If You punish them, verily they are Your servants. If You forgive them, verily You are Azeez (Exalted) and Hakeem (All-Wise).
Tafsir
Jesus prayed to Allah (swt), "O Allah! If You torment them, surely they are Your servants. You are the owner of justice, surely You judge with justice. And if You forgive them, surely You are the All-Mighty, All-Wise, All-Knowing, All-Knowing of who pays homage to You and who turns away from You.
Are those who know and those who do not know, those who continue their worship and those who do not, those who work and those who do not work, the same? Allah (swt) knows best who among the nations of the Prophets followed the Prophets and who turned their backs on Allah (swt), following their nafs and the temptations of Shaytan, following the taghuts, and adopting deviant paths.
Surely Allah is the Owner of honor and grace. When people seek forgiveness from Allah (swt) for the mistakes and sins they have committed while serving Allah (swt), Allah (swt), who is a sultan abundant in mercy, forgives His servants because He forgives sins and has mercy on them. The Prophets, regardless of the suffering they suffered from their people, regardless of the insults they were insulted and denied, yet they implicitly asked forgiveness from Allah (swt) for their people, is a good example for every human being.
What is said in the video
We can continue. Surah Al-Ma'idah, verse 118. If You punish them, they are surely Your servants. If You forgive them, You are surely the Owner of might and wisdom, he said. Who said it? Jesus (peace be upon him). To recall the last lesson: Allah Almighty asked Jesus (peace be upon him): Did you say these things, that my mother and I are, that is, gods equal to Allah? Thereupon, in the earlier verses, Jesus says: God forbid, had I said such a thing, You would already know it; verses like that run on downward like this. In this case too: if You punish them, they are surely Your servants. That is, You judge with justice.
You do no injustice. In this case, what everyone has earned, in return for (?), to them (?) You are the one who gives it. In this case no one can doubt Your justice. That is, they are surely Your servants. Of course You will call them to account. They are Your servants. You treat them as You wish. But You are just, he says. If You forgive them, You are surely the Owner of might and wisdom, he said. Even if You forgive them, they are still Your servants; You are the Owner of might and wisdom, You are abundant in mercy, a Possessor of mercy, (?) we cannot interfere with them, he says. Jesus. All servants are Yours, he says.
So the verse 'Unless We will, you cannot will': that no one can step outside destiny, and that Allah Almighty will not change their destinies either; everyone, by their own (?) and deeds, will prove what kind of person they are, and the verse, finally this verse will come true. What does it say? With the verse 'Every soul will taste death, and to Me is your return', tomorrow at the Resurrection, when all people, with their bodies, let me say, at the Supreme Court give account before Allah Almighty, on that day the verse 'Judgment is Mine alone' will come true. No one can ask Allah Almighty why He did this and call Him to account. No one will. Because He has no spouse, no equal, nor any partner. Yes. That is why on that day, Judgment is Mine alone, He says.
Jesus (?) to Allah Almighty: O Allah, if You punish them, they are surely Your servants. Yes. All the creatures He created, from the atom to the globe, are all created by Allah Almighty. All are servants of our Lord. How so? Are inanimate things His servants too? Yes. Inanimate things are His servants too. How is that? Let me tell you a verse. The heavens and the earth. And what lies between the two have known the remembrance of your Lord. So if everything created remembers Allah, living and non-living, then in their atoms the nuclei, the positive and negative nuclei, while spinning around their own axes, make a (?). That produces a sound.
And Allah Almighty makes that sound come out in such a (?) that whichever of His names, whichever (?) (?) it is to remember, living and non-living, by making them remember His Essence, it symbolizes that there is no god but Allah. That is, He stamps His symbol on what He created. With what? By making them remember His Essence. So. By saying that living and non-living, all created things have known the remembrance of Allah, all these worlds, everything from the atom to the globe, are servants of Allah.
If You punish them, they are surely Your servants. You are just. You surely judge with justice. If You forgive them, You are surely the Owner of might and wisdom. You are the one who fully knows who obeys and worships You and who turns away from You, he says. Of course, the keys of the unseen are in the hand of Allah Almighty. The keys of the unseen. Yes. He has programmed all these worlds; until the Resurrection these worlds will complete their course.
Are those who know His Essence and those who do not, those who know His Essence and those who do not, those who continue in obedience and worship and those who do not, those who strive and those who do not, ever equal? Are those who strive and those who do not ever equal? Yes. Surely, since Allah Almighty is just, the person who strives, who worships His Essence, who does not step outside his Lord's commands, who, abiding by the sharia rulings of Allah Almighty, prepares his provision for the hereafter, and the person who, like a merchant gone bankrupt in the world, does not fulfil the commands of Allah Almighty, who runs after the whims of his nafs: are they ever equal?
Yes. Allah Almighty, among the communities of the prophets, who followed the prophets and who, falling for their nafs and Satan's temptation, being dragged after the taghut, that is, the two- legged devils, taking crooked paths as their banner, turned their backs on Allah: He knows that best. We are content. Yes.
Surely Allah is the Owner of might and generosity. Of might and generosity. As much glory, fame, majesty and might as Allah Almighty possesses: there is no holy being as great as Allah. In this case Allah, in this might and glory, fame, with His attribute of Creator, toward His servants as the Merciful and also as the Generous, their provision (?), Allah who with justice, letting His creatures live within a certain span, for each of them in a set time, determining their lifespans and their return to His Essence, programs it: this Allah, without doing any injustice to His creatures, is surely the one who gives their provision. He gives their provision.
Yes. Owner of generosity. Look, we eat, we drink. How lovely. He has placed in the world whatever all people desire. On the land, vegetables, fruits,
all kinds of you know, Allah Almighty, whatever people need, as their food and drink, besides vegetables, game animals, you know, other sheep and goats or cattle, many creatures He has not made forbidden to people, He gives to people as a gift. A gift. In the seas various fish, birds flying in the air, you know, the lawful ones of course, as game. Allah Almighty, so that they eat these as part of people's provision, so that they enjoy them in the finest way, you know, and, knowing their Lord, thank that Lord who created them, places these at people's service, and He makes that human the vicegerent on earth.
In this case, has Allah Almighty not been generous to people? All people eat and drink. A person invites a person to his home, and from what he has earned he offers him food, feeds him, gives him drink. and the one invited to his home says: at his table only bird's milk was missing, everything was there, he says. If the guest, about those limited, few provisions served to him, about a few of them, says: at his table only bird's milk was missing, everything was there, then in the face of so many (?) that Allah Almighty created for people in this universe, would a person not thank the One who gives those blessings?
Or, if one compares it with his saying that it was complete, that only bird's milk was lacking at his table, then by offering the (?) kinds and varieties to people's service, has Allah Almighty, you know, not bestowed on them blessings that no created being could bestow? In that case, can those people eat and drink this and then turn their backs on the one who gave it? Or can they say to Him, you know, He gave me too little, or He gave me nothing? Whatever everyone desired within their own wish and destiny, our Lord to them, to those people in the world, you know, all His gifts (?). That person
