Tell them the news about Adam’s two sons as a truth. When they both made offerings, but it was accepted from one (Abel) and not from the other (Cain). Tafsir
When Hazrat Adam (as) descended to the earth by Allah's command, met Hazrat Eve (as) and began to reproduce, they were informed to offer a sacrifice to Allah. Upon this, Abel chose the biggest and most spectacular sheep from his flock, Cain chose the weakest of his flock and the two brothers left the sheep on a hill. Abel's offering was accepted. Cain, on the other hand, realizes the value of Abel in the eyes of Allah, and a fire of envy burns in his heart against Abel and he says, "I swear I will kill you.
Abel said to his brother, who was a year older than him, that Allah accepts only the offerings of the owners of piety. In other words, when a person gives his wealth to Allah, sincerely, generously, generously and with complete submission, with piety, with a sincere heart, Allah not only accepts the offerings of such people, but also gives them offerings from Himself.
Because existence belongs to Allah. Allah does not need creatures and sacrifices. They constitute a test and trial for people and a wisdom and miraculous circumstances for future events. For example, the sacrifice that was accepted from Abel, the sacrifice of Ishmael to Allah by Hazrat Abraham, the sending of this sacrifice to Ishmael as the price of his life by Jibril Amin, and the gift of a ram to Ishmael by Hazrat Abel as the first people, In the rapid flow of worldly time, from Hazrat Abel to Hazrat Ishmael, a short time has passed compared to the hereafter, and the ram was sent to Hazrat Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm' as if it was received only yesterday, and these are Allah's miracles to people.
What is said in the video
We left off at verse 27 of Surah Al-Ma'idah. Yes. “Tell them the story of Adam's two sons in truth,” He says. Allah Almighty. To whom? To people. To the people He will create until the Day of Judgement, to them.
When they had each offered a sacrifice, it was accepted from one, but not accepted from the other. It was accepted from Abel; from Cain it was not accepted. Why was it not accepted? We will explain that now. The brother whose sacrifice was not accepted, out of jealousy, said to Abel: “I swear I will kill you.” (?) “Allah accepts only from the God-fearing,” he said, and added. In the other verse, probably, Abel will say to Cain: if you kill me, I will never raise my hand against you. That is probably in the other verse, his saying (?). In this case, Abel is one year younger than Cain. One year younger.
Abel's sister — our mother Eve used to give birth to twins in the same year. She was more beautiful.
Abel's (?) somewhat than Cain's sister; Cain's sister was somewhat more beautiful. Abel's, on the other hand, was somewhat less beautiful than her. In beauty. I can't say ugly, because Allah says He created you in the most beautiful form. I can't use the word ugly. That's why I'm struggling for words here. When we say things, let us never contradict the verses. What does Allah Almighty say? I created human beings in the most beautiful form. I created them very beautifully, He says. If we say ugly here, it contradicts the verse. In terms of beauty, one was somewhat lacking. Abel's sister, that is, was somewhat lacking compared to Cain's sister.
For this reason Abel marries Cain's beautiful sister. So he is jealous, of course. Cain is jealous. He too has to marry the other one, but there is jealousy inside him. (?) In this situation, Allah Almighty's command — from them, for a sacrifice to be accepted, they are commanded.
Cain takes the most impressive, the biggest sheep of his flock, and leaves it on a mountaintop. Cain takes the weakest of his flock, the worst, the weakest, takes it and leaves it there. Now, can you set aside the worst of what Allah created for Allah? In this case, can the faith of Abel and Cain, or the state of Abel and Cain, be the same? He takes the most impressive of his flock, the biggest, the most beautiful, the finest ram, and the other takes the weakest, the most (?). Meanwhile, by Allah's command, Gabriel (peace be upon him) takes Abel's sheep and brings it. Abel's — of course, all of these are the result of a program. That it had been programmed beforehand comes to light.
From where? From the dream in which Abraham saw that he would sacrifice Ishmael. And Abraham will be true to that word, and Ishmael will submit completely to Abraham. They will be tested with one another, and our Lord will show them to us as an example and a lesson (?). Then he will bring the sheep he took to Abraham as a ransom for Ishmael's life and give it to him. As Gabriel (peace be upon him) brings the sheep, saying Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, when he proclaims the takbir, Abraham looks and sees that Gabriel (peace be upon him) is bringing a sheep; already angry that the knife would not cut, he (?) the knife on a stone.
That day the knife (?) the stone in two, that sharp (?), Allah Almighty commands the knife not to cut.
Seeing that, Abraham understands the situation. He says Allahu Akbar wa lillahil-hamd. All praise and thanks be to Allah, he says. Allah is the Greatest, all praise and thanks be to Him. Long before, (?) the future; these worlds are each a program, each a lesson for people; Allah's oneness, His existence, that every soul will taste death, that He is aware of every atom of the universe — Allah in every way makes this known to us. In this case, if people still (?), and still busy themselves with the states of their nafs, if these people, in the face of so many miracles, to the point of not using their minds, drag themselves to ruin, a person moving by his partial free will, through the deeds he has done, himself becomes responsible, and he himself leaves himself exposed to the punishment he wished for.
Allah protect us. In our few hours of life in this passing world, so that we are not turned from our home of eternal bliss, listening very closely to Allah's verses is necessary. Yes. What does it say?
In this (?) verse, let us open up this part. When, by Allah's command, Adam (peace be upon him) came down to earth and, meeting our mother Eve, they began to multiply, it was made known that a sacrifice should be vowed to Allah.
Thereupon Abel, from his flock, the biggest and most impressive (?) chooses. Cain chooses the weakest of his flock, and the two brothers leave the sheep on top of a hill. Abel's offering is accepted; Cain, since his offering was not accepted, understands Abel's worth in Allah's sight. And the fire of envy burns in his heart against Abel, and “I swear I will kill you,” he says. In fact, in this envy, those marriage matters also come to light.
Abel said to his brother, one year older than him: Allah accepts only the offering of the God-fearing. That is, when a person gives his wealth to Allah sincerely, the best of it, generously and with complete submission, offering it gladly, these are accepted in Allah's sight. Thus given in this way, sacrifices, or else alms, the charity given too, in this way, but gladly, generously, what Allah has given, returning it to Allah, giving it — giving to His servants gladly, not deeming others worthy of what he does not deem worthy of himself, and if he wants good for himself, to him too, just as good, (?) — for Allah Almighty says, your as long as you do not give in charity from what pleases you, from what you love as long as you do not give in charity, your faith is not complete.
Faith is not complete. As long as he does not give in charity from what he loves, for good, for good deeds. So pay attention to some people. What they don't eat themselves, rotten things, or things so bad they can't be eaten — they offer these to others. They give them. Then they say, I gave you this and that. Allah protect us. Don't consider others worthy of what you would not eat yourself. From the best of what you eat, it says, offer them too. He too is your brother. He too will eat. He too is human. Yes.
That is, when a person gives his wealth to Allah sincerely, the best of it, very generously, with complete submission, offering it gladly, these are accepted in Allah's sight. And to those who give like this, Allah Almighty — one to 3, 5, 70, I'm not saying, look. Not 100 either. One to 700. Perhaps even more. What a beautiful example Allah Almighty gives. About ears of grain. A hundred grains in each ear. Each (?) has produced 7 ears. Well, it has produced 7 heads. So, seven hundred. Perhaps even better.
For people to give donations, Allah (?) people. Open the doors of good. Give from what I have given you. Give charity. Do not be (?) stingy. Do not get your hand used to being tight. Become the rich ones of the hereafter tomorrow, says Allah Almighty. Yes.
Because all existence belongs to Allah. This whole universe is Allah's. Allah has no need of His creatures, of sacrifices. He has no need. Already (?), He was showing people. What would He do with a sacrifice? He is the one who creates anyway. And what do the Jews say? Allah's hand is tight, He is stingy, they say. Allah is poor and we are rich, they say. It is for saying things like this, it says, that they were cursed. (?) How they slandered Allah, it says. (?) Allah is rich, it says. His hand is open; Allah is generous. If it were not so, would He offer people so many blessings (?)? Would He make man the vicegerent on earth?
In the best way, what people's bodies need, what their bodies need, He creates, puts in the world, gives to them. Eat, eat and drink, but do not waste, He says. Waste is forbidden. Don't waste. Eat, drink. Share, give charity. Eat. Yes. If Allah were stingy, would He give you this? He would hold back. He would always leave you in hardship. He would not give, would not meet your needs. Then a person suffers hardship. Suffers oppression. But look, He has opened everything to people. He has offered man the hereafter, eternal life, too. Could such a Lord of ours be (?)? Allah protect us, these are the words said by people who listen to themselves.
Can you accept such people as human? That is, a person has a mind. A person is human only through his deeds. With some of his deeds he is (?) an animal, it says. Now, man, with his partial free will, with an honourable place given to him, with an honourable place and the fine mind He gave him, man has become capable. If this capable person has lost his capability, and, in a way not even an animal would think, says Allah (?), says He is poor and we are rich — does this person have a mind?
Would you regard this person as a human being and listen to him?
Yes. So Allah Almighty gives people every kind of example. Whoever has a mind uses it.
Because all existence belongs to Allah. Allah has no need of His creatures, of sacrifices. These are people's trial, their test, and for events yet to come they constitute a wisdom and miraculous circumstances. Miraculous. Like the sacrifice brought for Ishmael.
For example, this sacrifice accepted from Abel — when Abraham was sacrificing Ishmael to Allah, by Gabriel the Trustworthy, Gabriel the Trustworthy, with the takbir, this sacrifice being sent as a ransom for Ishmael's life. Abel, as among the first people, Abel, as among the first people, (?), the first people only. Yes, Abel, as among the first people, giving Ishmael a ram as a gift. Yes, to him, to his brother, and to such a prophet, giving a ram as a gift. Yes, in the fast flow of worldly time, from Abel to Ishmael, compared to the world of the hereafter, that only a short time passed; as if (?), its being sent to Abraham (peace be upon him) — these are Allah's showing people a miracle.
Yes. Yes.
