Translation

Oh people of the book! Our Messenger came to you at a time when there was a gap between Prophets. He proclaims truths to you so that (on the Day of Judgment) you won’t be able to say; “A Messenger of glad tidings and warning did not come to us”. Thus, a Messenger of glad tidings and warning came to you. Allah is The Almighty.

Tafsir

O People of the Book! People to whom the Book and Prophets came, a Prophet was sent to you at a time when the Prophets were interrupted; the year of Jesus' birth is called Gregorian one. The calendar year began as before Christ and after Christ. After the year of Jesus' birth, Allah did not send a Prophet to the people for four hundred years. Allah (swt) is referring to the calendar year during this long period of time, when the Prophets were interrupted, and He says, "We sent you our messenger after these long years.

At a time when humanity was living immoral lives, worshipping idols, burying girls alive in the ground and people were waiting for a savior to come, Allah sent His Messenger and Prophet, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), as a source of guidance, a bearer of good news of paradise and a scarer of hell.

He explains the truth to you. He separates truth from falsehood. He teaches you what you do not know. He shows you the paths that will lead you out of the swamp of disbelief, out of oppression into the light. Allah has sent His Messenger and His Word to you as a favor from Allah, so that tomorrow on the Day of Resurrection you may not say, 'There has not come to us a bearer of glad tidings and a warner.

(Allah is all-powerful.) Allah is exempt from all deficient attributes. Since He knows all the things that people will say that will come to their minds and that will be justified by their ego and that will defend themselves against Allah, Allah will interrupt their questions against Allah by creating events against the questions that people will ask, by creating events that these people have committed within their own will, by holding themselves as witnesses against themselves, and their questions against Allah will be interrupted.

These events are among the attributes of Allah's Godhood. Allah, Who has programmed this whole universe with a program and has made every human being a witness against his own soul and has given them their desires and wishes as their destiny, knows what those who will come until the Day of Resurrection will do and say, with His prior knowledge. There is no creature that will come until the Day of Resurrection that Allah (swt) does not know what it will do.

In this respect, Allah (swt) is omnipotent because He has created His creatures under His sovereignty and brought them under His sovereignty.

What is said in the video

Yes, in verse 19 of Surah Al-Ma'idah our Lord says (?): O People of the Book! To whom is He speaking, People of the Book? To the Jews, to the Christians, the Book, those whose essence is from the Book. That is, those who do not believe in the Prophet (peace be upon him), who turn their back on the Quran but judge by the other books: the People of the Book. These are disbelievers. He is calling out to them. Our messenger came to you at a time when there was a break between the prophets, it says. Our messenger came. What is this? A time when there was a break between the prophets: between Jesus and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) about 400 years passed.

There had never been such a long gap between the prophets. So they became afraid: will the Day of Judgement come, why isn't our Lord sending a prophet; that is what He reminds them of. O People of the Book, Our messenger came to you at a time of break between the prophets, that is, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) came. He explains the truths to you, so that on the Day of Judgement you do not say no bringer of good news and warner came to us. Here, a bringer of good news and a warner has come to you. A bringer of good news and a warner has come. He came as a mercy to the worlds. He came to carry all people on his back.

So that there would be no suffering for any people, from his Lord, from our Lord, um, in return for the qualities given to him, he asked it of our Lord. He asked. He was merciful even to the polytheists. He was merciful even to the disbelievers. But when they denied him, rejected him, his chest would tighten. Yet he never complained to Allah Almighty. Allah Almighty, knowing his state, would say: (?) pay them no mind, would counsel him. Allah Almighty. Yes, including the prophets who came to the earth like this, the most merciful, the most compassionate of them, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), came to you.

He came as a mercy to the worlds, it says. Yes, so that you would not say no bringer of good news and warner came, here a bringer of good news and warner has come to you. Allah has full power over everything, it says. Allah Almighty has full power over everything. What does this mean? (?) when you were created in the state of lahut, that is, while you were spirit, when you were spirit, nafs and life, before you entered bodies, in (?) form, We know what characters you have, what qualities you have, He says. So, according to these qualities, We gave you characters. And fully, We know you first down to the details, (?) of your heart, what you do not know, We know, He said.

We know the secrets of the hearts, He said. And Allah Almighty, who knows what all people who will come until the Day of Judgement did, what they will do, has full power over everything. He knows everything. Yes.

O People of the Book! People to whom the Book and prophets came: at a time of break between the prophets, a prophet was sent to you.

The year of Jesus' birth was called year one AD. Year one. The calendar year, BC and AD, began. Yes. BC: those who lived before Jesus; AD: those who lived after Jesus. The Messenger of Allah, too, in the 400-odd year, um, prophethood coming to him: there is a time span of about 400 years, 400-odd years, in between.

For 400-odd years after the year of Jesus' birth Allah did not send people a prophet. Allah Almighty, referring to the calendar years within this long time, by using the address "at a time of break between the prophets", declares: after this (?), We sent Our messenger to you. yes, you (?): no warner, no frightener, no bringer of good news was sent to us; well, Allah Almighty's attribute of Godhood: all the questions people would ask Allah, it will have made manifest (?) Allah Almighty; in the Hereafter people will have no question to ask Allah Almighty, yes, they will run out of questions.

We too, what do we tell you? Listen to us. Keep listening. You will surely run out of questions. That's how it goes, I suppose. In what we explain, under the verses, the questions you would have asked, in the verses you find them. And so you run out of questions. But if these (?) had been told, there would be questions, questions, questions and questions without end. Yes.

When humanity was living immorally, worshipping idols, burying girls alive in the ground, and while people were waiting, when will a saviour come, Allah Almighty sent His messenger and beloved, the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad (peace be upon him), to people as a source of guidance, as a bringer of the good news of Paradise and a warner of Hell. Our Lord (?) mercy to people. Had I not sent you prophets, with the reason I gave you, you would have had to know Me. But My mercy reached you. I sent you prophets and books so that you would find the truth. Yes. Mercifully, Allah Almighty, to people, or whatever questions people would ask, of the people who will come until the Day of Judgement, whatever questions they would ask, He surely makes them manifest and cuts people off from questions toward Him. And people stand responsible for what they did, for their actual deeds.

There's no witness beside you? It cannot be, He says, that whatever comes out of your mouth is not written. That is, Allah Almighty means the Kiraman Katibin on our right and our left. It is impossible that there is no witness beside you, He says, that whatever comes out of your mouth is not written. And on the Day of Judgement, when you are in My presence, when you are gathered, alas! Everything, large and small, has been written here. What kind of thing is this, he will say. Yes. So people will watch both their words and their states.

People, as I always say, will use their reason. When a person is hungry, if they brought his favourite food before him, both hungry and his favourite food in front of him, when it comes he dives right into it. He starts eating so fast he can't breathe, because it's both tasty and he's very hungry. And it's his very tasty favourite food. This realm, this world: just as you cling to its thorny, (?), painful tree, why don't you cling like that to the delicious food of Paradise you're so hungry for? And that is the religion of Islam. If you cling to it like this, you will find life.

They keep saying when will a saviour come, and when that saviour comes, they turn their backs on him. May Allah protect us. Allah Almighty sent His messenger and beloved, the (?), Muhammad (peace be upon him), to people as a source of guidance, as a bringer of the good news of Paradise and a warner of Hell. He explains the truths to you. The truths, that is, according to the verse "he does not speak idly", he tells you the word of Allah. Because the truths are the word of al-Haqq. He does not speak of himself, it says. So, so, even the Prophet (peace be upon him) says in his hadiths: if a person (?) to me a word that does not correspond to the verses, that is not a hadith.

So when Allah Almighty says he is telling you those truths: O people, the messenger I sent to you from your Lord who created you tells you My words as the truth. Because I created your reason incomplete, you may have seen (?) as right. But your Lord is a merciful sovereign, abundant in giving, abundant in pardon. Follow the one who tells you the truth, so that tomorrow on the Day of Judgement your face won't be blackened, it says here. Yes, he tells the truth. Yes, he explains the truths to you. He separates truth from falsehood. Truth from falsehood. What is falsehood? People worshipping idols as Allah, I seek Allah's forgiveness, God forbid.

Calling Allah's created servants gods, and finally, on the Day of Judgement, when they meet them, those they worshipped will say this to them, will speak: O Allah, we were not even aware that these worshipped us, they will say. As a witness Allah is enough anyway; likewise we will all suffice as witnesses; so we will be witnesses to them. I will make you a witness over the prophets and your ummah over them, He says. What is our being witnesses over them? That they called Allah three, that they worshipped Jesus as Allah's son, that they did not come to the religion of Islam of our master (peace be upon him), that they did not believe in tawhid; we will be witnesses to that.

Yes. Because we believed in these things we explain, we became Muslims. That there is no god but Allah, that Allah has no wife or child, that He is eternal without beginning or end, everlasting, that all outcomes (?), and that all beings will finally return to Him, that on the Day of Judgement, in the Hereafter, we will be resurrected, that we will be called to account at the great court, and finally that every person, with the actual deeds he did, with his good deeds and sins, will go to his place. Because we believe this, we became Muslims. But against those who don't believe these we will bear witness, Allah.

Yes, so Allah's (?): I will make you a witness over all the prophets and your ummah witnesses over them, He says.

How beautiful the verses are, how beautiful to know the truth, how beautiful to judge by what is right. A person's heart opens, his inside opens. Yes. Yes.

He explains the truths to you. He separates truth from falsehood. He teaches you what you did not know. He shows you the ways that will bring you out of the swamp of kufr, out of darkness, into light. Of course, in the light of the verses.

His beloved, whom He sent to you as a grace from Allah, and through him His word, He announces to you, so that tomorrow on the Day of Judgement you do not say no bringer of good news and warner came to us; Allah bestows His grace on you. Allah has full power over everything, we say. Allah has full power over everything.

Allah is free from deficient attributes. We use this often anyway. What is "free from deficient attributes"? In Him no deficiency, no fault can be found. He is free of all these and exalted above them, that is, stripped of them. He is All-Knowing, All-Wise. He, the professor of all branches of knowledge and the creator of all branches of knowledge. Yes.

And One in His Being. Having no partner. Who created all these worlds with His knowledge and is the absolute ruler and owner of what He created: Allah.

Allah has full power over everything. Allah is free from deficient attributes. Because He knows everything that will come to people's minds, by which in their nafs they will feel justified, and with which against Allah they will defend themselves, against the questions people will ask, Allah creates events; with the events these people did of their own will, making them witnesses against themselves, their questions toward Allah will be cut off. Yes, no one will be able to (?) Allah Almighty. These events are among Allah's attributes of Godhood. Allah, who programmed this whole universe with a program and, making every person witness against his own nafs, gave them their wishes and desires as their destiny, knows what those who will come until the Day of Judgement will do and say, with His eternal knowledge.

All these worlds Allah Almighty has programmed. That verse was one that proves it is programmed. That is, a verse proving that these worlds are programmed. Now, I wanted to read it to you in the original, but I can't find it here right now. These are verses I noted down. I note them down. Such critical points. You know, about the things I explain, I'll say. You say such a thing. Is there really such a thing here? For all the questions asked, I (?) them, the verses that answer them. Yes.

These events are among Allah's attributes of Godhood. Allah, who programmed this whole universe with a program and, making every person witness against his own nafs, gave them their wishes and desires as their destiny, knows what those who will come until the Day of Judgement will do and what they will say, with His prior knowledge He knows. There is no living being to come until the Day of Judgement of whom Allah Almighty does not know what he will do. For this reason, since Allah Almighty created His creation under His rule and took them into His rule, Allah Almighty has power over everything, we wrote.
