Eat from the clean and permissible provisions that Allah has provided for you and fear Allah whom you believe in.
Tafsir
Allah (swt) sent human beings to the realm of property and clothed them in the guise of bodies. Since Allah, the Creator of beings, knows what these bodies will need, He addresses people with His Verses; O you who believe! Eat from what Allah has made clean and lawful for you, in order for people to live healthy and see their needs in the world, to provide for their children who are entrusted to their care, to provide for them, to be in good health and to fulfill their duty of servitude to Allah, Allah commands us to eat and drink, without wasting, from what He has given us as lawful within His command. Whoever does the opposite and makes what Allah has made lawful for mankind unlawful for his own soul, such people have crossed the limit and have disobeyed Allah.
What is said in the video
Eat of the pure and lawful provision Allah has given you, and fear Allah, in whom you have believed, He says.
Allah Almighty, sending mankind to the world of dominion, clothed him in the garment of the body. Since Allah, who created all beings, knows what these bodies need (?), addressing people with His verses: O you who believe!
Allah saying, Eat of what I have made pure and lawful for you, so that people may live healthily and meet their needs in the world, and, for the children entrusted to them, within that responsibility, provide their sustenance, be healthy in serving Allah, and fulfil the duty of servitude, for this, Allah commands us to eat and drink without waste, within our lifetime, of what is lawful, of what He has given as lawful. As lawful. Who does the opposite of this? What Allah has made lawful for people, if one makes unlawful for his own self, if such people overstep the limit, they have opposed Allah. Now, some Muslim, believing brothers of ours say: I have made this food unlawful for my self.
Why are you doing this? I ask. Because my self loved it very much, he says. So as not to fulfil what my self loves so much, just to strike that blow on its head, I have vowed this, he says: I won't eat it until I die.
On the surface it looks very nice. But when I hold it against the verse, it is the opposite.
I go by appearance. Then how will this person struggle with his self? Now the matter changes. He won't say: until I die. I love this very much. To strike his self on the head, until my self says: give it if you want, give it if you want, give, give, until it says, I have given this up too, I will not eat this. If he says that, what happens? I will reform my self. Then, then you have made it a habit. That is, you have come to be able to rule over what your self desires, as you wish. (?)
Nafs-i safiya is the highest state of the nafs.
These people go to the tavern too. To the tavern.
(?) they go to the nightclub too, to get the people there out of there, to (?) the truth to the people there, but going to such places, if it affects this person, there is good in (?). But if he goes, is not affected by it there, if he goes purely to save the people there, nafs-i safiya is this. And, it says, from nafs-i ammara to nafs-i safiya, he enters the state of every nafs and leaves it. The state of every nafs.
You see him in the tavern. It's drinking time. He has gone there to give advice to someone. He has seen a friend of his at that table. He has sat down at his table. To warn him that this is forbidden, that he gives his family's sustenance at home away here, and that it is a sin before Allah.
You see this in many places. But he does not do it for his own self. He does it to warn those there. This is nafs-i safiya.
A person who cannot rise to nafs-i safiya is affected by such things and cannot go to such places either.
I suppose it is understood.
