Translation

Did they not see that, due to their sins, We have destroyed many generations before them, who were given all the means that We have given to you, who were given plenty of rain from the sky and had rivers flowing beneath their houses, and that We have created other generations after them?

Tafsir

Those who disbelieve in Allah (swt), those who are rebellious against the truth, follow Shaytan and are dragged into the marshes, subject to their own nafs and desires. Because the dark and swampy paths are pleasant to their souls, they oppose Allah and His Messenger, thinking that they are living. Have these people never seen or heard that many nations before them were given the abundant sustenance and blessings that are given to the present nations, but because they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger, Allah (swt) destroyed them and cut them off from the earth and created new generations in their place?

So Allah (swt) reminds us of these things; O people! After all these proofs and miracles about My existence, if you disbelieve, deny the truth and deny the Hereafter, My punishment will be severe.

Allah (swt) destroys the unruly and transgressing tribes in front of these generations in order to give life to the generations that will come after them. (We have divided you into tribes in the earth so that you may be quickly recognized) According to the verse, people of the same mindset, choosing the same time, transgressing the limits and boundaries in the earth, are subjected to Allah's destruction. They will remain as an example to people until the Day of Judgment.

As a continuation of the program, He sends after the destroyed tribes a generation that will not cause mischief in the earth. Then the mischief-makers among them will gradually make these generations conform to them, and each person will return to Allah by living the covenant he has made.

In this way, people who will come until the Day of Judgment will live their lives in this world and earn rewards and sins in proportion to the covenant they have made with Allah (swt) and will pass on to the Hereafter as witnesses to themselves, their surroundings and Allah (swt).

What is said in the video

In verse 6 of Surah Al-An'am: Have they not seen that before them, on earth, all the means We gave you We gave them; sending down abundant rain on them from the sky, making rivers flow beneath their houses; how many generations We destroyed, and after them We created other generations, says Allah Almighty.

Our Lord, as we always say, to people, that there is no other god besides Allah, and that our Lord over these worlds has absolute power and is their owner, and that every person, just as he has responsibility toward any work or toward himself, just as he has responsibility toward his family, his surroundings, his workplace, is also responsible to Allah Almighty who created him; to make this known, He shows us examples. With verses He tries to tell us what befell those before. What does it say? How many generations We destroyed. That is, they went outside the religious rulings We sent. They pushed the limits, and they turned their backs on Us.

They did not believe in the verses I sent, that is, the miracles. Even though they themselves asked for miracles, they said, 'This is magic,' and the miracles Allah had sent, they tried to deny. So We destroyed them, He says. After them We created many generations. Those many generations We destroyed. That is, like the people of Lot, the people of Pharaoh, the people of Thamud, the people of 'Ad, many peoples We destroyed. To them too, He says, the means We gave you. What are the means He gave us? We live in abundance and plenty. Allah Almighty pours down His mercy. There is everything, mashallah, in our country too there is everything, I mean, it is there.

So He says to them too: many vineyards, gardens, many clusters of grapes, date orchards We gave, but if they turn their backs on Us, because they deny Our verses, because they transgress the limits, We destroy them. Destroy. After them, after them We raised generations.

Allah Almighty: those who deny, who are rebellious against the truth, yes, following their own nafs and desires, going after Satan, are dragged into swamps.

But one man also puts it this way. Whoever relies on his own mind in every matter is like a legless man with an artificial leg, he says. What he did yesterday, he sets out to change today. So Allah Almighty created the human mind deficient; when a person, because of being faulty and deficient, for these mistakes he made and the sins he committed, that he is responsible to Allah Almighty knows, and realizes that he is a sinner, that he will be subject to Allah Almighty's punishment, when he knows that, when that person opens his hands: O my Lord, You created me in helplessness, I followed my nafs, I made a mistake.

(?), help me. Forgive me for the sins committed, my Allah. I will try never again to go outside Your command. When he says, I promise You, Allah Almighty, because of the person's turning back to his Lord, his asking for pardon and forgiveness, what does He say in His verse? They will find Me very forgiving, He says. Yes, very forgiving. So Allah Almighty opens to people, to people, the doors of returning to His essence, the doors of repentance, and from evil to good He tries to turn people. With what? With a very beautiful language, by telling people gently, gently. Yes, since He knows people's states, He explains to them gently, gently, with very beautiful words.

So what about those who deny Allah Almighty, that is, those dragged into that swamp, those rebellious against the truth? Following their own nafs and desires, going after Satan, they are dragged into swamps. Yes. So a person, in order not to be dragged into that swamp, will use his mind. He will use the blessing of the mind. How he himself came to exist; these worlds turning around one another, around you, and in space neither coming closer to one another nor moving away; and with our Lord's words, We created what We created firmly, these worlds that move, before the power and might of our Lord who makes them move, a person must know his helplessness and surrender to the creator of these worlds.

So that he is not dragged into those swamps, does not follow Satan's tracks, does not run after the two-legged satans we call taghut. Yes, because to these people's nafs dark and swampy paths are pleasing, thinking they are living, they rise up against Allah and His Messenger.

Just let that person once give his covenant to Allah Almighty as a rebel. If he gave his covenant as a rebel in that address of Elestü bi-Rabbiküm, this person, when he hears Allah's word, goes into distress. On the swampy paths Satan gave to his nafs, those temptations he at once embraces; thinking that is living, in drinking, in gambling, in fornication, he runs after every kind of vice, and the rebellion in his own nafs, that scattered, restless heart of his, by losing himself for a moment, with drink, with drink scattering it, or with pleasure and revelry, he wants to forget. And that one-moment life, that swamp life, he thinks is living.

Yes.

Consider it a flower. People too are each a flower. The moment one begins not to fulfil Allah's command, you see that flower, left without water, without water, starting to dry up, to wither.

Instead of giving it water, life, that is, that will nourish that plant, normal water, from the water we drink or from stream water, instead of giving that plant water and reviving it, and consider this our Lord's verses, instead of a person judging himself by those verses and finding life, onto that plant he goes and pours bleach, and that (?).
