Translation

From those who were afraid, two individuals who attained Allah’s blessings said “enter against them from the door. Once you enter there, you have achieved victory. If you are mu’min, trust only Allah.”

Tafsir

Two of these twelve people were obedient to Moses and Allah and did not disobey Allah and His Messenger, and these two people, who were favored by Allah (swt), said to their people: "Enter upon them through the gate. Once you have entered there, you have won the victory. They did not listen to these people either, even though they were told to trust in Allah if you are believers.

It is strongly narrated that these two men were from the tribe of Amelika and their names were Calib bin Yufna and Joshua bin Nun. These two men said to the tribe of Israel, 'Enter through the gate in a raid upon them. Once you are inside, you will be victorious with Allah's promise to you. Although this tribe is a tyrant tribe, they are cowardly people. Although they said, "Do not leave them outside the city, if you enter the city, they will not dare to fight you," according to a narration, they even wanted to stone these two brave men to death.

This is the state and condition of this people: It is as if they are competing with each other to disobey Allah.
