Translation

Indeed, there is a lesson in this. But most do not believe.

Tafsir

Allah (swt) tells people about the miracles He has created. He makes the people of that time experience these events and He also tells them to the people who will come until the Day of Judgment. This is because people, like copies of each other, soon forget Allah's calamities and turn their backs on Allah. So the Children of Israel, despite being saved from Pharaoh and his oppression and seeing so many miracles, said that they would not believe until they saw Allah face to face. The fact that they worshipped the calf made by a Copt named Samiri when Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' ascended Mount Tur shows how they disobeyed Allah. In this respect, both among the Children of Israel and among the people who will come until the Day of Judgment, there will be disbelievers who will soon forget Allah despite seeing such miracles. Even though Allah (swt) has made His existence manifest amongst the people, they still do not believe in Allah (swt) using their intellect.

What is said in the video

In verse 67, surely in this there is a lesson, He says. In this there is a lesson, but most of them are not believers, He says. So Allah Almighty shows people lessons to take. Allah Almighty is very patient; He has the attribute of patience anyway. He does not destroy people all at once. He gives them time. He waits for them to turn to Him so that He may forgive their sins. Now, Allah Almighty created people deficient anyway. That is, He created them deficient in mind. He created them fallible. If you had not committed errors, He says, I would destroy you and create servants who commit errors. So when we are deficient in mind, when we err, and we know our helplessness and see our Lord as the Creator, take refuge in Him and ask for pardon and forgiveness, because this fits Allah Almighty's purpose in creating, He forgives our sins too.

In this case Allah Almighty says, surely there is a lesson in this, He says. He shows us some calamities too. Calamities. If within these calamities we use our minds and from the lessons, from those calamities, we can take lessons, we attain salvation. That is, we attain the mercy of our Lord. If we cannot take a lesson from it, just as He shows Pharaoh many miracles, the miracles I mentioned, the locusts, the drought, blood, turning the water into blood, although He brought about many miracles, when he still persisted in his (?) claim, in the end he drowns in the water. Now Allah Almighty gives us many lessons to learn from as well.

Now pay attention. You watch it on television. Rains keep falling. These rains, pay attention, a hundred kilograms, seventy kilograms, ninety kilograms of rain fall on a square metre, floods break out. That is how it falls, with storms or with hail. But in the past it did not fall like that. How did it fall? Mercy would fall; they call it mercy, after all. Drop by drop onto our gardens, and the soil would drink its fill of water. Let me tell you, our vegetables, our fruits would flourish and grow green. Now it comes down in blows.

Why does it happen like that? Can we think about it? If we (?) what Allah has given and turn our backs on Him, if we do not thank Allah, in this case, they do not observe the verse on covering. If we walk around stark naked, with our private parts showing. For the sake of the good people among them who are honoured with the light of faith, Allah Almighty gives some calamities like this. O you people you call Muslims, He says. People who live saying I am a Muslim, for the sake of that word "I am a Muslim" I give you a calamity like this. Wake up, He says. Wake up. Wake up. Come to your senses. Return to the Truth.

But no one understands this. They do not understand. Our forefathers used to say this: Along with the dry, the green burns too. When Allah Almighty is going to send them a calamity, our prayer is: O Allah, keep us apart from them. Yes. That is why these events, to people, rationally, are called natural events. Well, when He drowned Pharaoh in the sea, was that a natural event? The peoples who perished when Allah's punishment came, were those natural events? But as long as a person does not speak the truth, does not say it came from Allah, let him call it a natural event and brush it off. Three people, five people, fifty people, a thousand people died, it's nothing, he says.

He himself is alive, after all; he will go on with his life. Yes.

We have come to Surah Ash-Shu'ara, verse 67. Surely in this there is a lesson, but most of them are not believers.

Allah Almighty tells people about the miracles He created. He has the people of that time live through these events, and He has also told them to the people who will come until the Day of Judgement. Because people, like copies of one another, quickly forget the calamities Allah has given, and turn their backs on Allah. This sentence of mine corresponds to this verse.

Although only a little time had passed since the past peoples, since the peoples I destroyed, how they came to resemble their forefathers, He says. Yes, although only a little time had passed since the peoples I destroyed, how they came to resemble their forefathers. And what do we say in response to that verse? Because people, like copies of one another, quickly forget the calamities Allah has given, and turn their backs on Allah. So the Children of Israel too, although they were saved from Pharaoh and his tyranny, and despite so many miracles, despite having seen so many miracles, said: unless we see Allah face to face, we will not believe.

The Children of Israel are a very unmanly people. They are the fitnah of the earth, and a cursed people.

Right now in the Middle East, in Northern Iraq's referendum affair, although the world opposed Northern Iraq, to light the fire of fitnah there, with the instructions the Children of Israel had given them, they tried to carry out the referendum. But in the world their referendum has no validity. And a fire of fitnah has been lit there. Yes. Such a people of fitnah they are. The fitnah of the earth.

I think, as Allah Almighty says, just as the first time they searched for you between the houses and destroyed you, the second, that is, just as they blackened your faces, He says, the second time too, He says, they will search for you like this and blacken your faces, He says. I suppose they are knitting their own calamity onto their own heads. That is how it seems to me. What does it say? Unless we see Allah face to face, we will not believe, they said. When Moses (peace be upon him) went up Mount Sinai, their worship of the calf made by a Copt named Samiri shows how they opposed Allah. In this respect, both from among the Children of Israel and from among the people who will come until the Day of Judgement, despite seeing such miracles, there will arise deniers who will soon forget Allah.

Although Allah Almighty makes His existence manifest (?) among people, people still do not believe in Allah by using their minds. Allah Almighty sent us to an unseen world. That is, in this world it is not possible for us to see Allah Almighty with our eyes and perceive Him. Because it is an unseen world, He says. There is no deficiency in Allah's word. In this case, despite their talking like this, we will see them in the later verses. Allah Almighty sends them a thunderbolt. And that thunderbolt kills them. After He showed them His being, they had now gone to the realm of the hereafter. He brings them back to life. He shows them this much grace.

But see, in the address of Elestü bi-Rabbiküm: Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Ve iz ehaze Rabbüke… Elestü bi-Rabbiküm. Those who, in that address of Elestü bi-Rabbiküm, gave their covenant as people of the left. Ve ashabü'l-meymeneti ma ashabü'l-meymeneh. Ve ashabü'l- meş'emeti ma ashabü'l-meş'emeh. If the people of the left, to whom He says woe to you, gave their covenant like that and had their destiny written like that, it is impossible for them to return to the Truth. Even if you brought the two worlds together, they still will not return. The two worlds will come together. When? Just as he denied in this world, he will be raised in the hereafter.

In the second world too he will again deny Allah. If only they had known Me here, He says. Because that is destiny. Even though they say, we came, we saw, is there no return to this world, they are not going to change their destiny. They will again return to the same nature. A person's... say this video of me talking, whichever video you watch it in, you will always watch the same thing. You will watch the same words. Well, a person's life is programmed like this, and according to his covenant the characters are written, and the person plays his scenario in the world the way he had it written there.

Now if you sent him back to the world, that world would close again. That person is the same again. He will do the same deeds. When he enters Hell, too, he will not recognise Allah Almighty. Even if he seems to recognise Him, when he enters there, what does he say in Hell? To Malik. Malik is the keeper of Hell. O Malik, tell your Lord to lighten the punishment on us a little, to lift it, they will say. "Your Lord": he will still be waiting for the Lord of his imaginings. And Allah Almighty says, they will not see their Lord. That is, he imagined it. There is no other god besides Allah. So how would they see that Lord they imagined?

And with this verse Allah Almighty also symbolises tawhid. La ilahe illallah. Yes. Let someone just once give his covenant as a denier. And what does Allah Almighty say to the Prophet? My beloved, do not mind their denying you, do not grieve. In their time they betrayed Me too, He says. Yes.
