Translation

Allah has not determined (things called) Baheera, Saaebeh, Waseela and Haam (to be permissible). But infidels make slanders against Allah with lies and most of them would not use their intellect.

Tafsir

Believing in the tales they have invented as religion, people have made forbidden to themselves what Allah has not commanded, what He has made lawful.

What is Bahira? In the Jahiliyyah period, people used to break the ear of a camel that had calved five times and the fifth calf was a male, and let that camel go. They would not make use of that camel again. Such a camel was called Bahira.

Saiba are camels sacrificed on behalf of idols. They would make a request to the idols and in return, when their request was granted, they would donate a camel to the idol. When their wishes were fulfilled, they would release the camel and make it forbidden for them to use it again. This one was called Saiba.

And the wilayah were the sheep that were dedicated to idols. If a sheep gave birth to a female, it belonged to its owner. If it gave birth to a male, it was sacrificed to idols. If a sheep gave birth to a male and a female, they would say that the female was reunited with her brother and they would not sacrifice the male sheep.

Ham is a male camel from whose offspring ten camels were born, and his back was forbidden. That is, they would let him go free and not burden him. Every pasture and water was free for it. When they died, they would eat the flesh of men and women.

Allah has not justified such events. But the disbelievers have slandered Allah by attributing their own invented and superstitious beliefs to Him. In fact, most of such people have no brains. If their minds had worked, they would have used their intellect at Kalu Bela, surrendered to Allah, the Creator of them, and believed in Him as Lord. In another verse, Allah (swt) says that one believer is worth three, five or seven disbelievers. He declares that this is the mind of Islam working in terms of reason.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Ma'idah, verse 103: Allah has not ordained anything called Bahira, Sa'iba, Wasila or Ham. Names of idols. These are names of idols. Among the Arabs, by custom, they worship idols and slaughter sacrifices for them. A sacrifice not slaughtered in Allah's name — these slaughtered in the name of idols — is forbidden. Did it create, so that you slaughter its own property as a sacrifice to it? Yes, Allah has not ordained anything called Bahira, Sa'iba, Wasila or Ham. But the unbelievers falsely invent lies against Allah. And most of them do not use their heads, He says.

Truly, if their heads worked, they would not say one Muslim is worth three unbelievers.

So people, because they deify their nafs, their nafs — because of their stubbornness, faith (?). Those who drown in the darkness of shirk.

Those who slander Allah and become His enemies invent religion by their own reasoning. Religion. And I refrain from calling these religion; even though I say it, my tongue does not want to say this word. Since there is no religion other than Allah's religion, I don't want to call them religion, and sometimes, if you pay attention, I call them their own ideologies. Ideologies. Religion, on the other hand, is the command of the Creator who created the universe, who preserves the order and unity of this universe, who holds its rule under His power — that is religion. Yes. The command of our Lord is religion.

The others are ideology.

Believing the fables they invented as religion — we say, believing them as religion — they have forbidden to themselves what Allah made lawful without His command.

What is Bahira? In the Age of Ignorance, when a camel had given birth five times and the fifth offspring was male, people would slit that camel's ear and set it free. They would no longer touch the camel. They would not touch that camel. They would no longer make any use of that camel. Such a camel they called Bahira. Sa'iba are camels vowed in the name of idols. A wish was made of the idols, and in return, when their wish was fulfilled, they would donate a camel to that idol. When these people's wishes came true, they would release that camel and forbid themselves from ever using it again. This was called Sa'iba.

Those who in this way forbid themselves what Allah Almighty made lawful. Those who claim their own ideologies as religion, and make what Allah made lawful a torment for their own nafs.

Sa'iba are camels vowed in the name of idols. We explained that too. Wasila are sheep dedicated to idols. If a sheep gave birth to a female, it belonged to its owner. If it gave birth to a male, it was sacrificed to the idols, they say. It will give birth to a female, you see, the females will benefit that owner; if it is male, it goes to his idol, he cannot benefit from it. (?) Look at these people's heads. If a sheep gave birth to a female and a male, they would say, "It has joined its sister," and would not sacrifice that male sheep. "It has joined its sister" — that is, they spared it for its sister's sake.

And Ham is a male camel from whose loins ten camels were born, which sired ten camels of its own kind; that is, Ham is a male camel from whose loins ten camels were born, and riding on its back was considered forbidden, that is, they set it free and loaded nothing on it. Every pasture and water was free to it. And when it died, women and men would eat of its meat. (?) not slaughtered; when it dies. That is, carrion. Yes. Allah Almighty has not ordained such practices. But the unbelievers, ascribing their own inventions and false beliefs to Allah, have slandered Him. And most such people do not use their heads anyway. If they did, they would fear Allah who created the worlds and submit to Him.

Again, if their heads had worked, they would grasp how they were created, reflect on how these worlds were created, and submit to the Owner of this order, which no human hand could produce.

But the unbelievers, ascribing their own inventions and false beliefs to Allah, have slandered Him. And most such people do not use their heads anyway. If their heads had worked, at Qalu Bala they would have used their reason, submitted to Allah who created them, known their Lord as Lord, and believed in Him. At Qalu Bala, when Allah Almighty said, "Alastu bi-Rabbikum," when He said "I am your Lord," these saw Allah Almighty as like themselves, that is, in human form, and, puffed up by pride and arrogance, could not accept that Allah created them. Out of pride and arrogance they waited for the Lord of their imagination.

The Lord. Yet there is no god but Allah, so that the Lord they imagined could appear to them. In this case Allah Almighty made a covenant with everyone one by one, and as the result of this covenant He wrote each person's wish for him as destiny. And within their destinies He placed characters in them. Within those characters, each person took on his responsibility through the deeds he would bring about by his earnest will. Yes.

In a verse Allah Almighty also says that one believer, depending on the case, is worth three, five or seven unbelievers. By this, both in strength and in reason, it means to declare that Islam is strong and that its head works. Yes.
