Translation

Allah will say, this is the Day on which truthfulness will benefit the truthful ones. For them, there are paradises beneath which rivers flow and in which they will dwell eternally. Allah is content with them and they are content with Allah. This is the great salvation and gain.

Tafsir

After this speech of Jesus, Allah (swt) will say: "This is the day when the righteous will benefit from their righteousness." This is the day when people's obedience to Allah and His Messengers, their belief in Allah and the Last Day, and their following the straight path that Allah (swt) has shown them, will benefit their righteousness that comes from this straight path and belief in Allah. It is a day when Allah will be pleased with them and they will be pleased with Allah and they will enjoy the mercy of Allah. That is salvation.

For these people there are Gardens from whose ground rivers flow. They will be in the life of eternal bliss, enjoying endless and inexhaustible blessings, looking forward to the time when they will see Allah (swt) and admiring Him.

The people who have attained this salvation are the people who have the greatest gain among the great blessings. This gain is not the gain of material exchange between people and Allah (swt). This gain is the gain of those who believe in Allah and the Hereafter, those who sacrifice for the sake of Allah (swt) the blessings that Allah (swt) has bestowed upon mankind, those who walk the path that Allah (swt) has shown without compromise, those who do what Allah (swt) says, those who fulfill the Shari'ah rulings. This is the greatest trade and gain. Because their earnings are the earnings of an eternal blissful abode in an eternal life in a heavenly realm with unending and inexhaustible blessings.

May Allah (swt) grant us such a gain.

What is said in the video

Yes, Surah Al-Ma'idah, verse 119. After this conversation, Allah will say: This is the day when their truthfulness will benefit the truthful. That is, this happens at the Great Tribunal. These conversations are in the world of the hereafter. The worlds: the Last Day will break out, anew. Allah Almighty will raise us again in the world of the hereafter. These are the conversations when we are called to account at the Great Tribunal.

for them there are gardens beneath which rivers flow, in which they will abide forever, it says. For whom? The day when their truthfulness will benefit the truthful. Who are the truthful people? People who have believed in the Truth, believed in Allah, been honoured with the religion of Islam, and who have acted within the commands of Allah: such people. These are the people who in the world of the hereafter attain the mercy of Allah Almighty.

Allah is pleased with them. That is, He is pleased with those servants of His. How was He pleased? What does Allah Almighty say? I was a hidden treasure. I willed to be known. From My light I created Muhammad, and from his light the universe. So Allah Almighty, who (?) to man so that His essence be known, by His own will willed that our Lord be known. So these people, by their own will, without any (?) or pressure on them, without any oppression, these are people who by their own will know their Lord. Those who know Allah. And yes, those who say, this is my Lord, He created me from nothing, He is the Owner of the worlds, and try to do what He says and try not to do what He forbids: Allah Almighty grants these people His mercy.

These are the ones who keep what I say and who are truly God-fearing towards Me. What does it say? Allah is pleased with them. And they are pleased with Him. That is the great salvation and gain. Yes, the great salvation. However much you are a captive, however much torment you suffer, in the end one day you will die. You will die. But if in this world you take on the burden of sin, in the world of the hereafter you will be subjected to the torment of an endless life with no death. Yes, in this temporary world of dominion, however much torment you are subjected to, however much violence you suffer, if amid all this you remembered your Lord, accepted what came from my Lord, were content with Him, and in the end, knowing that this world is a temporary place, took refuge in the mercy of Allah Almighty, then you have become a sultan of the world of the hereafter.

What happened? You became a sultan of the world of the hereafter.

In the great salvation, this is how you were saved. Otherwise escaping from prisons, dungeons, cellars in this world is not salvation. Because no one can escape death. No one can escape the command of Allah Almighty. No one can escape the command of our Lord and roam freely in his own will. One day he will taste death and give account in the presence of (?). The people who win that account will attain the great salvation.

Yes.

After this speech of Jesus, Allah Almighty will say: This is the day when their truthfulness will benefit the truthful. As a result of people obeying Allah and His Messengers, believing in Allah and the Last Day, and walking on the straight path Allah Almighty has shown, today is the day when the truthfulness given by this straight path and by believing in Allah will benefit them. That day. That is salvation. Just as you wait at the exam door, you go into the exam, when the questions are asked and they are all within your knowledge, you are happy. You answer those questions, and when you come out you are confident, ah, you are at ease.

If you cannot answer the questions and they are outside what you know, unease takes hold of you, sorrow takes hold of you, and you fail your class. In the same way, in this world, which is such a world of trial, those who pass on to the hereafter having carried out our Lord's commands in His presence, just like the people who pass that exam and come out, our Lord tells those people: you will today be sent to the place that is yours, go ahead; He sends them to the highest Paradise. And they attain that peace. As for the others, when they realise they will enter Hell, they throw themselves face down on the ground, it says.

Rather than throwing yourself face down, rather than your eyes bulging out like the blue of the sky, if in that worldly life you had said Allah, if you had not held any god other than Allah, any created being, equal to Allah, that is, if you had not deified idols, called them god and worshipped them, and if you had known that all these worlds have an Owner and that it is Allah Almighty, and in the end, at a time when deaths appear every day before our eyes, even though we know that one day we too will use up our life and die, keeping before our eyes that we will give account in the divine presence, if we worshipped Allah Almighty in this life of ours, while our life is a treasure to us, what harm would it do?

Yes. (?) one man says, why are you worshipping, he says. He says, I am worshipping Allah. What does that mean, he says. Well, in the world of the hereafter, he says, there is Allah, there is the One who created us. To Him, he says, because He created us, I carry out His command over us, he says. That is why I say worship. Well, have you seen Allah, he says. No. If you haven't seen Him, he says, how do you worship someone you haven't seen, he says. He says, He sent us to a hidden world. In this hidden world, that is, in a world where His essence is not seen, He told us to worship, he says. That is why I worship, he says.

He says, you are worshipping in vain. There is no such world, he says. Well, what do you do, he says. I don't believe in the things I said, he says. I just get by like this, he says. I live life, he says. Well, he says, will we all die, says the one who worships. We will die, says the other too. Well, what if in the world of the hereafter, he says, Allah exists, he says. Otherwise there is nothing, he says. What if He exists, he says, what will you do, he says. I, he says, will save my skin, he says. But how will you save your skin, he says. If Allah exists. Then the man thinks for a moment. Yes, what if He exists, he says, yes, you truly saved your skin, he says.

So, to those who doubt "what if He exists", we now say, (?). Surely, rationally too, using our reason too: this human being equipped with knowledge, these creatures equipped with knowledge, these worlds equipped with knowledge, did they come into being by themselves, and did these beings program these worlds in this way? When we look, we see that everything is equipped with knowledge. And we see, we know, that it has a Creator. So tomorrow in the world of the hereafter, on that day when we give account in the divine presence, what if Allah exists, what will we do? Thinking about this, we will spend our life in this world accordingly.

If, in the capacity of carrying out Allah Almighty's command over us, in the best way within our strength, with worship of Allah, we take into the hereafter a life that will please our Lord, then our Lord will grant us true salvation, true victory, true gain. That is our gain. Doesn't it say exactly that? That is the great salvation and gain, it says. Yes.

After this speech of Jesus, Allah Almighty will say: This is the day when truthfulness will benefit the truthful. It will benefit truthfulness, these truthful ones; he is telling it to the friends. Their truthfulness will benefit them, that is, being upright, being on the straight path, (?) to Allah Almighty, spending all the strength he has to carry out His command: it is a day when this will benefit them. As a result of people obeying Allah and His Messenger, believing in Allah and the Last Day, and walking on the straight path Allah Almighty has shown, today is the day when the truthfulness given by this straight path and by believing in Allah will benefit them.

Because it is a day on which Allah is pleased with them, and they, pleased with Allah, attain the mercy of Allah Almighty. And that is salvation. Yes. The people to whom He says: O soul at peace, enter among My servants, pleased with your Lord and He pleased with you, enter My Paradise. For these people there are gardens beneath which rivers flow. Beneath which rivers flow. I mean, doesn't a person know? Suppose he had a palace. A palace. In its garden let there be every kind of fruit tree. Let rivers flow among those fruit trees. With their gushing sounds like this. Let lovely nightingales sing in those trees.

And everything green, well-kept, a magnificent arbour. Around that arbour beautiful thrones, and on that throne, around you, young maids walking about, drinks that do not intoxicate. Would you not desire it? And the air, like (?), colourful, constantly changing shape; because the human self wearies of looking at one thing, that world constantly and briskly changes shape. With that changing of shape the human self, in admiration, forever, in joy and delight, will live its world. Wouldn't you want such a life? Then say Allah. Do not associate any god besides Allah as a partner with Him. Do not deify your nafs.

Overcome the evils in your nafs. Do not do what Allah does not want. So that on the Day of Judgement you attain such beautiful qualities. Besides, inside that palace, at the entrance from the gate, a pool. Allah! A large pool. Stairs on its four sides. On the four sides of the pool. Whichever side you come out of, gardens are ready there. On all four sides. On the other side, adorned with a (?), people serving you. How lovely. This is not imagination, mind you. I mean, I am not describing my fantasy.

Yes. Just as people work in this world and get the reward for their work and become rich, those who carry out what our Lord says also become rich in the hereafter. They too attain many things. One who wants this world attains worldly goods. And those who want the hereafter attain the goods of the hereafter. That is what Allah Almighty says. To one who wants this world, this world; to one who wants the hereafter, He says, We give the hereafter, He says. Yes. For these people there are gardens beneath which rivers flow. They, attaining endless and inexhaustible blessings in the life of eternal bliss, waiting impatiently for the time they will see Allah Almighty, will gaze in admiration at their surroundings.

Waiting impatiently for Allah Almighty, they will gaze at our Lord in admiration. Allah Almighty will manifest Himself, will appear, to some once a year, to some once a month, to some once a week, to some once a day, to some once an hour; and would you not want it? If the president of our country visited you or came to you, how would you prepare, how would you make every effort to serve that person who is worthy of that position, as befits him? Yes, and especially if you love him, you would wait impatiently. In that case, for your Lord who offers you these blessings, in that world, in the world of the hereafter, would you not wait impatiently for the day you will see Him?

To see Him. And then, would you not gaze at Him in admiration? A person is apart from his mother and father for a while. Or apart from his wife and children. Longing begins. At the end of the longing, when they are reunited, they embrace. They shed tears from wild joy, they cry. Yes.

What about your Owner?

The One who gives you those blessings? The One who makes you a sultan in the reign of eternal, endless life: would you tire of watching Him, of gazing at Him? Yes.

These people who attain salvation are the people who gain the greatest gain among great blessings. This gain is not the gain of a material trade that people have made with Allah Almighty. This gain is of those who believe in Allah and the hereafter. The blessings Allah Almighty grants people: of those who practise Sufism for Allah, of those who walk without compromise on the path Allah Almighty has shown, of those who do what Allah Almighty says, who carry out His Sharia ruling, it is the trade of their gain.

That is the greatest trade and gain. Because the gain they earn, in an eternal life, in the highest Paradise, among blessings that never end, never run out and never diminish, in eternal (?), it is the gain of (?). May Allah Almighty grant all of us such a gain. Yes.
