely, in the Quran translation books the rendering is as follows: Allah has forgiven you, but until those who speak the truth became quite clear to you and you knew the liars, why did you give them permission? This kind of rendering is wrong.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) is rebuked and accused. Yet Allah Almighty created His Beloved as an example. Allah Almighty sent His Beloved (?) (peace be upon him) to perfect good character. He is an example for people. In one of his hadiths, the Prophet (peace be upon him) says: my Lord educated me, (?). Therefore, again in a verse, Allah Almighty, about His Beloved, "he does not speak idly" decrees. According to these verses, if the verse above is rendered as in the Quran translations, just as it would contradict many verses and hadiths, it would also contradict the 47th verse of this surah.

In the 47th verse: had they too gone out to fight among you, they would have added nothing for you but disorder, and they would surely have rushed about among you, seeking to stir up fitna. And among you there were those who would listen closely to them. Allah knows the wrongdoers very well. This place would contradict that verse. So the correct rendering is as we wrote above: by permitting the hypocrites, the fitna that would have arisen in the army was prevented. Allah Almighty supported His Beloved. Because the Prophet (peace be upon him), by the light of Allah, knew that they were hypocrites and liars.

And in giving them permission, the truthful and the hypocrites were completely separated from one another.
