Who is more oppressive than the one who, with lies, slanders Allah and denies verses? Verily, those who continue with being oppressors cannot find salvation.

Tafsir

Because people are created incomplete and faulty, people may lie to satisfy their own ego when they should not lie at all. Or they may lie because they are ashamed of someone else and their work is incomplete. And with the lies they tell, they become sinners.

Accordingly, some people, for various reasons, want to justify themselves with lies or to say that they are doing the right thing, when they should not lie at all, because their souls have not reached maturity. As long as such people do not renounce their faith and turn away from Allah and His Messenger, they will be sinners by their actions and the lies they speak. And they are unjust to their souls.

But their punishment will be left to Allah on the Day of Judgment. Such people will be saved if they repent and continue in worship and if their good deeds are more than their sins, they will be saved. If his sins are too many, even if he goes to hell, he will eventually be punished there and one day he will come out of hell, out of that place of torment.

There are other people who have turned away from Allah and His Messenger, who have rebelled against Allah, who have ascribed shirk to Him, the One and only Allah, who have said that Jesus is the son of Allah, who have falsified the Books sent by Allah, and who have said lies of their own invention instead of the word of Allah, saying that Allah said so, No one can be as cruel and unjust to their own souls as those who falsely deny the existence of Allah, even though they are far away from Allah and in the mire of disbelief, saying that they are the beloved servants of Allah. If they repent while they complete their life on earth, until the moment of their death, they will be granted Allah's mercy, even if it is late, for Allah's forgiveness is abundant. But if they die in that state, they will be subjected to the eternal cruelty and torment of eternal life. They will have no helpers or intercessors. For when Allah's help is cut off for the wrongdoers, they will find no helpers with them, and they will not be able to escape Allah's justice, so they will not be saved from the torment and will not be granted mercy. And when they realize that they will not be able to escape from Hell, they will cry out: "O destruction, where are you! So they will seek death, but since there is no more death in eternal life, they will remain in eternal torment.

And those who turn away from Allah and His Messenger and slander them with falsehood, saying, "Allah and His Messenger said this, when Allah and His Messenger did not say it," are wrongdoers and wrongdoers against their souls.

May Allah (swt) protect the Ummah of Muhammad from this torment, and may He grant reform and guidance to the people who are not Muslims.

What is said in the video

To our lesson: Surah Al-An'am, verse 21. Who is more unjust than one who slanders Allah with lying words, or than those who deny the verses? Who is more unjust than those who deny the verses? So the unjust people are those who turned their backs on Allah's verses, deifying their own nafs, in a manner unworthy of human honour, dignity and self-respect acting, people who fall into a state that even animals do not, of which He says (?) more astray, more astray than animals, He says. Can these be commanded? Can one be judged by what these do? Are they commanded, and does a person live those lives?

Look what the Conqueror Mehmed says: whoever cuts a single green branch from my forests, his head I will cut off, he says. You, (?), tear out the pine trees from the forest while they are saplings, tear and bring them, light them up. Then, in a world of fantasy, wait for your Father Christmas, forget Allah, do not ask Him, ask your Father Christmas. Is this Islam now? Is this, envying the filth that the kafir, the non-Muslim, does, and (?) it, is this Islam? Yes. Do not chase after such false beliefs, states that flatter the nafs. Even Satan, Satan laughs at them, fears, seeks refuge in Allah from them.

Yes. Yes, is Satan angry at Allah? Look what He says in Allah's noble verse. My Allah, he says, I did not deceive them, I feared You, he says. Look, he says this. The verse, this is the verse. I feared You, he says, I fear. I am free of what they did, he says. They were a rebellious people anyway, he says. Even Satan says this, Satan. Yes. Now, please, our place, let us choose it ourselves. Let us determine our place.

Who is more unjust than those who slander Allah with lying words or deny the verses? There is no doubt that the unjust will not attain salvation, He says. We correct those parts: as long as they are in that state, as long as they continue in that state, they will not attain salvation. What does He say? The unjust cannot attain salvation, He says. As long as they continue in that state; otherwise, among the unjust too there are those who attain salvation. Yes. Of course, those who continue in that state can never attain salvation. Those who die that way and go to the hereafter as non-Muslims. Yes.

Who are these who slander Allah with lying words? Those who alter the verses with lying words, who say "Allah said so," who say the angels are Allah's daughters, who say of Jesus "son of Allah," of Lady Mary (?), Allah forbid; those who slander Allah with lying words: who is more unjust toward his own nafs? So Allah wrongs no one. Know this well. Allah Almighty wrongs no one. The human being wrongs his own nafs. Because he is free in his own will. Never, at any time, does Allah Almighty remove the will of any human from him and use His own will over the human being. If it were so, Allah Almighty, a sovereign abundant in forgiveness and mercy, would abolish hell.

Since paradise and hell are everlasting, the human being, being a part from his Lord, that is, a spirit, with his own will, with his own ability, by the decisions he has made, since he himself is responsible, by the deeds he will do, to the place he has determined before Allah Almighty he will surely arrive one day. Those who deny the hereafter and those who do not, those who take their place beside Allah and those who do not, so to speak, what will they do? Are those who know and those who do not know ever equal, says Allah Almighty. These, in this way, people, as long as they slander Allah, there is no one more unjust toward their own nafs than these.

Why? Even if you wrong me, you kill me, I pass on and go. But what a person does to himself, He says, even if the two worlds came together, they could not do. The reason: because with the free thought and free will he himself gave, for his deeds he earns sin. If he has taken on that load of sin, if he has left the religion of Islam and fallen into the state of a non-Muslim, he will have prepared his place in eternal hell. And also, within the measure and excess of the evil he has done, this (?).

Burning in the fires, Allah forbid. To these, to these, every kind of wrong; in the realm of the hereafter, eternal, people who turn the abode of bliss, eternal, into the abode of punishment; that hell of which He says "what an evil place of return," "what an evil resting place," they will have bought in the world. So Allah did not imprison them in that hell. They themselves, by the wrongs they did to their own nafs, pushed themselves into hell, into that fire, into that punishment.

Yes.

No doubt the other unjust, as long as they continue in that state, as long as they do not enter through Allah's door of repentance, as long as they do not ask for pardon and forgiveness, cannot attain salvation. Yes.

Because human beings were created incomplete and faulty, people, to (?) their own nafs, although they should never lie, may lie. And the Prophet (peace be upon him), and also even (?), says: do not lie. Hold fast to Allah's verses. Hold fast to the sunnahs, he says. Perform the obligations, he says. Yes.

Or, being ashamed before someone else, when there is a shortcoming in his work, he may lie. Out of his shame. And with the lies they tell, these become sinners. Here, we divide our talk into two groups. The first, the first group: Muslims telling lies. We will also explain the lie of the second group. This is the lie of the first group. He is ashamed before people, he lies. So, accordingly they should never lie, but because their nafs has not matured, for various reasons some people want to justify themselves with lies, or to claim that the work they did, they did right. Because the nafs has not matured, they do not accept their helplessness.

But they do not compromise on faith, of course. They never leave Islam. It is just that they become sinners. Such people, as long as they do not abandon their faith, do not turn their faces from Allah and His Messenger, through the deeds they (?), through the lies they speak, become sinners.

These too (?) wrong against their nafs. But their punishment is left to Allah on the Day of Judgement. Everyone's punishment, the deeds he did, his actions, the degree of reward and sin, are determined by Allah. Not by us. We cannot know the degrees of sins. Therefore, as far as possible, since we cannot know which is a major sin and which is a minor sin, we refrain from all sins.

What do we say? But their punishment is left to Allah on the Day of Judgement. Such people become (?). If, by continuing in obedience and worship, their rewards exceed their sins, they attain salvation. If their sins are more, even if they enter hell, finally there, having served their punishment, one day they will come out of hell, that place of punishment. Who will come out? These, if they went as Muslims with faith. When you say "if they went as Muslims with faith, they will come out of this hell," "Look, Metin Hodja too said people will come out of hell and so on" — do not let that cross your mind. Because people twist words a lot.

That is why we stress this point like this. Yes. What did we say further above?

Such people, while not abandoning their faith, what do we say? As long as they do not abandon their faith, do not turn their faces from Allah and His Messenger, they become sinners through the deeds they do and the lies they speak. These too are wrongdoers against their nafs. But their punishment is left to Allah on the Day of Judgement, I say.

If we read carefully, I am speaking of believing Muslims.

There are other people too; now we move on to the second group. Who turned their faces from Allah and His Messenger,

rebelled against Allah,

associated partners with the one Allah,

said that Jesus is the son of Allah, a lie, slandering Allah.

Who made distortions in the books Allah sent, who, instead of Allah's word, saying "Allah said so," their own inventions, lies, spoke, who, although they are far from Allah and in the swamp of kufr, said "we are Allah's beloved servants." People who falsely denied Allah's existence. As much as these. No one can be as unjust and wrongdoing toward their nafs. These. Because they constantly slandered Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty. Yes. These, while completing their lives on earth, if they repent before that moment of death, before the soul reaches the throat, if, in that state, the unjust from injustice turn back: I have erred, I lived an age of ignorance; He who surely created these worlds, and within this power of creation, whose secrets in the human being cannot be solved, surely these are not coincidence and I have grasped that there is a Creator of this. My Allah, You exist, saying this, when he says "forgive me," if he says it with a sincere heart, let us not forget this hadith of the Prophet.

Even if your sins reached the clouds in the sky, when you repent once with a sincere heart, Allah Almighty turns those evil deeds of yours, that is, those sins, into good, that is, into reward, he says.

Does Allah, so abundant in mercy, forgiveness and pardon, want property and possessions from you? Anyway, He says, if We asked it of you, you would be stingy, He says. Many of you would be reluctant, He says. Yes. He speaks the truth.

He, your Lord, has no need of even an atom of what He created. He (?), and withdrew from there too. He separated from those created with time and space. So that it is not said that Allah has need of time and space. So Allah, who withdrew from time and space, who established His sovereignty where there is no time and space, and who gives life to those within that time and space, has mercy. He has forgiveness too. His mercy (?). He is very compassionate toward His servants. Just say "Allah." Yes, say "Allah." However many sins you have. Be honoured with the religion of Islam. Recite the declaration of faith.

Repent of all the sins you have committed, and you will find your Lord abundantly forgiving. That is what our Lord says. Not me. Yes.

What does He say? These, while (?) on earth, if they repent before that moment of death, before the soul reaches the throat, since Allah's pardon is abundant, even if late, they attain Allah's mercy. Even if late.

If they die upon (?), if they die in that state. If. If people die in a (?) state.

Now I want to stress this point.

It will be better if we read from the Noble Quran. Yes.

Surah Al-Waqi'ah, verse 83: Idha balaghati'l-hulqum. Well, He says, when the soul reaches the throat, and antum hina'idhin tanzurun: at that time you stand looking on, He says. When the soul reaches the throat.

Yes. Wa nahnu aqrabu ilayhi minkum wa lakin la tubsirun. Since you are not going to be punished, He says, then the soul, if you could turn it back, if you are truthful in your claim, He says. But if he is of those close to Allah, He says; before coming to this here, we stop at this point: at that moment the door of repentance has closed, the door of repentance has closed. The realm of the hereafter is shown to him. That is, the moment (?), the hereafter is seen.

Then: my Allah, send me back. Look how I will worship You, he says. (?) is a lie too. Why a lie?

If you saw how the angels, striking their faces and eyes and backs, take their souls, He says. In the face of that hardship they say: send me back once more, look how I will worship You. But a journey begins to a realm from which there is no return. A journey. Even if We sent you back not once but several more times, you would do the same thing again, He says. The reason: Allah Almighty, who created us back in Allah's realm and at that address "Alastu bi Rabbikum" made a covenant with each one of us, wrote our wishes and desires, our will, as destiny for ourselves, and placed in us the characters that will play in those destinies, and since no one, not even we ourselves, can change those characters.

(?) In this case, even if we came back not once but thousands of times more, we would do the same thing again. So when we pass on to the hereafter in that state, that we would do the same thing is in the noble verse. When they see that punishment, the sinners will say to Malik: O Malik, tell your Lord to lighten the punishment on us a little. they will say. Yes. His answer to that too: while you were in the world, did your prophets not remind you that you would come here? Yes. They reminded us, but we, they say, were in rebellion. So, He says, Allah: they bring their own deeds to testimony with their tongues, He says. They prove their liars, their lying, He says.

Yes.

And (?), if they die in that state, then these, to the eternal (?) and punishment of eternal life, remain subject. Now these, these have neither any helpers nor any intercessors. The reason: in the noble verse Allah Almighty (?). My mercy in the universe for everyone; in the hereafter only (?) of the people from whom He cut off His mercy, no person, even if he is his father, even if his most beloved, his dearest, will intercede for anyone from whom Allah cut off His mercy nor stand behind them; they will abandon them and go. Even prophets: like Abraham's father; as Abraham will turn aside from his father and go; as Noah will turn aside from his son and go.

Yes. So there, to the people from whom Allah cut off His mercy, no person will give either help or intercession. So, since they are also deprived of their Lord's mercy, they are alone and without anyone. Hodja, how can they be without anyone? They had their gangs too, did they not? Are they not all together? Together, but enemies of one another. You did this, you did this to me, you led me along, you plotted night and day, you made promises to me, they say, and: my Allah, give these this much more punishment. Give these that much more punishment, they say. And those say: we had no superiority over you; you were a rebellious people. So here there is no unity and togetherness either.

Anyway, Allah Almighty says (?), their hearts are restless and scattered. There, all the more restless and scattered. When they see that punishment. Yes. There you have it: without anyone and alone. Poor people. Let them use their minds a little. A little. Is it worth it? The wealth of this world, its splendour, (?) such a punishment. By Allah, even if they adorned the world with (?) gold works, with chrysolites and emeralds, even if they put all who live on this world under my command, under my command, even if they brought me as much of the world again (?), by Allah and by Allah, I would not exchange it for a speck of the realm of the hereafter.

Because here I own nothing. Surely I will depart and go.

What does Allah Almighty say? Every soul will taste death. The inheritance of the heavens and the earth will remain with Allah. So to which possession, saying it is yours, (?), and shouldering the porter's load of the world, going to the hereafter as (?): is that sensible?

So, Hodja, shall we not work at all? No, it is not like that. Work hard. Your Lord says so too: develop your world. So that, He says, the non-Muslims fear you. They envy you and become Muslims. Or they fear you and you are at ease, He says. Yes. You will work hard. You will earn the world. But you will earn it lawfully. You will not put its love in your heart. It is my Lord's command. I worked to fulfil the responsibility He gave me. I worked to be useful to people, I worked to strive in the way of Allah, you will say, and, as your Lord's command, you will also give zakat from your money. You will look to Allah's mercy.

Otherwise, taking the world and putting its love in your heart, and then, for show, showing off to people, or so that they talk, giving money to this one and that one to make yourself look high: (?) the manners of Islam.

Yes.

Because the moment Allah's help is cut off from the unjust, they find no helper beside them, and since they cannot escape Allah's justice, they cannot escape the punishment and attain mercy. Yes. They cannot attain mercy.

Moreover, when there they see the punishment and that they cannot escape hell understand, they will cry out like this: O destruction! Where are you?

There is a verse. Death, where are you, he will say. But there is no more death. There is no death for spirits. Spirit, nafs and soul (?) are separate. We will not enter paradise or hell with these bodies I see. (?), I do not mean all of them. Most of the scholars too, that we will enter paradise and hell with these bodies, believe. We have been explaining for years. Well, if we are to enter paradise and hell with these bodies, the noble verse "We revive you twice, We make you die twice": where has it gone?

Where did I hide this? If we were to enter this paradise and hell with bodies: our first revival is in this world, our first death is upon the body in this world. Our second revival is upon the body in that realm: when you come before Me with a driver, He says. When the spirits are paired, when they come face to face with the body, We, He says, silence your mouths, make your hands speak, and make your feet testify, He says. In this case, after its testimony against the spirit is over, the body says exactly this. I am quoting verses, these are verses.

You are returned to the One who first created, He says. The body dies there a second time. So this body, which our Lord created from clay, again, by dying in the world, becomes earth and goes. What remains? Spirit, nafs and soul. You, the first created, He says; to the first form of creation, form, We turn you, He says, in the noble verse. We turn you to the first form of creation. He said: this has two meanings. But the strong meaning, the first meaning: we were created weak, we were children, (?), and until the end of our lives, to reach the weak age, to forget what we know, Allah Almighty lets some of us live until that age.

So what does He say? We turn you to the first form of creation. The second meaning: I created you in the realm of Lahut. The spirit I gave you as a part of My Spirit. So, when you leave the body, you have come before Me in the first form of creation, He says. In the noble verse: you have come before Us in the first form of creation, He says. That is, spirit, nafs and soul. And this is what Allah Almighty says in this sense.

Therefore never, that we will enter paradise and hell with these bodies, think. That is why I always say this. Sometimes I stand in front of the mirror and talk like a madman. They say anyway that without madness there is no sainthood; I confirm that. O body, as you appear, as you appear, (?).

You are the shadow of a body that will perish, I say. You are the shadow of a body. Never value this shadow, agree with it, take it for yourself, and boast of it. Think of that which will perish and become earth; pull yourself together and set yourself in order, I say. İbrahim (?) says so. What does he say? Look, in me there is a me, he says, deeper within me. In me there is a me, deeper within me. Yes. So, in the realm of Lahut, our Lord did not create us with our bodies. He gave a part of His Spirit.

Try to see your spirit. Try to see your true essence. Never boast of this body you see in the mirror, which will become earth. Do not think it is alive either.

What is alive is our spirits. All else is perishable. Yes.

Moreover, when there they see the punishment and understand that they cannot escape hell, they will cry out like this: O destruction, where are you? That is, these will look for death, but since there is no more death in eternal life, these will remain in eternal punishment. There is no more death. So people turn their faces from Allah and His Messenger and tell them lies, lying words, they slander. If they say "Allah and His Messenger said so" when Allah and His Messenger did not say it, these become wrongdoers against their nafs, they become unjust. May Allah Almighty protect the whole ummah of Muhammad from this punishment, protect them from that punishment of hell.

And may He grant guidance to people who are not Muslims (?).
