Then We drowned the others.
Tafsir
When Pharaoh and his army dived into the pores opened in the sea in order to follow and catch Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm', Allah (swt) drowned them in the water while they were advancing in the middle of the sea. When the pores opened in the sea and came together again, these people perished in the sea.
When Allah (swt) said to Pharaoh, "I will leave you as a memorial to the worlds," the British started a search in the Red Sea in the part of the world where this incident took place, according to this verse. They found Pharaoh's lifeless body and put it in their museum.
Allah, the Almighty, tells us about the events of the past, that the past and eternity are eternal. Nevertheless, people do not take lessons from these situations and continue to rebel and be ungrateful to Allah. That is to say, they eat and drink what Allah has provided and do not give thanks to Allah, and they associate partners with Allah.
What is said in the video
In Surah Ash-Shu'ara, verse 66: Then We drowned the others, it says. That is, Pharaoh — when the seas closed, they — when those mountain-like seas here closed, what happens to them? They drown there and are gone. Pursuing Moses (peace be upon him) to catch him, having plunged into the openings in the sea, Pharaoh and his army were advancing in the middle of the sea when Allah Almighty drowned them. When the openings in the sea joined together again, these people perished inside the sea and were gone. When Allah Almighty said of Pharaoh, "I will leave you to the worlds," the English, based on this verse, in the part of the Red Sea where this event took place, started a search.
They found Pharaoh's lifeless body and took it to their museums. On a rock, Pharaoh's body in a position of prostration. And they lifted him out of that prostration and laid him on his side. So Allah, informing us of all past ages that He is everlasting, without beginning or end, narrates the events that took place. Despite this, people take no lesson from these things and still go on rebelling against Allah and being ungrateful. That is, they eat and drink the provision Allah gives and do not thank Allah, and moreover they associate partners with Allah. Yes. As we said, what does Allah Almighty say?
Let's read the last paragraph once more. So Allah, informing us of all past ages that He is everlasting, without beginning or end, narrates the events that took place. Despite this, people in this situation. Taking no lesson, they still go on rebelling against Allah and being ungrateful. That is, they eat and drink the provision Allah gives and do not thank Allah. And moreover they associate partners with Allah.
