Translation

“Oh My Dear Lord, give me wisdom and make me among the righteous (salih).”

Tafsir

When Hadrat Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm' said, "Include me among the good," he meant that his rank would be raised and that Allah (swt) would be pleased with him. In this case, Allah, accepting the prayer of Hazrat Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm', called Hazrat Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm' his Khalilim.

Hazrat Ibrahim alayhissalam also asked Allah (swt) for wisdom. Wisdom is a state given to the Prophets and the successors of the Prophets, so that people can perceive and understand the wisdom and subtleties in the words spoken by the Prophets and the successors of the Prophets over time.

In this case, O people! Allah (swt) proves His existence by explaining His existence and that there is no other God but Allah (swt) in a language that every mind can understand. If a person forgets his Creator at the time of his life and lives as if he is free to follow his own desires, feeling that he is irresponsible and ignorant of Allah's commands upon him, he is being unjust to his own soul and will be subjected to eternal torment.

The worldly realm is a dwelling place for a little while on it. The Hereafter is eternal and permanent. It is not worth buying the eternal torment of the Hereafter for the pleasures of the transient world.

What is said in the video

Surah Ash-Shu'ara, verse 83 — we have come to it.

Yes, verse 83: My Lord, grant me wisdom and include me among the righteous. His saying 'grant me wisdom' means: let me attain the secret of what happens at the end of what I will do. That is, when You tell me something, what meaning it has — grant me feelings, a fine inspiration, so that I can understand it. For example, when Khidr (peace be upon him) made a hole in the ship, Moses says, 'You did a very bad thing,' but the wisdom of it Khidr knows; Moses does not. What is the wisdom? Up ahead there is a king who seizes every sound ship. Since these children are destitute, and the king will not take the damaged ship, so that, with that ship as these children's livelihood, they could secure their sustenance, (?).

Something like this is the meaning of wisdom. Abraham (peace be upon him) saying 'include me among the righteous' means he wished his rank to be raised and Allah Almighty to be pleased with him. So Allah, who accepted the prayer of Abraham (peace be upon him), said of Abraham (peace be upon him): 'My intimate friend.'

Abraham (peace be upon him) also asked Allah Almighty for wisdom. Wisdom is a state given to prophets and the heirs of prophets, such that people, in the words spoken by prophets and heirs of prophets, sense and understand the wisdom and subtleties over time. For example, my Lord granted me wisdom too. Pay attention! I wrote four thousand pages in the Quran commentary. These are writings I wrote. We should say: what my Lord had me write. Is there anything in them that contradicts anything else? Always, Quran verses support Quran verses. And the subtleties and meanings in it Allah Almighty lets those He has given wisdom sense them.

what meaning it has. He gives a second meaning, then a third meaning, then a tenth meaning, then a twentieth meaning. Meaning by meaning it rises. Yes. So, O people! Allah Almighty explains His existence and that there is no other god but Allah in a language every mind can grasp, and so proves His existence. In the midst of living, man forgets his Creator and, with the whims of his nafs, living as if aimless, feels that he is not responsible. If he lives unaware of Allah's commands upon him, he will have wronged his own self and will thus be subjected to eternal punishment. The worldly realm is a place to stay for a short time.

The realm of the hereafter, however, is eternal and everlasting. It is not worth being deceived by the pleasures of the transient world and buying the everlasting punishment of the hereafter. Yes.
