Do not forget the Day, on which We will gather them all and then say (to those who associate partners with Allah); “Where are your partners you claimed in vain?”
Tafsir
Allah (swt) addressing the Prophet (pbuh) and saying, "Remember that day" is actually addressing all human beings and reminding them of the Court of Judgment by holding the Prophet (pbuh) as a witness to the existence of that day of reckoning. Our Prophet (s.a.w.), being the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.) and Hatemen Prophet, coming as a mercy to the worlds, did not separate His Messenger from His Essence, because He made him the closest of the creatures to His Essence, He showed him many worlds, and Allah (s.a.w.), who programmed all these worlds, informed His Messenger of the existence of the Day of Reckoning from these programs, and His addressing him as "Do not forget that day" reminds people of that Day of Reckoning with His Messenger whom He sent as a Prophet.
(We will gather them all together.) Just because people die does not mean that they will never be resurrected. If people think, they realize that there is a creator. We have proved the existence of Allah (swt) in many verses in the past, as well as the fact that Allah (swt) created human beings and held them accountable to His Essence, made a covenant with them, gave them His spirit, and finally created our father Adam from clay, We have talked about a series of adventures in which every human being lives out his or her destiny in proportion to the covenant he or she has made with Allah (swt) by giving him or her a soul, then giving him or her a body, then sending him or her out into the world, experiencing his or her fate in proportion to the covenant he or she has made with Allah (swt), experiencing the events of good deeds and sins, completing his or her life, and passing on to the Hereafter. These are the people who complete their lives and die. They did not come to this world to eat, drink, live and then disappear. Since there is God, since there are rewards and sins. If there is a day of reckoning. So these people will rise from their graves at a certain time, again with the knowledge and power of Allah (swt), after the Resurrection, and they will be held to account for what they have done in this world.
Just as man has come into the world by experiencing these adventures, when they are resurrected on the Day of Judgment and gathered on the Day when they will be called to account, (We will say to those who associate partners with Allah: "Where are your partners that you have been vainly pursuing?") Those whose eyes see nothing but the world while they are in this world, who cling to the world with their minds and souls and do not think of the Hereafter, who attribute the blessings of Allah to Allah's creatures by some events, who carry with them objects which they count as their good luck and trust in them, who worship idols instead of Allah, and who are cruel to their own souls, will not find any of them with them when Allah says: "Where are your partners? For they are all the creations of Allah. Can a creature ever be Allah? Or can he be trusted? Can one seek help from him? Those who pursue this cause, those who ascribe partners to Allah, will be losers on the Day of Judgment.
What is said in the video
Yes, do not forget that day when We will gather them all together, He says. Allah forbid, a person trembles; the bridge of my nose aches right now. Do not forget that day, that day of gathering. That day of reckoning, do not forget that day when We will gather them all together. And then to those who associate partners with Allah: where are your partners whose cause you pleaded in vain, We will say, He says. Where? Would you object to Allah? Would you worship idols you made and shaped with your hands? Would you change Allah's verses for a few pennies and say "this is Allah's word"? Would you call the angels Allah's daughters?
Would you call Jesus the son of Allah, Lady Mary? Would you say: we are the sons of Allah, hellfire will not touch us beyond three days, would you?
Would you turn your back on the verses Allah sent? Would you deify your nafs and rebel against your Lord? Do not forget that day, do not forget. Every soul will taste death, and finally your return is to Me, says Allah Almighty. Do not forget that day. Those mountains, He says, scattered. The world, He says, made perfectly flat, He says, perfectly flat. When it happens, the sky another sky. When the earth too is another earth, He says. We are able to revive you down to your fingertips, He says. That day, saying "woe" is worth nothing. There is no more "woe." "Woe" is in the world. Why in the world? In the period of ignorance.
Turn to your Lord, say "woe," fine, you are saved.
You will surely attain Allah's mercy, but if you bind your heart to your Lord and you are with your Lord, repent once without again reaching evil, and believe in the realm of the hereafter, obey Allah and His Messenger, if you continue your worship and do not compromise on these, your Lord has forgiveness. It is impossible that He would not forgive people. Some of my talks offend people. Even if they do, I cannot hold myself back. I will say it. I will say it. Because people cannot stomach some of my talks.
"Do I have kinship in the hereafter?" they say. Yes. I do. I do. Because I know my covenant. (?) Now I see my Lord again in a state of manifestation, just like this, (?), and it is said to me, just like this, He says: I love people very much, He says, but of the bad traits they have done I am ashamed, He says; He says exactly this: I am ashamed of that evil they have done, I am ashamed.
How much He loves people and how merciful and (?) He is toward them, how abundant His mercy is, we must understand from that.
He is ashamed of their evil.
In this respect, Allah is no one's enemy, and He takes revenge on no one. They take revenge on their own nafs. But they say that in the verses Allah took revenge. Never. Allah does not take revenge. If He says that what everyone has earned will be given to him as the recompense of his own (?), then Allah is not one who takes revenge. Look, I love people very much, He says. But I am ashamed of those bad deeds they have done, He says. If you loved someone very much, a friend of yours, a companion, and (?) him, and someone came and said to you: that person you (?), that companion you love so much, has such and such bad traits too, would a person not be ashamed?
He is embarrassed. He is ashamed. Oh, I did not know him to be like that. Look. So he had bad traits too. But when they speak of his goodness, your chest swells. Because he is your friend. So Allah Almighty created us so that His Essence be known. Would we not be ashamed? Toward such a sovereign abundant in forgiveness, our Lord, who created us, provided for us, gave us a life, asked nothing of us and granted paradise freely, to follow the whims of our nafs and turn against Allah: does that befit us? I, (?), personally would be ashamed. If the earth split open, I would sink into it.
Yes. Therefore our Lord, who loves us very much, against Satan, who is His enemy, and the two-legged taghuts, (?) Allah Almighty, everyone's, yet, let us not make Him say: look, your servant who loves you, your servant, did this. Let us not make Him say it. Let us always compete in goodness. Yes, we are faulty. We may do a bad deed. The Prophet says: when you commit a fault, right after it do a good deed, he says, so that it takes it away. That is, Allah Almighty: look, My servant, I had created him incomplete, he was faulty, he did it, but at once he understood his fault; look how (?) toward Me.
And what did you do, He will say to the other. What did you do? I fed you so much, gave you drink, gave you your provision, let you live a life. You (?) with what I created, and forgot your Creator. Now your place is here, He will say.
Well, is it worth it, for the most honourable created human being, to make his Owner say this about him? To make his Lord say this about him? Yes. Do not forget that day when We will gather them all together. We will gather them all together, He says. All together. And then to Allah, to those who associate partners: where are your partners whose cause you pleaded in vain, He will say. There is no such thing. What will they say? (?) Allah Almighty them, to Allah: these are liars, they will say. I did not even know that they worshipped me, it will say. It will speak the truth. They worship such (?).
Today people believe in many things. May Allah reform them.
Allah Almighty addressing the Prophet (peace be upon him), saying "do not forget that day," in fact addressing all people, the Prophet (peace be upon him) (?) to the existence of that day of reckoning. I make you witness.
With His noble verse He reminds people of the Supreme Court. To the Supreme Court.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) being Allah Almighty's Beloved and the Seal of the Prophets: all prophets (?). Although, in the light of the first created worlds, the prophets and people were created from his (?) spirit, Allah Almighty sends him as the Seal of the Prophets, the last of the prophets. The reason: the most honourable, perfect, of all the books, the four books, the Noble Quran, to give it to that Beloved of the Almighty, the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad (peace be upon him), to raise his glory, until the Day of Judgement to keep his religion standing, and so that minds come into play and people, as the finest sound mind, knowing Allah, become Allah's servants, the religion of which He said "Inna'd-dina inda'llahi'l-Islam," (?), His religion, the verses of His religion, the mother book, the religious ruling, He gave to the Prophet and his ummah.
So in this case, in this case, those four books, three books, the fourth book being gathered in the Quran: I held you witness over the prophets and your ummah witness over them, He says. I will hold, He says. Yes. To raise his honour.
And, beyond what people can even imagine, (?) the paradise He calls the Praised Station, assigning it to him.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) being Allah Almighty's Beloved and the Seal of the Prophets, with his coming as a mercy to the worlds, He did not separate His Beloved from His Essence; because He made him the closest of the created to His Essence, He showed him many worlds. All these worlds: Allah Almighty, who programmed all these worlds, from these programs informed His Beloved of the existence of the day of reckoning. His addressing "do not forget that day" reminds people of that day of reckoning through His Beloved, whom He sent as a prophet.
At the beginning of the sentence we passed over a text, we passed over a sentence. We will now explain that part to you.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) being Allah Almighty's Beloved and the Seal of the Prophets, with his coming as a mercy to the worlds: now it begins. He did not separate His Beloved from His Essence.
Because He made him the closest of the created to His Essence, we say. The closest of the created. Close to His Essence, but He did not separate him from His Essence. Now He gave him from His Spirit. Since He gave from His Spirit, Süleyman Çelebi says so too. (?) I took My Essence as a mirror to his essence. I created to see My Essence in his essence, says Allah Almighty. Yes. Look, even the Christians. They come up to a point, but there (?). I breathed from (?) spirit, He says. I breathed from his spirit. There, they call him, Jesus, the son of Allah. They cannot tell apart at this tiny point.
They do not want to tell apart. By worshipping him, deifying their nafs, they cannot give up their filth. Putting Jesus behind them too, they think they will ask for intercession. Poor people. Why do they not say (?) to this tiny point? Although Allah Almighty gave from His own Spirit to the Prophet, even the Prophet (peace be upon him) did not say "I am the son of Allah." What did he say? I am a servant whom Allah created, he said. What do we say? Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah: I bear witness that there is no god but Allah; and ashhadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluhu. Muhammad is Allah's servant and messenger.
Yes. So, since the spirits of the prophets too were created from his spirit, and, O ignorant one, how can you say that Jesus is the son of Allah? Huh. If you do not know, learn. And you do not even want to learn, because you have deified your nafs. Because you have deified your nafs, when they hear the word of truth, says Allah Almighty, they come to a state where the clouds in the sky would burst, He says. In distress they leave that place, He says. Yes. Then, did you ask for that wrath, or did Allah give you that place of yours in the fire? Them all together We will gather, He says. There is no Sirat bridge, mind you.
Never believe in the Sirat bridge. So many verses. I extracted them all; I will explain that to you too. At some hour, some time. There is no such thing as a Sirat bridge. "While crossing it, maces and hooks strike." "Everyone, all people, will cross it with the prophets." "When the Prophet (peace be upon him) enters paradise, there" — they invented a fireless, smokeless fire. They invented caves there. Constantly, people. The Sirat bridge is a word people invented, like a proverb. If you leave Allah's path of sirat al-mustaqim, if you leave the (?) path, you go into the middle of hell, it says.
These words were changed over time. It became a bridge. Then it became people's invention. Maces, swords, this and that. Allah Almighty says: when paradise is brought near to those He loves.
And for the others, hell, He says, when the fire of hell is shown; now all people will see hell and gather around it; not in the sense of entering this hell, they will gather around it and everyone will see that hell, but not in the sense of entering it. Allah Almighty subjects no one to punishment without calling them to account. We have explained these. Those who listen to us know. I wanted to explain a little to our newly arrived children. So, listen. The more you listen, the more you will run out of questions, I said. Listen. And you do run out. Yes.
Them all together, We will gather them all together. Where? At the gathering. Yes, people's passing away does not mean they will not be revived again.
If people would think, they would grasp that they have a Creator. What does death resemble? An inn with two doors: you enter by one; take the world as an inn, you go out by the other. Or take it as a bridge. (?) you cross the bridge, to the other side, to the realm of the hereafter, that is, passing on by death to the other realm, the hereafter. Now what does Allah Almighty say in the noble verse? He is the Lord of the easts. He is the Lord of the two easts, the two wests.
I am very saddened by the commentaries, slipshod: the sun rises here in winter, in summer it rises more from here, in winter it sets there, in summer it sets here, there are easts and wests, (?). Look, the commentaries are all like that.
Allah is the First and the Last, the Manifest and the Hidden.
So, is there a realm of the hereafter? There is. Is a thousand years here like one day of the hereafter? Yes. Is the world a likeness and shadow of the hereafter? Yes. So the easts of the manifest world, its east and west, and the hidden world's east and west. He is the Lord of the two easts and the two wests, He says. He is the Lord of both the manifest world and the hidden world. Yes.
What do we say? If people would think, they would grasp that they have a Creator. In many past verses we have proved both Allah Almighty's existence and that Allah Almighty created people and addressed them directly, made a covenant with them, gave from His Spirit, finally created our father Adam from clay, then gave him a spirit and clothed him in the garment of the body, then, sending him to the world, that each person lives his destiny in proportion to the covenant he gave to Allah's (?), and, living through events of reward and sin, completes his life and passes on to the hereafter.
So, completing his life, completing his life,
finally creating our father Adam from clay, then giving him a spirit and (?) the body, then sending him to the world, that each person lives his destiny (?) the covenant he gave to Allah Almighty, and, living through the events of reward and sin, completes his life and passes on to the hereafter. So these people who die having completed their lives did not come to the world to eat, drink, live and then vanish and go. To the world. He will eat, drink, then live and go. Now some films are showing on television too. One of them says: do you believe in Allah's existence? He says. I am doubtful, he says.
In being revived after death, he says. So they say, he says. Yes. Even in the world they prove themselves. They prove what kind of people they are. Yes. So Allah Almighty did not send us to the world to eat, drink, have intercourse, reproduce, then die and vanish. What did He send us for? He addressed us directly. He put partial free will in our hands. He willed that His Essence be known. And since He is free of deficient attributes, us, so that people do not say: my Allah, You created me like Your Essence; if only You had sent me to a realm of the unseen; if only You had made Your existence known to me there; I would have known You there; so that they do not say this, He created these worlds.
So, by whether or not each person knows his Lord in his partial free will, on that day of gathering they will be called to account at the Supreme Court. According to the noble verse in which He says "Every soul will taste death and finally your return is to Me," we will be called to account there.
So we did not come to the world to eat, drink, have intercourse and reproduce, then to vanish.
Are there those who will be like this, He says. There are. Who are they? Animals. Animals. Since they have no spirit either, (?) that secret's secret enters. I am not permitted to explain that. Why do the (?) enter? In this case, the others, from one another, when the animals are gathered, He says, they will take their rights from one another. Perhaps they hurt one another; there they will take their rights. Accordingly, they will vanish. But the human being, as long as paradise and hell are everlasting, as long as those heavens and the earth stand, He says, they remain there forever, says Allah Almighty.
Yes, so the human being, living through these adventures, just as he came to the world, on the Day of Judgement too, on the day they are revived and give account, when they are gathered, to those who associate partners with Allah: where are your partners whose cause you pleaded in vain, We will say, says Allah Almighty. I fed you, gave you drink.
I created the heavens and the earth and what is between them. You shaped what I created with your hands and worshipped them. You forgot the One who gives provision. Things that can neither benefit nor harm you, deifying your own nafs, you worshipped.
Well, now tell the truth, He says. If they are gods, where are those you worshipped? And many will say: but we did not worship them anyway, they will say. These are verses.
Yes.
Those whose eyes, while in the world, saw nothing but the world, who with their mind and nafs clung to the world and did not think of the realm of the hereafter, who, through certain events, attributed the blessings Allah gave to things Allah created, and carried with them objects they counted as their lucky charms, and trusted them, those who left Allah and worshipped idols, and those who wrong their own nafs: when Allah says "where are these partners of yours," none of them beside them, none of them beside them will they find. Because those will move away from them and go. Yes. Because they are all things Allah created.
Can something created ever be Allah? Would Allah create a being as a partner to Himself? And would He create a being that would become His enemy, in time become an enemy? He does not create one. How do we understand this? And it is very good that He did not create one; if He did, we would always fall into doubt. I personally would have doubts. If the Creator had created another being, created a god, I would have doubts. Even if it were obedient to Him, one day, when they fell out; and Allah Almighty says so anyway. If there were two gods, the one you created would take what the other created, and the world would drown in corruption, He says. And when these fell out, they would go at each other, and finally we would suffer wrong.
That is why I always pray to Allah. My Allah, free of deficient attributes, the One, He does not keep a partner to His Essence. And do not keep one, my Allah, I say; do not keep one. Do not create; stand by Your own existence. Accept Yourself as the sovereign of the whole universe and us as Your servants, I say, my Allah. If someone should stand out and try to create something, do not give him the chance, my Allah, I say. He does not give the chance anyway. Why? Because He created our minds limited. We can only invent. That is, in what Allah created we can find new technologies. But we cannot create anything out of nothing.
Because we do not have that mind.
What a beautiful order my Lord has set up. Yes.
Because they are all things Allah created. Can something created ever be Allah? Or can it be trusted? Can help be hoped for from it? So those who chase after this cause, who ascribe partners to Allah, will on the Day of Judgement suffer loss. Loss.
Surah Al-An'am, verse 23.
Then their excuse, then their excuse will be nothing but saying: by Allah, our Lord, we were not ones who associated partners. I said it just now, didn't I? What would they say? But we did not associate them as partners anyway. Look how beautifully Allah Almighty says it. That is what they will say. So, that they are liars, how well, in Allah's presence, they will prove themselves.
Their speaking this way is deceiving their own nafs.
