Tafsir
The disbelievers among the Children of Israel disobeyed Allah's commands and were cursed by the curses of Hadrat David and Hadrat Jesus.
According to the narration, the cursed people were the people of Eyle and the Ashâb Maidâ. Although the people of Eyle were forbidden to fish on Saturday because of their sins, they disobeyed this prohibition and started fishing by breaking the waves. For this reason, by the prayers of Hadrat Dawud 'alaihis-salâm', they were afflicted with calamities and their forms were changed into monkeys.
As for the Ashâb Maide, during the time of Jesus Christ, they ate the food that came down from the sky as a miracle, but they still did not believe. Thereupon, with the prayer of Hazrat Jesus, their forms were changed into rhinos.
This was despite the miracles they had seen, but they were disobedient and, being a transgressing people, they exceeded the limits of Allah's prohibitions.
Although the Verses address the past, Allah's Verses address the present and the future. For the sake of the Prophet (PBUH), the destruction and change of forms have been eliminated. Even though there will be such people until the Day of Resurrection, and even though they will not turn into monkeys and apes, the afflictions that Allah has given them show that they are in the same vortex.
What is said in the video
Those among the Children of Israel who disbelieved were cursed by the tongue of David and of Jesus, son of Mary. This is because they did not listen and overstepped the limit. Those who disbelieved — so what does Allah Almighty say? Those of the Children of Israel who disbelieved. So among them there are also those who live by Islam. Who are these? Their rabbis and priests, and those who follow their rabbis and priests. Those who abide by Allah's verses, the verses of that time. That is, those who are themselves upon the nature of the religion of Islam. Yes. Except these, except these, those who disbelieved were cursed by the tongue of David and of Jesus, son of Mary.
This is because they did not listen and overstepped the limits.
Let us both read it and, if needed, explain it. Those of the Children of Israel who disbelieved, because they did not listen to Allah's commands, were cursed through the imprecations of David and Jesus. According to a narration, those who were cursed are the people of Ayla and the companions of the Table. Of these, the people of Ayla, although because of their sins they had been forbidden to fish on Saturday, did not heed this ban and, resorting to a legal trick, began fishing by building a breakwater. For this reason, through David's prayers, they met with calamities, and their forms were changed into monkeys.
It is narrated that
on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday there are no fish at all in the sea. On Saturday the sea teems with fish. Our Lord put them to a test. Everyone is to prove what kind of person he is, after all.
In this situation they fall into hardship. In one narration, Satan appears to them in human form. That is the narration. But it is a strong narration. 'Let me give you an idea,' he says. An idea. 'You,' he says, 'build a breakwater. On Saturday,' he says, 'when these fish come, close the breakwater, and fish on the other days,' he says. They like this idea. Thereupon they start building breakwaters. Even though their rabbis told them that what they were doing was trickery and that in the end they would incur the wrath of Allah Almighty, they do not listen to their rabbis and they start building the breakwater.
And their rabbis say: Allah Almighty will send a calamity on you, and we too will be struck by this calamity. So that they do not suffer the same disasters together with you, they too build a barrier between themselves. (?) they build a wall between themselves. Every week they go down and give these people of Ayla advice. One of them says to the rabbi: you advise them so much. They do not listen to your advice. Why are you still advising these people? they say. Thereupon their rabbis say: perhaps Allah Almighty will send them a calamity. Because we did not tell them, did not enjoin the good, perhaps this calamity that strikes them will strike us too.
So, to be free of responsibility, we are building a wall between us, they say.
They finish (?). The priests and rabbis finish the wall between them. When they go down again to advise them, they see that in the town monkeys are roaming. And tears are flowing from their eyes.
According to one narration, they live for about two or three days, and there they perish.
So, because they did not listen, through the imprecation of David (peace be upon him)
they are cursed.
Among all the prophets in the universe from our father Adam until now, the only Prophet who never invoked a curse is the Prophet (peace be upon him). It is Muhammad (peace be upon him). The reason: he came as a mercy to the worlds. No calamity comes out of the mouth of mercy. Yes. As for the companions of the Table, in the time of Jesus, although they ate from the Table that came down from the sky as a miracle, they still did not believe. Maide is a complete meal. 'If you send down a meal for us from the sky, we (?) that you are a prophet,' they said. Even though Jesus sent down a table from the sky, that is, a meal, they still denied. Thereupon, through the prayer of Jesus, their forms were turned into swine, that is, pigs, turned. Into pigs.
Doctor Darwin crying 'I found it', saying man comes from the monkey — how beautifully it confirms the verse of Allah Almighty. 'They are like four-legged beasts roaming the earth,' it says. He tries to prove that his ancestor was an animal. In that case he proves that he himself is like the four-legged beasts roaming the earth. And in the end, it says what you claim to have found. Over 1400 years ago Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran, it is written like this, they say. But still on television they advertise that man comes from the monkey. Everyone will advertise himself. He will prove to himself what kind of person he is.
'Is there no room in Hell?' says Allah Almighty. Is there no room in Hell? Yes.
This being so is because, although they saw the miracles they asked for, they did not listen, and indeed, being a transgressing people, they overstepped the forbidden limits that Allah had set.
Although the verses address the past, Allah's verses are addressed to time and to the future. For the sake of the Prophet (peace be upon him), destructions and the changing of forms have been lifted. Since such people will exist until the Day of Judgement, and even though people's forms may not turn into monkeys or swine, through the calamities Allah gives them, it shows that they are in the same whirlpool. 'We give them two or three calamities a year,' says our Lord. He has lifted the destructions; with calamities He makes peoples go through much deprivation. So that they may not say: 'Had you given us a calamity, we (?) would have known you.' So Allah Almighty, with storms, gales, hurricanes, well, tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanoes and disasters, tries to warn them. But whatever covenant a person gave, upon that covenant he lives out his covenant.
