Tafsir
Allah (swt) has forbidden those things that are harmful to the human body in His Shari'ah rulings and made them haram for human beings. Since wine is harmful to the human body, drinking it is forbidden by Allah. Since Allah, the Creator of the human being, knows very well what is beneficial and what is harmful to the human body, He has forbidden the objects that are harmful to human beings. He has forbidden them to people. Forbidden objects are filth.
Gambling is also filth. Those who leave their children hungry at home and give their money and goods to people who do not know themselves, who do not fear Allah, and who collect without any regard for halal and haram, will not only not be saved from sin and torment, but they will also lose their money and goods in people's tears, The money and goods eaten by people who take them by extinguishing their family hearths are haram for the people who take them, and the people who eat haram and kill their hearts by eating haram and eating and spending it without fearing Allah are also cruel to their souls and what they eat is filth.
It is also unclean to eat animals slaughtered by idol worshippers, polytheists and polytheists in the name of idols. Their slaughtering of animals, killing them before they have bled, killing them before they have bled, i.e. before the blood has completely drained from their veins, makes the animal a carcass, so such animals are also unclean to eat. At the same time, there is no God other than Allah, so that animals slaughtered in His name can be offered to people in the name of that other God. People who believe and know Allah as one, and eat animals slaughtered in the name of idols as partners to Allah, are turning their backs on Allah, the One and only Owner of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and they are disbelieving in Allah. Eating them is also haram. Since the haram is also unclean, animals slaughtered in the name of idols are also unclean in this respect and cannot be eaten.
Arrows of chance are also filth because they are part of gambling. In the time of the ancient Arabs, people used to mark a few pieces of wood and leave one or two empty. Those who drew the marked ones would get rid of the goods they were going to give, and those who drew the empty ones would give the price of the goods and distribute them to the poor. These are also forbidden as they are a kind of games of chance. Such games are a form of shirk, since the human nafs is inclined to gambling and Satan tempts people to gamble, and the goods that are distributed are not for Allah but for their own nafs. Therefore, such games are forbidden. What Allah has forbidden is filth.
The believing people who believe in Allah and the Hereafter, who abstain from such deeds, become pure servants of Allah by obeying Allah's commands, increasing their faith in their hearts, because they fear Allah and love Allah so much. It is through their behavior that Allah Ta'ala puts faith upon faith in the hearts of such people and leads them to salvation and victory.
O man! Do not be cruel to your soul by destroying the eternal Hereafter for the pleasure and life of this world which will end one day! As Allah (swt) says in His verse, always use your mind. Compare the good and the bad in your soul and turn towards the truth. Allah (swt) commands us to always use our intellect. Because the intellect was created in a state to distinguish between good and evil and was given to the most honored creation, the human being. Submit to the judgment of your mind and you will be saved.
What is said in the video
O you who believe! Wine, gambling, standing stones, idols, fortune-telling and arrows of chance are filth, the work of Satan. Keep away from them, so that you may attain salvation. Yes, Allah Almighty, so that people may attain success, that people's rights not usurp one another, in a scourge like gambling; yes, if it is wine, that is, drink, it ruins the activity of a person's brain cells, makes a person drunk and, if it brings the most honourable person down to a lowly state, standing stones, idols, that is, that there is no god but Allah, and if they associate partners with Allah; fortune-telling and arrows of chance: fortune-telling, if they give news of the future, of the unseen, whereas the keys of the unseen are with Allah.
Arrows of chance: nowhere, no period of this universe was created by chance. There is no such thing as chance. Everything is within a program, events within people's destinies. Until the Day of Judgment, not a single living being that will come (?). That We should not know what they will not do.
So these, in order to distance a person from religion, are the filth of Satan and of (?) taghuts.
Allah Almighty, in His noble ruling, forbidding in His verse what is harmful to the human body, has made these unlawful for people. Since wine is harmful to the human body, it is forbidden by Allah for this reason.
They don't drink wine; they drink raki, they drink vodka, they drink champagne. Since these are all kinds of alcohol, and since wine is the father of alcohol, in this case all alcoholic drinks fall under this. Since wine is harmful to the human body, it is forbidden by Allah for this reason. What is beneficial and what is harmful to the human body, Allah, who created man, knows very well; so He has made known the things that would harm people by forbidding them. He has made them unlawful for people. And unlawful things are also filth. The unlawful things are filth.
Gambling is filth too. The money won from it: those who leave their families hungry at home give their money and property to people who know no bounds, who do not fear Allah, who gather without regard for lawful or unlawful; by giving it, he himself, from sin and punishment, cannot be saved; and also, this money and property, taken amid people's tears, putting out family hearths: the money and property eaten by those who take it, just as it is unlawful for the people who take it, those who eat the unlawful kill their hearts by eating the unlawful, and eating and spending it without fearing Allah is these people's wrongdoing against their own selves, and what they eat is filth.
Standing stones, that is idols; those who worship idols, polytheists; the polytheists', in the name of idols, eating the animals they slaughter is also filth. Meat not slaughtered in Allah's name is unlawful; it is not eaten.
Their strangling the animals, killing and cutting them up without letting their blood flow, without the blood draining, that is, the blood in their veins, before the blood in their veins has fully drained, killing them, since it turns the animal into carrion, eating such animals is filth. Also, since it was not slaughtered in Allah's name, it is filth. At the same time, there is no other god besides Allah, that the animals slaughtered in his name, in the name of that other god, you would offer to people. For people who believe and know Allah as One, eating animals slaughtered in the name of idols, associating partners with Allah, is, toward the One, of the heavens and the earth and what is between the two the Owner, Allah, a turning of the back; God forbid, as far as denying Allah they go.
Eating these is also unlawful. Since unlawful things are filth, animals slaughtered in the name of idols are also, in this respect, impure and are not eaten.
Arrows of chance are also filth, since they belong to gambling. In the time of the old Arabs, people among themselves would mark several pieces of wood and leave one or two blank. Those who drew the marked ones were spared the goods they were to give; those who drew blank paid the value of the goods put forward and distributed them to the poor. Since these also count as a kind of game of chance, they were made unlawful. Since such games are the human self's inclination toward gambling and Satan's temptation of people, and since these distributed goods were not for Allah but for their own selves, these too are a kind of shirk.
In this respect, such games were also made unlawful. What Allah Almighty has made unlawful is filth. Whoever keeps away from such things: believing people who believe in Allah and the Hereafter, because they fear Allah and love Allah greatly, by observing Allah's commands increase the faith in their hearts and become sincere servants of Allah. Through such behaviour of theirs, Allah Almighty, into the hearts of such people, places faith upon faith and brings these people to salvation and victory. So, O man! For the pleasures of this world that will one day end, and for living, do not wrong your own self by ruining the eternal world of the Hereafter.
As Allah Almighty says in His verse, always use your reason; good and bad, weighing them within yourself, yes, turn to the truth. Allah Almighty commands us to always use our reason. Because reason, created in the (?) to separate good and bad, was given to man, the most honourable creation; (?)
