Only those who don’t believe in Allah and the hereafter, and whose hearts are in doubt and who struggle in their doubts will ask for permission from you.
Tafsir
When our souls were created, Allah (swt) made a covenant with each soul, and in this covenant, most people could not believe that Allah (swt) was the One who created them and they denied Allah (swt). They made their covenant as disbelievers and their wills were written as destiny for them. Of course, they will desire in this world what they desired in the past in accordance with their own desires and wishes, and they will prove themselves to be enemies of Allah and His Messenger and liars at the same time, by committing the same characters in their deeds. Such people are those who have doubt and rebellion in their hearts, who prefer the life of this world to the life of the Hereafter, who doubt that there will be a resurrection after death, who are deceived by the pleasures of this world, who follow the footsteps of Shaytan, and when the unattainable treasures of the Hereafter are presented to them while they are in this world, they take leave and run away, making excuses not to go to war because they love their lives too much.
If they believed in the existence of Allah and the reality of the Hereafter, they would have obeyed the Messenger of Allah even at the cost of their lives and would have taken their places with him.
The Messenger of Allah is alive. If Islam goes to war, whether now or in the future, and those who are able to take up arms make excuses and do not stand with Allah and His Messenger, then their hearts are suspicious of the Hereafter and the existence of Allah. Such people are very afraid of war and death. They are attached to the world as if they will never die. When they are commanded, they pass on to the Hereafter as wrongdoers against their own souls.
What is said in the video
We are saying.
Verse 45: Only those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day, whose hearts have fallen into doubt and who waver in their doubts ask your permission, it says. At the time of war, those who do not want to go to war. Those who have doubts about the hereafter and in Allah, about Allah.
Allah Almighty does not say this about a Muslim. Even if a Muslim is in doubt, it is not like the doubt of a non-Muslim. He, after all, (?). He shows loyalty to his faith. When the time comes, he again takes his rightful place in time. These are only for the hypocrites, for (?) — verses said about them.
When our souls were created, Allah made a covenant with each soul; these people did not believe that Allah is Allah, and they denied Allah. These are the disbelievers. Let me open this up a little for you; you always listen to me, and since you listen, with repetition it is understood better. What does it say? Our souls — when they were created, that is, in Allah's (?), with each soul making a covenant, that is, in the address "Elestü bi-Rabbiküm", when He said "I am your Lord", Allah Almighty, who made a covenant with us — these people did not believe that Allah is Allah and denied Allah. Remember, we said our souls stand opposite in three groups, in three groups.
When He said "I am your Lord", they split into three groups. That is, "ve ashabü'l-meymeneti ma ashabü'l-meymeneh", those on the right; and "ve ashabü'l-meş'emeti ma ashabü'l-meş'emeh", those on the left; and "ve's-sabikune's-sabikun ülaike'l-mukarrabun fi cennati'n-naim" — this third group, the group of the foremost. They were divided into three classes. There, because Allah Almighty gave man of His spirit, gave a part, as we always say, exactly in human form, in our form, let's say in our form. Manifesting to us in a form unique to Himself, in the form of His essence, and the Prophet beside Him as a witness said "yes, this is our Lord" — despite this.
As Allah Almighty says in the verse, they are lying disbelievers. "My beloved, do not mind them calling you a liar; in their time they betrayed Me too", He says — according to those verses. Because they saw Allah Almighty like themselves, because they saw Him in human form, they did not believe in Him; they waited for the Lord of their imagination. Which Allah Almighty — it must be, Allah knows best, verse 200 of Surah Al-Baqarah. Let's look, let's see, is it really verse 200? Yes.
192 No.
In 300 it isn't. Of course.
It must be a bit further back, I suppose. Let me tell you the verse, you will understand it. If, it says, We had come down from the clouds with the angels, it says. They were expecting such a situation. Allah would come down from the clouds with the angels, and they would prostrate to Him. Since this was the thought in their imagination, in Allah Almighty they could not believe. Yes.
It speaks of (?).
Yes.
in this situation those people, in this situation those people, even if they had seen Allah, even if they had seen Him coming down from that cloud, they still would not have believed. Because in their character lies a (?) spirit. In this situation, just as, although the Prophet (peace be upon him) showed many miracles, they said, "What a great sorcerer this is", they would have said the same about Allah. They would have said, "This is great sorcery." Yes, these people there, having seen Allah, having seen Allah Almighty, though He said "I am your Lord", Allah Almighty they saw like themselves, that is, in (?) form, so they waited for the Lord of their imagination — people who denied Allah.
Because of vainglory, pride, arrogance and their self-importance. Yes, in this situation they denied Allah. Those who gave their covenant as deniers, and whose destiny was written for them as their own wish. In this situation, since Allah Almighty does not use force on people, since He tied everyone's desire and wish to people's own will, He wrote their desires and wishes, their will, for them as destiny. Yes, so that he will increase, in the worldly realm too, his earlier will in the direction of his own desire and wish, and, acting out the same character and actual deeds, to himself his enmity to Allah and His Messenger, and at the same time his lying, he will prove. His lying.
Whatever his desire, wish and will was there, he had his own will written for him as destiny. When he desires that desire and wish in the world — this is Allah Almighty's attribute of being God. This is His greatness. From His majesty, from His power. In response to the desires and wishes of all His creatures, or of people, He creates causes. People who carry out actual deeds through those causes incur sin through the cause. These people, who made their covenant with Allah Almighty as deniers, in the world play out these desires and wishes within causes and fulfil them, making themselves witness to themselves, to those around them and to Allah Almighty, and prove their lying.
Their lying — beside the believers, beside those who know their Lord, they stand as liars; and in the hereafter, according to the verse that says "they will not see their Lord", they will be lost, and their lying there will be proven once more. In this situation, since he cannot come back to the worldly realm, from which there is no return, he will have bought the life of eternal Hell. Allah protect us. From such a thought, from such a desire and wish, may Allah protect us. Yes. Such people are those with doubt and rebellion in their hearts. Those who prefer worldly life to the life of the hereafter and are doubtful that resurrection after death will exist.
That resurrection after death will exist. Isn't that so, what did we say? These are for non-Muslims. A believer — let's not say a believer, rather a Muslim — (?)? A Muslim, even if he definitely has doubt about Allah Almighty, even if he is in doubt about the hereafter — and such people exist, they do — but since they do not compromise their faith, our Lord too will bring us to (?) and, since we did not compromise our faith, will again protect us under His mercy. In the hereafter. Yes. But a non-Muslim, when that doubt and his belief
is that there will be no resurrection in the hereafter, such people, when they go to the hereafter as disbelievers, the (?) deeds they will have done have gone to waste. Gone to waste, and finally they become the losers, those left there forsaken and alone. In this situation, when such people are called to war in the world, they stay nailed to their place. They fear for their own lives, they think their wealth will be (?), whereas after the enemy takes them captive, neither wealth remains, nor honour, nor life. Since these do not think that far ahead, together with your wives, on whom Allah Almighty did not make war obligatory, with those who sit they are. Yes, such people, those in whose hearts there is doubt and rebellion.
Those who prefer worldly life to the life of the hereafter, those who are doubtful that after death resurrection, resurrection will exist, those who, deceived by the world's pleasures and delights, follow in Satan's footsteps. When such unattainable treasures of the realm of the hereafter are offered to them while in the world — how will they be offered, the treasures of the hereafter to us, the treasures of that home of eternal bliss? Either for Allah, for the religion, for homeland, nation and honour he will (?), become a martyr. Do not call them dead. They are provided for in ways you do not know, He says.
Or he will give charity in Allah's way from his earnings.
Or, as the verse says — "who is sweeter of speech than one who tells of Allah" — such people will tell people about Allah's Messenger, will tell people the truth: the honour and dignity of humanity, the majesty and power of Allah Almighty, that He created this universe for people's sake; that the Beloved of the Almighty, to whom He said "Had it not been for you, I would not have created the realms", Muhammad (peace be upon him), was (?) himself; that in this way (?) — with the great values our Lord has given us, our Lord, through our knowing our Lord, gives us the endless home of bliss of the hereafter.
Yes. What is there to it? Say Allah. What is there to it? Go down in prostration in the five daily prayers. Five or ten minutes in your prayer. What's so hard about that? Don't lie. Sidestep your nafs. Don't get carried away by pride, arrogance, wealth, (?). Don't boast of what Allah has given. All of it is Allah's. Every soul shall taste death. The inheritance of the heavens and the earth will remain to Allah, He says. Because Allah created. What Allah created will remain to Allah. Yes.
So, when the unattainable treasures are offered to them while in the world, these, because they love their lives so much, make up excuses so as not to go to battle, get permission and withdraw and leave. Yes. If these had believed in Allah's existence and that the hereafter is true, they would obey what Allah's Messenger said, even at the cost of their lives. They would have taken their place beside Allah's Messenger. Yes.
Thanks be to Allah. Allah's Messenger is hay, that is, alive. Alive. I have made you alive, says Allah Almighty. The attribute Hay belongs to Allah alone.
And the attribute of being alive is Allah Almighty's. People tasting death and living again exactly as if they were living this realm — their living so is being alive. As He says of the martyrs, "they are provided for in ways you do not know", as He says "do not call them dead", the Prophet, since he came as a mercy to the two worlds, he too is alive. Because he is alive, destructions have been lifted from among us. Why were destructions lifted? Because Allah sent him as a mercy to the realms. Where there is mercy, there is no destruction, no calamities. But these destructions do not happen. But calamities do happen. Calamities.
And Allah Almighty gives these calamities to people so that they return to the truth. But those people who have intellect, although He says "We give non-Muslims two or three calamities a year", instead of finding the truth within that calamity and (?) to the truth, help one another and try to find a remedy for their own troubles. In this situation, when Allah Almighty tests them with their lives and wealth, they never turn to Allah and prostrate — forget prostration, they don't supplicate, don't implore; it doesn't even cross their minds. They even (?). Did I deserve this? he says. O so-and-so, he says, so-and-so, the greatest of the three, and so on.
Allah is great. Allah protect us. Allah is not the greatest of three. Allah has no spouse, no partner, no equal, nor (?). It is Allah who subsists by His own essence, the absolute owner of all the realms. Yes.
Allah's Messenger being alive, whether today or in the future, should Islam be drawn into war, people whose hands can hold, whose hands can hold a weapon — if they make up excuses and do not take their place beside Allah and His Messenger, these (?) are people doubtful about the hereafter, who do not believe in Allah. Such people, fearing (?), attached to the world as if they would never die, when death comes and catches them, are those who are unjust to their own selves. To their own selves.
What a person does to his own self, the two worlds together could not do. For instance, a person kills a person. The matter does not end with killing. That person does not cease to exist by death. But if that person takes his right from the killer in the hereafter and has also done good deeds, in the hereafter, bliss (?). But if a person goes far in oppression, in oppression,
swindles this one and that one, usurps the rights of this one and that one, does not recognize Allah and His Messenger, yet appears to be beside Allah and His Messenger, exploits the conscience of people, of Muslims, if these both believe and take Allah's verses lightly, then what they do to their own selves, the two worlds together could not do. So, I said, you kill me, I go to the hereafter, and in the hereafter I take my right from you. But what will you do about the punishment of the hereafter? Who will save you? Who will save you? In this situation, if a person, in all he does, is responsible not to people but first to his own conscience, to his own conscience, and that responsibility — as if feeling himself in Allah's presence — if he feels his responsibility before his Lord, evils fall away from this person.
Only then does a person begin to be human. He becomes a person useful to those around him, useful to his nation and state. And Allah Almighty wants to see us like this.
