Translation

For those who believe and commit good (salih) deeds, there is no sin for the things they have tasted before, as long as they abstain and continue with good deeds, take root in their beliefs and then occupy themselves with those good deeds. Allah likes those who commit good deeds.

Tafsir

Those who believe in Allah and His Messenger, and do righteous deeds and good deeds, and reform the evil traits and desires of their nafs for the sake of Allah, and abstain from what Allah has forbidden, and refrain from evil deeds, and do good deeds, and continue to do good deeds and become rooted in their faith, Those who adopt the morals of Allah (swt) and turn to Taqwa (piety), that is to say, to observe the lawful and unlawful, to avoid doubtful things, and to continue in good deeds, their sins will be forgiven to them for what they have already done and tasted.

It is understood from this verse that Allah is Tawwab and forgives the sins of those who believe in Him, with His attribute of Gaffar, when they realize their evil deeds and turn back. When people realize that they are sinners in the sight of Allah, He gives the good news that if they turn to Allah, they will be forgiven by Allah and their sins will be forgiven to them and they will be forgiven.

(Allah loves those who do good.) Only those who fear Allah do good. And those who fear Allah will not do evil, so they will remain in Allah's love.

What is said in the video

93rd verse: For those who believe and do righteous deeds, provided they guard themselves and continue doing good, then become rooted in piety and faith, and after that keep busy with these good deeds, there is no sin on them for what they tasted before. Allah loves those who do good, He says.

This is what Allah is.

He has said: this is how Allah is. Just. Kind and merciful toward His servants. Look how beautifully He says it. For those who believe and do righteous deeds. I was a disbeliever, Allah forbid. Let's say. Then I gave up disbelief. (?), I also gambled, I did all kinds of (?). We're giving an example, of course. Don't say the Hodja did this. I never did it in my life. Yes. We're giving an example. I'm giving it from myself, using myself. An example. Then

I became Muslim. I repented. I became Muslim. I believed. I began doing righteous deeds. What are righteous deeds? Prayer, fasting, zakat, hajj — we fulfill these five pillars. Besides this, sir, I give sadaqat al-fitr. Besides this, let me tell you, I help the needy. Besides this, I help Allah's houses. I help with building them. Besides this, I give charity to the poor and needy. I reach out to the needy. Righteous deeds. How fine. Toward his Muslim brother. Sir, in the religion of Islam, some traits of Muslims toward one another: because their minds are lacking, they may speak (?) words to each other.

Or they may say bad words. To (?) them in his own heart, to forgive him, as a brother in Islam, to convey the truth to him, to spread truth and justice on earth — righteous deeds — and if he continues on this, He says, if he goes to the hereafter like this, then for what he did before there is no responsibility, He says. He forgave.

Because He created man with a lacking mind. Since he was created with a lacking mind, man knew his helplessness, within his helplessness he made mistakes, then he knew his helplessness, he understood further that there is no (?) other than Allah, and finally he was honored with Islam and began doing righteous deeds. So man attained Allah Almighty's pardon and forgiveness. Well, Hodja, now a question comes to my mind. And you go on and on, seize others' property, eat what is haram, do every kind of filth, then you repent once, and Allah forgives you. Where did the others' rights go?

You'd say this.

Who was our Owner? Allah. Why did He create us with a lacking mind? We will make mistakes. Then we will realize our mistakes. We will ask Allah Almighty for pardon and forgiveness. Then, then if our Lord sees us constantly in pardon and forgiveness with that sincere heart — and He already knows what will come until the Day of Judgment, which living being will be upon what, He knows. He forgives us our sins. He forgives. He adds us to the ranks of the truthful. Now let's come to the people whose rights you mean. What did we say a moment ago? Who was our Owner? Allah Almighty. Since our Owner is Allah, in the hereafter He gives to him until he is pleased with me.

And what does he say? Do you know? If only there had been a bit more, so that my Lord would have given me, for my due, even better places. So Allah Almighty does not look at how this worldly life is lived. We came to this world to prove to ourselves what kind of person we are in this worldly life — that is why we came to this realm. So the true realm is the realm of the hereafter. We were clothed in flesh and bone, as Yunus Emre said, we appeared outwardly as human. But this visible body of flesh and bone is condemned to death, to death, condemned to death.

But my essence is not condemned to death. What is this essence? My soul. My soul is not condemned to death. Is there a verse? Of course there is. What would we say without a verse? Every soul will taste death, He says. Souls will taste death. Spirit, self and soul are (?), bodies are separate. The self will taste the death of the body. So it is alive. Look. All deaths, that is, every soul will taste death. My body died. While dying, my soul is alive. Just as I drink this tea,

just as I taste the flavor in it, I will taste that pain of death.

That is, I will not die. Souls are immortal, for souls there is no (?).

With the soul's leaving the body

there is its going to the realm of barzakh, to its grave. And Abdulqadir Gilani says this too: All souls dance in their graves, he says. That is, they turn around their axis. They say Allahu'l-Hak, Allahu'l-Hak, he says. That is, they say Allah is the Truth, Allah is the Truth, he says. The reason they say this is that in the (?) of Elestü bi Rabbiküm they saw Allah Almighty, he says. Yes. So souls are immortal. Some, because they can't grasp it, say this man is a follower of wahdat al-wujud. He is not a follower of wahdat al-wujud; his short mind can't grasp this. We prove with verses that souls are immortal.

Is hell everlasting? You can't say it isn't. There is a verse. It says eternal. Is paradise everlasting too? There too it says eternal. So if there were death for souls, paradise and hell would not be everlasting.

If we explain Quran verses with half-baked knowledge, we are like a bird flying with one wing. Yes.

So according to people's minds, if you sin, sin, and after that say, O Allah, (?) put me among the righteous servants, they'll say, what happened to the other one's right? As for the other one's right, isn't our Lord our Owner? He will give the other one his right in the hereafter until that person is pleased with him. Is there a verse for this too? Of course there is. Is there a verse? For those people, He says, neither grief nor (?) will meet them. In the verse. What is grief? His mother, father, close friends go to hell. They will suffer punishment. They died as Muslims, but sinners. He grieves for them. Allah Almighty gives him the right of intercession for them.

And for those who say there is no right of intercession, (?) a verse. Yes. He takes them out of there. That is how he is saved from this grief. But, as I said a moment ago, a person may have seized someone else's right. He may have raced in evil. In the end, with a beautiful faith and a sincere heart, for those who do righteous deeds, provided they guard themselves and continue doing good — guarding themselves against those evils they did, guarding themselves, continuing doing good, then becoming rooted in piety and faith — taqwa, what is that? Avoiding doubtful things. Entering among the righteous servants.

And after that, provided they keep busy with these good deeds, that is, if he goes to the hereafter in this state, then for what they tasted before, that is, for the evils they did, there is no sin on them, He says. Yes. Allah Almighty both protects the people wronged by what this one did and also rewards that person; Allah shows such mercy to His servants. This is what Allah is. While we have such a Lord, such an Allah, does man (?) in fulfilling Allah's command? Isn't this person ashamed? He makes his own self (?), follows the path Satan shows, and turns his back on his Lord in the face of all the provision his Lord has given — would this person have used his mind?

Yes, when we see how much ignorance people are in, how, with selfish feelings, they are in fame, renown, arrogance and pride, how when they hear Allah's word they say I'm a Muslim too, and then, left alone with their own self, make their own self a god — our hearts too ache; it's not that we complain. But we are not going to change anyone's destiny either. We only enjoin good, as Allah Almighty has commanded. We explain Allah Almighty's verses. Yes.

Those who believe in Allah and His Messenger and do righteous deeds and are engaged in good works, who reform the bad traits, wishes and desires of their selves for Allah's sake, who guard against (?) what Allah has forbidden and avoid bad acts, then do good works and, by continuing the good works they do, become rooted in their faith, those who take on the ethics of Allah Almighty.

Then those who turn to taqwa. That is, if, paying attention to halal and haram and avoiding doubtful things, they continue good works, then for what they wanted and tasted before, their sins are forgiven them. Yes.

As understood from this verse, it declares that Allah Almighty is At-Tawwab, and that, with His attribute Al-Ghaffar, He forgives the sins of those who believe in Him and turn back realizing the evils they did. When people understand that they are sinners in the sight of Allah, Allah Almighty announces to people the good news that by turning to Allah Almighty they will attain His pardon and forgiveness, that the sins they committed will be forgiven them and they will be pardoned — this Allah Almighty announces to people. Yes.

Allah loves those who do good; only those who fear Allah do good. And since those who fear Allah will not do evil, they become worthy of Allah's love.
