They put effort to prevent people from coming close to the Messenger and they distance themselves as well. However, they only destroy themselves, but they don’t realize.
Tafsir
Those who are enemies of Allah and the Prophet, those who deny the Holy Quran, these people try to discourage people from approaching the Prophet. At the same time they themselves move away from Allah and the Prophet. There is no human being who can change the destiny of people who have made a covenant with Allah (swt) or change their own destiny. Allah (swt) says to them, "They only destroy themselves without realizing it," meaning that every human being has his own covenant written in his nature. No one can act outside of his natural destiny and change it. Those who are incapable of realizing these things can only lead people like themselves astray and lead them into disbelief.
They do not apply to people whose hearts are full of faith and whose hearts are filled with the love of Allah and the light of Islam. In one of the verses of the Qur'an, Allah (swt) says, "The temptation of Satan is ignorant to my servant who knows me". People who make their covenant as rebellious and adopt evil ways, because they like the temptation of Satan, they immediately adopt it and follow Satan. People who say Allah, who have been blessed with the light of Allah, may also be tempted by Shaytan, but because their covenant is good, they do not follow Shaytan's footsteps and do not engage in sinful ways.
Those who are enemies of Allah and His Messenger, like Satan's temptation, they will only increase their disbelief in the sight of Allah by completing their mission of leading people away from Allah and His Messenger by circulating among their fellow human beings. They drag their own souls to destruction by incurring the wrath of Allah in the Hereafter.
What is said in the video
Let us open it, if you like: the 26th verse.
They both try to turn people away from approaching the Prophet, and themselves move away from him. Yet without realizing it, they only destroy themselves, it says. Now how beautiful the verses are; look, one after another, within the Sharia ruling, our Lord speaks. But people interpreted the one above wrongly. The verse above. They attributed it to Allah. To Allah. What does it say here? They try to turn people away from approaching the Prophet. Here now, Allah's will over them is not present. Now these use their own will. But there, Allah Almighty used His own will over them, prevented them from understanding.
And don't these contradict each other now? But when we open them, the verses all complete one another. Yes. So there is no going outside the Sharia ruling. Even the inner meaning — all of it is within the Sharia ruling. Yes. What does it say now? They both try to turn people away from approaching the Prophet and themselves move away from him. Yet without realizing it, they only destroy themselves. Now, if here Allah Almighty had said, We are moving them away from there, Allah Almighty would again take on an attribute. He would have discriminated among His servants. But what does it say? They move away, it says.
And those who would come to the truth, it says, they hinder, it says. You see. So a person, with his partial will, by the decisions he himself made, by the actual deeds he did, earns reward and sin. Yes, İsmail.
Those who are enemies of Allah and the Prophet. Those who set out to deny the Noble Quran. These people both try to turn people away from approaching the Prophet, and themselves move away from Allah and the Prophet. They do it themselves; Allah and the Prophet are not pushing them away from themselves. Yes. There is no one who could change the destinies of people who made a covenant with Allah Almighty or their own destinies. So look, there in that world of spirits, in that world of Lahut, when we were created, when our Lord said, I am your Lord, the division into three groups.
Those on the right — glad tidings to them, it says.
Those on the left — woe to them, it says. Ve's-sâbikûne's-sâbikûn, ülâike'l-mukarrabûn, fî cennâti'n-naîm. A third group, it says, is the group of the foremost. Now Allah Almighty, who made a covenant with each one of them one by one — among the billions of people coming to earth, from our father Adam to the end, until the Day of Judgment, with people — how long it lasted, Allah knows best — He made a covenant with all of them one by one.
All their desires and wishes, their aims — without Himself in any way pressuring or coercing — everyone's desires and wishes He gave to them as destiny. How do you know? I know. I lived that world. Yes. That is why I know from there that people with Allah Almighty made a covenant one by one. And while making the covenant, He also helps the person. Come, do it like this. Or come, do it like that. But categorically, going outside his thinking, to him He adds (?) a character from Himself. Whatever he desires, He gives him that. Yes. This is the covenant.
Allah Almighty, addressing them: Yet without realizing it, they only destroy themselves. Because their covenant there was not to recognize Allah Almighty. Meaning: each person's own covenant is written for him as his nature. No one, no one can act by going outside his destiny, which is his nature, and change it. Look, we write it definitively anyway; these are certain. Because they are worlds that were seen. We just read it — who opens these, who can open these verses? Unless you complete the journey through those worlds within yourself, it is not possible for you to open them. Yes.
No one can act by going outside his destiny, which is his nature, and change it. Those who are deprived of grasping this, people like themselves they only lead astray, and act as leaders of disbelief to them.
People like themselves — take care, tonight is New Year's Eve — only people like themselves they lead astray. Only those who follow them, who follow the leaders of disbelief, go astray. Only those who rebel against Allah, who are in rebellion, whose faith is weak, on this night come close to disbelief. Take care. We are honourable people. Because of our Lord's spirit, "We created very honourable." Whoever that — that spirit of his, which is a part from Allah, in a manner worthy of our Lord's glory does not use, they deserve destruction, punishment in the world of the Hereafter. Yes.
Over people whose hearts are full of faith, of the love of Allah, honoured with the light of Islam, these have no sway. Yes, their sway is void. The temptation of Satan — as He says, to My servant who knows Me (?) — to those whose hearts are filled with faith, full of love and affection for Allah, the leaders of disbelief's gilded words, and those who make the leaders of disbelief stars, calling them stars — those who make stars, their states — "I have frontiers like breasts full of faith," said Mehmet Akif — and over such people these have no sway.
So in a verse Allah Almighty says: to My servant who knows Me, Satan's temptation is (?), He says.
People who gave their covenant as rebels and adopt evil ways — since Satan's temptation pleases them, they adopt it at once and follow Satan. To people who say Allah, who are honoured with Allah's light, Satan's temptations come too, yet since their covenants are good, these people do not resort to these evil ways, to deeds that earn sin, and do not follow Satan's trail either. Yes.
These are the enemies of Allah and His Messenger. Like Satan's temptation, they too, going about among their own kind, turning people away from Allah and His Messenger, completing that task, only increase, in Allah's sight, their own disbelief. Earning Allah's attribute of wrath in the Hereafter, they drag their own nafs to destruction.
May Allah protect us from such an end.
