To satisfy you, they (come to you and) take an oath by Allah with you. If they are mu’min, it is more truthful to satisfy Allah and Allah’s Messenger.
Tafsir
The hypocrites and disbelievers, in order to appear to be from the Muslims and to gain their consent, swear by Allah in the name of Allah and declare that they are on the side of Islam, using various tongues and words. However, these are people who have no oaths. They are disbelievers and hypocrites who do not recognize Allah and His Messenger and do not believe in the Hereafter. The oaths of such people do not count as oaths.
Therefore, Allah addressed these hypocrites: If these were believers, that is to say, if they were believers as they tell you, then surely they would be truthful. In that case, if they were believers, they would be people who recognize Allah and His Messenger, who do not seek help from others for their benefit, and who rely and trust in Allah alone. Instead of trying to please others, they would seek to please Allah and His Messenger, and would present their needs to Allah alone.
Had these hypocrites been believers, they would not have come to the Muslims and tried to please you with their mouths. They would not swear in the name of Allah. If they were the people they say they are, they would have taken their place on the side of Islam with their worship and worship, with their behavior and actions, and with the mistakes of their brothers in Islam. In this way, they would not even need to prove that they are Muslims by their behavior and actions, and they would not even need to please Muslims with their mouths. Instead of trying to please their opponents, they would try to please Allah and His Messenger.
What is said in the video
To win your approval they come to you and swear by Allah. Who are they? The hypocrites. To win your approval they swear falsely by Allah. That is, they call Him as witness to their oaths. If they are believers, it would be more right for them to please Allah and His Messenger, it says. Yes, if you are a believer, that is, in Allah and His Messenger if you have believed, don't try to win the Prophet's approval at all, don't attempt to (?) Allah, do what he says, what he says.
The hypocrites and unbelievers, appearing to be among the Muslims, in order to win their approval swear in Allah's name with all kinds of (?) and words, declaring that they are on the side of Islam.
Yet these are people whose oaths count for nothing. That is, Allah does not accept their oaths anyway. Because they are non-Muslims. These have no oaths. That is, do not believe them, it says. Just as Satan has no oath. For me, he says, an oath is the amusement of my heart, he says. Satan. Yes.
Because these do not recognize Allah and His Messenger, do not believe in the hereafter; they are unbelievers and hypocrites. The oaths of such people do not count as oaths either. For this reason Allah, addressing these hypocrites: if they are believing people – yes.
That is, the meaning here: if they were believing people as they tell you, then surely they would be among those who speak the truth. In that case, had they been believers, they would have been people who recognize Allah and His Messenger, who for their own interest expect no help from others, who rely and trust in Allah alone. They would carry out what Allah's Messenger says. To please Allah's Messenger, they would not put Allah in between and with an oath try to call our Lord as witness. Yes, instead of trying to please others, they would try to please Allah and His Messenger and bring their needs to Allah alone.
Yes, had these hypocrites been believers, they would not come to the Muslims and try to please you with their mouths. They would not swear in Allah's name. Had they been people as they say, then with their obedience and worship, their conduct and behaviour, with (?) of their brother in Islam, they would take their place beside Islam. Thus, with this behaviour and conduct of theirs, they would not even need to prove that they are Muslim, or to please the Muslims with their mouths. Instead of pleasing those in front of them, they would try to please Allah and His Messenger. Yes, a hypocrite comes to you – what does he say? For his own interest he brings forward Allah and His Messenger. Do not bring forward Allah and His Messenger; if you love Allah and His Messenger, show conduct and behaviour that please Allah, attitudes, so that Allah too, according to your conduct, may show you His mercy; anyway, in that case, if you had turned to your Lord, to your believing brother, to please him, let him not call Allah and His Messenger as witness.
Yes. In your speech, it says, do not call Allah as witness, it says. That is the verse. In your speech, in your oaths, it says, do not call Allah as witness. Yes. But sadly, no one carries this out either.
A person must train his tongue. He must train it not to call Allah and His Messenger as witness. If you do not take me as a person and do not believe what I say, then even if I called Allah and His Messenger as witness, you still would not believe. So, just as they called the Prophet (peace be upon him) Muhammedü'l-Emin, they believed him – he did not call Allah as witness in his oaths. Even before he became a prophet they called him Muhammedü'l-Emin; so you too should conduct yourself in such a way that you become trustworthy too, and people believe your words without your having to swear to anyone.
Ah, they don't believe. If they don't believe, everyone has a fate, and within that fate a way of life. And you are not going to change that way of life. Allah Almighty says in His verse: enjoin what is right. You will have reminded him once. You will have enjoined what is right. He may believe if he wishes, or not believe if he wishes. Allah Almighty does not say: you must swear oaths to make him believe. On the contrary, what does He say? Do not call Allah as witness in your oaths, He says. Yes, that is, do not swear.
