But the Prophet and those who believed with him have fought/struggled with their possessions and their lives. All goodness is theirs and they are the ones who attained salvation.
Tafsir
People who know that this world is a place of testing, who realize that they were created by Allah, whose hearts tremble at the mention of Allah, who compete with each other to fulfill Allah's commands, who struggle with their wealth and their lives, who submit to all of Allah's commands in the realm of the unseen, Allah will reward those who win their test in the sight of Allah, who obey Him, until they are pleased with Him. Since Allah does not need anything, He has created what He has created for human beings. Whatever these distinguished people ask Allah for, Allah will fulfill what they ask Allah for, saying that all good is theirs. Even more than that, He will give them what they need but do not know, and He will also give them out of His grace and bounty.
This is salvation. Salvation from the troubles of this world, from sorrow and gloom, is temporary. It will finally end with death. Salvation is salvation from the eternal torment of the Hereafter. Because the Hereafter is eternal. It is a place of life with no more death.

Surah At-Tawbah, verse 88: But the Prophet and those who believed with him waged jihad with their wealth and their lives. All good things are theirs, and they are the ones who attain salvation.
So the Prophet and those who believed with him — with him, that is, with the Prophet believed — in whom? Those who believe in Allah. How beautifully Allah Almighty puts it. But the prophets and those who believed with him. Here it does not necessarily mean only the Messenger of Allah. When it says prophets — but the Prophet — all prophets are meant too. And those who believed with him, the believers. Yes. They waged jihad with their wealth and their lives. All good things are theirs. And they are the ones who attain salvation.
Allah Almighty covers them all. He says the religion is Islam, doesn't He: inne'd-dîne inda'llâhi'l-İslâm. According to this verse, in all the prophets, in the prophets who came — from the Torah, the Psalms, the Gospel, the prophets who brought them, and in the earlier prophets — those who believed and lived with them, believing in the same Allah, who fought alongside them, waged jihad, who believed in the prophets as servants and messengers of their Lord. These are the ones who attain salvation. Those who find joy, find salvation. Here Allah Almighty includes all of them. People who know this world is a place of testing, who grasp that they were created by Allah, whose hearts tremble when Allah is mentioned, who compete with one another to fulfill Allah's commands, who wage jihad with their wealth and their lives, who in the unseen realm bow to all of Allah Almighty's commands, to those who win their test in Allah's sight, to those who obey His essence, He will give until they are pleased.
Allah Almighty. He will give until they are pleased. What does it say in the verse too? O soul that has found rest, until your Lord with you and you with your Lord are pleased — yes, well pleased, your Lord too pleased with you and you pleased with your Lord, enter My paradise, it says; you, with your Lord well pleased — that is, whatever you wish He will give you, nothing is missing, in Allah's sight, in the Hereafter. Yes.
Since Allah has no need of anything, He has created what He created for people. When it says all good things are theirs, what does Allah Almighty say? İnnâ a'taynâke'l-kevser. To you, the head of all good things, I (?), He says. The head of good things. They call all that Kevser, they call it a river in paradise, but actually it is goodness. What does the Messenger of Allah being the head of good things mean? Because he came as a mercy to the worlds, because he came to perfect good character, because all was completed through him, he is the head of good things. The head of good things. And the others attain these good things.
They attain the good things he sent. In that case, since those people are not prophets, when He judges them by the good things the Prophet brought, what does He say about good things? Allah Almighty (?): so these good things are theirs. So all good things are theirs. When it says all good things: all those good things that came, portion by portion, according to the conduct people displayed, however much good He sent, the people judged along with those good things shared these good things. The good things. Of course people are not robots; since they do not all complement each other in one way, or do not have the same idea, the same mindset, the same characters, and since good things are very diverse too, everyone sought those good things according to his own nature.
So all good things — that is, whatever Allah sent, whatever good He sent — these persons sought those good things and attained the mercy of their Lord. Yes.
When it says all good things are theirs: whatever these distinguished people wished from Allah, Allah will bring their wishes into being. Even more: what people need but do not know, and moreover, from His own grace and generosity, He will bestow on these people abundantly.
This is salvation. Salvation. Now let us suppose this.
Let us suppose the world is a prison. A prison.
A comparison is no fault. Allah forbid. The world is a prison anyway. Let us be in a prison. The prison director says: those who, while living in this prison, behave like this, this, this and this, as a reward we will release outside the prison. That is, we will give him his freedom.
In that prison, those who carry out what that prison director said — what do they do? They are (?), and that prison director (?) the freedom of the people who carried out what he said. The others, the others stay, having done what they said. After all, a prison. Allah Almighty, what does He tell us? If you (?) My command, I will (?) paradise for you. What is in paradise? My (?) and (?), my freedom in my hand (?), what does my Lord say? I will give until you are pleased, He says. Until you are pleased. What is my freedom? (?). My freedom is your living. So in this world, if I fulfill the command of my Lord, the Creator, in the realm, in the realm (?), of what my Lord promised, (?) I attain. And the other is taken (?) as his Lord said, so that (?) I attain. And the other is taken (?) as his Lord said, so that just like what the prison director in this world said as he wrote, just as their freedom is not in their hands, in the Hereafter too, when they are left with no one, their freedom taken from them, sentenced to punishment, they will be confined in eternal hell.
Yes.
May Allah, from such an end, us from what we hope, from what we fear, yes.
