They said “Oh Moses! As long as they are there, we will not enter that place, so, you and your Lord can go and fight. We will sit here.”
Tafsir
Look at the words of the human being, who was created weak and insignificant, against Allah (swt). The fact that they disobeyed the command of their Lord and said to His messenger, "We will never enter it as long as they are there, so you and your Lord go and fight, we will stay here," proves the audacity and rebellion of this people against Allah (swt) and their rebellion against Him and the fact that their hearts were sealed against Allah (swt) and they were a disobedient people.
Do not fear Allah, the Creator of the worlds, turn your back on the One who is the owner of the realms of the visible and the subtle, do not listen to His words, let a homeland be assigned to you, do not go against those who would make you prevent the barbarism of the people there and their oppression by your obedience to Allah, turn your back on them, and then seek help from Allah. Allah does not need people. His mercy is abundant for those who listen to His words.
Did Allah not know that they would do this, so He gives them this order? Allah, who has programmed the worlds, knows the events that will take place until the Day of Judgment down to the finest detail and creates events accordingly. People make themselves witnesses to Allah by their actions in these events.
As this is the case here, every moment, every second on earth, Allah creates events against the creatures, and within these events, everyone is held accountable to Allah for what they do.
What is said in the video
O Moses, as long as they are there, we will never enter there. So go, you and your Lord, and fight; we will sit here, they said.
What were they saying? Look, look at this insolence. O Moses, (?). As long as they are there, that is, that Amalekite people, (?) as long as it is there, we will never enter there. That is, we will not go there. So go, you and your Lord, and fight. We will sit here, they said. Allah Almighty: will you sit here? Go on then. Sit. He punishes (?) there. (?) they cannot get out of there. They simply cannot get out. Yes. Look at the word that man, created helpless and insignificant, says against Allah Almighty. A human being created helpless and as an insignificant part. Look at this insolence, look at the word he speaks against Allah Almighty.
Defying the command given by their Lord, what they gave His messenger as an answer: As long as they are there, we will never enter there. So go, you and your Lord, and fight. Their saying 'We will sit here' — this people's insolence toward Allah Almighty, and their rebellion against Him, that their hearts are covered toward Allah, that is, sealed, and that they are a people who will not listen — to prove (?). Their hearts are covered. Yes. That is what it says, after all. Our hearts are covered against you. Yes.
They had their hearts covered by their own desires. It was not Allah who covered them. Do not fear Allah, who created the worlds. Turn your back on the Owner of the outer and inner worlds. Do not listen to His word. Let a homeland be assigned to you. The barbarity of the people there toward you, your (?) in obeying Allah will have it prevented. Do not go against them. You turn your back on them. And then expect help from Allah. Allah has no need of people. It is His guiding, out of His mercy, those who listen to His word. It is His guiding people because of those who listen to His word. And He still gives to the one who does not listen.
They prove what kind of people they are. Yes.
Did Allah not know that they would do this? Very good. What does He say? There is not a single living being that will come until the Day of Judgment of which We do not know what it will not do, He says. Yes. Does Allah not know that they will not do this? He knows. He gives them this command. Yes.
Allah, who programmed the worlds, knows the events that will happen until the Day of Judgment down to the finest detail, and creates events accordingly. He creates events accordingly. Within these events, people, within these events, people prove themselves so well, reveal themselves so well. Yes.
Through the deeds they have done within these events, people make themselves witnesses before Allah. Just as this situation appeared here, on earth, every moment, every second, toward the created beings Allah Almighty creates events, and within these events everyone, by what they do, is held responsible before Allah. This is Allah's being Allah. Allah's being Allah. What is it? For the people and creatures He created in this whole universe events He creates, creating events according to their desires and wishes, so that those people, by the acts and deeds they do, prove what kind of beings they are.
Yes, these are such a physician, such a physician.
Now in Surah Al-Qamar, Allah Almighty addresses people so beautifully. What does He say in Surah Al-Qamar?
Verily, We left it as a lesson, He says. Is there anyone who takes a lesson?
His destroying the people of Lot.
How then were My punishment and My warnings, He says. In verse 16. Verse 17, what does it say? Verily, We have made the Quran easy for taking heed. Is there anyone who takes heed from it? He says. Is there anyone who takes heed from it? In verse 21: how were My punishment and My warnings? In verse 22: verily, so that the Quran is reflected on and heeded, We have made it easy. Is there anyone who takes heed?
Verily, verse 32, We have made the Quran, so that it is understood and heeded, easy. So is there anyone who reflects and takes heed? In verse 40: verily, We have made the Quran easy for taking heed. So is there anyone who reflects and takes a lesson? In verse 50: Our command is, like a glance of an eye, a single (?) and nothing else. In verse 51: verily, We have destroyed your likes, every one; is there anyone who reflects and takes a lesson? And beautifully Allah Almighty addresses us. Sir, surely the God-fearing are in hells — in gardens and rivers. The God-fearing are in the presence of the mighty and exalted Allah, in the assembly of truth, it says.
Yes. It says: surely the God-fearing are in gardens and rivers. In the presence of the mighty and exalted Allah they are in the assembly of truth, it says. What is an assembly? A place where people gather and talk. The assembly of truth: in the presence of Allah the Exalted, in our Lord's assemblies, we will listen, in the world of the hereafter. Just as here the Prime Minister, the President comes out and you listen, there too we will listen to our Lord. Yes. Taking heed, by all means. Taking heed. You will take the advice. You will listen. What does it say here now too In Surah Ar-Rahman, verse 29, too: everyone in the heavens and on the earth asks of Him.
Everyone, that is, (?). Allah Almighty is free of need of them. He is in a state of creating at every moment, it says. Every moment. As I said a moment ago, Allah Almighty gives life to all His creatures at every moment. He is in a state of creating at every moment, it says. According to what does He create? He creates causes according to His creatures and their wishes. Causes. As the Prophet was ascending on the Mi'raj, when it was said: Stop, O Muhammad, my Lord is saying to you — when the Prophet said: my Lord has (?) no need to pray, what is this? — in the Divine Presence Allah Almighty says: O Muhammad, you did not tell Me what you heard.
He says: my Lord, who knows me better than I do, he says. You know better than I, he says. We, He says, have no need of prayer. This state of Ours is toward Our creatures, He says. Our giving at every moment, He says, and Our being on duty. Our being found. On duty every moment. Allah Almighty creates causes every moment according to the desires and wishes of His creatures; those created beings, through these causes and by their own deeds, prove what kind of beings they are. Yes, a great matter does not fit into our minds. We cannot even be masters of ourselves, yet we would be masters of those around us, make events according to their wishes, and try to (?) them.
Understand now how helpless we are. And our Lord's power, His strength and might, His omnipotence, how all-knowing He is, (?) — it does not fit into our heads. We comprehend Allah only as far as our own mind allows; He does not fit into our minds. Indeed, if He fit into our minds, we would do what He does and create what He creates. That is why He does not fit into our minds. Yes.
Yes. There was that verse we were looking for, remember.
We had spoken of the creation of these worlds according to a program.
What does verse 22 of Surah Al-Hadid say? No misfortune occurs on earth or befalls you but — what does it say? No misfortune occurs on earth or befalls you but that before We create it, that is, before creating those misfortunes, before your desires and wishes even want it, it is written in a book. Written in a book. Surely that is easy for Allah, it says. What did we say? Verse 22, verse 22 of Al-Hadid is the proof that these worlds are programmed, we said. Yes.
How beautiful everything is in the light of the verses. We come back again to our lesson. Look at the word that man, created helpless and insignificant, says against Allah Almighty, we say. we say. We have probably read this.
Yes. Just as this situation appeared here, on earth, every moment, every second, toward the created beings Allah Almighty creates events, and within these events everyone, by what they do, is held responsible before Allah.
This is how we tie it to the end of verse 24. All these things we say are the meanings of the verses; in spoken language we tell them to you. Various verses.
Since the verses all confirm one another, we said in one verse: the whole Quran can be traversed. With one verse. Yes.
