Tafsir
The polytheists, the hypocrites, and those who worship other religions other than Islam, and the charity they give and the good deeds they do are not for the sake of Allah, so such good deeds and charity will never be accepted from them. If Allah had accepted their charity and good deeds or the charity they gave to people, He would have emphasized that the religions they believed in were true and that there were other religions besides Islam, and that each tribe had its own way of worship and that Allah consented to what they worshipped.
However, there is no religion left on earth except Islam. Since the Psalms, Torah and Injeel are in the Qur'an, the four Books are the Qur'an. Allah has collected all religions in the Qur'an. In this respect, He has united all religions with Islam with the verse (inneddine indAllahil Islam). Since the Psalms, Torah and Injeel were given to these Prophets by taking verses from the Qur'an, those who followed these Prophets at the time were of the Islamic nature. When reason took over and the age was reached when there would be no more Prophets, Allah (swt) gathered all religions under Islam by sending the Holy Qur'an with His Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
The things that they invented and worshipped as religion under other beliefs are the cruelty of such people to their own souls. Their charity and charity will never be accepted from them, and charity and charity given in the name of other than the name of Allah will become a burden of sin for them.
Because these are the people who have gone astray. They are the ones who follow the footsteps of Shaytan by deifying their own souls. All their good deeds have been in vain.
What is said in the video
Surah At-Tawbah, verse 53 Say: whether you give willingly or unwillingly. Before moving on to this verse, some feelings come to me; that too I'm obliged to tell you. There are those who listen to me here in the guise of a hodja too; to such people what I say is hard to take, and because it's hard, they leave and go away not only them; it's hard for those who read the book too, it doesn't suit them it doesn't suit them; do you know what they say? we're finished, what will we do? yes, those who read the tafsir say that too: we're finished, what will we do? don't these words of theirs prove that this book is true?
Don't they prove that they themselves are false? And with talk like this, don't they hold themselves as witness before Allah, those around and people? So, human, use your right. Why do you worship? To earn your Lord's mercy. Your Lord's mercy, the straight path (?), abiding by (?), do not leave your own self subject to injustice.
Yes.
Say: whether you give willingly or unwillingly, charity will never be accepted from you.
But they do give. Hodja, Now look at the verse.
The verse seems as if it contradicts itself. Let's read the verse. Say: whether you give willingly or unwillingly, charity will never be accepted from you. For you have become a people who went astray, it says. Hodja, now there was a verse of Allah Almighty. What was the verse? If this were made up by man, there would be many words in it that don't agree with each other.
Isn't that so? Well, now in the verse also: Femen ya'mel miskâle zerretin hayran yerah. The atom's weight of good you do is written. This is not only for the Muslim. For people in the whole world. Ve men ya'mel miskâle zerretin şerran yerah. An atom's weight of evil is written too. Now according to this verse, does this person not do a meritorious deed by giving charity? He does. Isn't it written? It is written. And the verse says: it will not be accepted from you. Truly, it is not accepted. So in people, having no knowledge about the verses, if he uses his head according to the verses, a person: your charity isn't accepted. Don't give, he says.
This, in this verse: this verse proves the following verse. All the good deeds you have done have gone to waste. Yes, if all good deeds go to waste, this means the charity was not accepted. The charity was not accepted. If Allah Almighty had accepted the charity, since there is the light of faith in it, He would take him out of hell. The charity is not accepted. It is written. It is written as reward. All the good deeds you've done have gone to waste, it says. Because you departed as disbelievers. So it has not been accepted.
How beautifully the verses support one another. What did we say? With one verse we go around the whole Quran. With one verse. Because all the verses confirm one another. Yes.
Polytheists, hypocrites, those who worship holding any belief other than Islam: since the charity they give and the good deeds they do are not for Allah's sake, not for Allah's sake, such good deeds and charities are never accepted from them. Not for Allah, for show. For their false beliefs. For what they give to the idols (?), you know, for their idols. The charities of those who say Allah is three. These are not for Allah. For their own nafs-driven feelings. So with these, even if they have done good to people — good: all the good deeds they did have gone to waste. according to that verse, their good deeds are not accepted.
Yes. If Allah had not accepted the good deeds they did or the charities people gave, then that the religion they believe in is also true, and that there are religions other than Islam, that every people has its own form of worship, Allah Almighty prove — these — Allah would have emphasised that with what they worship He is pleased. If He had accepted their charities. Yes. Here we have explained this in another sense too.
The sense isn't bad either. Because the good deeds they did are for their own religion, their own nation, and since this verse says: unless you turn to them, unless you are with them, they will never be with you; since they will never become Muslim, the good deeds they do within their own beliefs are not acceptable to Allah. Yes. Whereas no religion other than Islam has remained on earth. Since the Psalms, the Torah and the Gospel are in the Quran, the four books are the Quran. Allah gathered all religions in the Quran.
Yes.
For this reason, with the verse İnne'd-dîne inda'llâhi'l-İslâm, all religions have been united with Islam. In fact, since for the Psalms, the Torah and the Gospel verses were gradually taken from the Quran and given to these prophets, those who followed these prophets in their time are also upon the fitra of Islam.
When minds came into play and the age in which no prophet would come again was reached, with the Beloved of the Almighty, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), too, Allah Almighty, by sending the Noble Quran, gathered all religions in Islam. So what they made up as religion under other beliefs, the things they worship, are such people's injustices against their own selves. Just as the good deeds and charities they did are never accepted from them, the charities given and good deeds done for other than Allah's name, too, will turn into a burden of sin for them. A burden of sin. Because these are peoples who went astray.
They are those who follow Satan's footsteps by deifying their own selves. Yes.
