Translation

They answered; “Oh Moses! Therein is a tyrant group. Unless they exit, we will never enter that place. If they exit, we will go in immediately”.

Tafsir

When these ten of the watchers told the people what they had seen, the people of Israel did not listen to the words of Moses, who showed them the truth and protected them. However, Allah had a valley for them. They would have been victorious there. But they avoided jihad, fearing the tribe of Amelika, the continuation of the barbaric tribe of Ad, which was in Jerusalem. They said, 'Whenever this tribe comes out of there, then we will enter there.

These people wronged their souls by not listening to Allah and His Messenger, even though they were promised victory by Allah, despite being blessed with so many blessings.

Verse 22 of Surah Al-Ma'idah. They gave this answer: O Moses, there is a tyrannical people there. We will never enter there unless they leave it. If they leave it, we will enter at once, they say. Because these ten people told their own people what they had seen there, and so they resisted Moses in this way. (?) as these ten told the people what they had seen, the Children of Israel did not listen to the word of Moses, who showed them the truth and protected them. They listen to the word of those ten, but to the word of Moses they do not listen. Moses, on the other hand, showed many miracles. In Pharaoh's time, with Pharaoh perishing in the sea, with Mount Tur at Sinai being raised over their heads, with (?), well, with their eating (?) the food of paradise, rather than a person sacrificing his life on this path, a person (?) and goes on rebelling against Allah.

He will never come to the right path again. Because with their desires and wishes they have made their own eyes blind to the truth, their own ears deaf to the truth, and had their hearts sealed against the truth. These people will never again come to the eternal path.

Shunning jihad, out of fear of the Amalekites, a barbarous people in Jerusalem, descendants of the people of 'Ad, they would not go near jihad. They said: whenever this people leaves there, then we will enter there. Although they were showered with so many blessings, although victory had been promised to them by Allah, these people, by not listening to Allah and His Messenger, wronged their own selves. Yes.

May Allah protect us from such an event, from such an event befalling us. We are in a test in this world. Perhaps such things will happen to us too, but one must never (?) from Allah. Yes. In the old days, when our mothers or grandfathers, our grandfathers, our (?), sent their children to the army: my son, never desert from the army. When you go to the front, never flee from the front. Otherwise I will not forgive you my milk, they would say. Yes.

Sometimes one's eyes fill with tears at the beauty of Islam. If only people know Islam. Islam is a very beautiful religion. Allah, for our finest life, has made known to us His finest commands. Yes.
