Tafsir
Upon the prayer of Hazrat Moses, Allah (swt) forbade this people from the land for forty years and they lived in a narrow place in the land. They could not go out of the land of Tih. Hazrat Musa and Hazrat Harun also passed away in this field. Hazrat Musa died one year after Hazrat Harun. This group could not enter the holy land. They all died in this narrow place.
Forty years after the death of Hazrat Moses, Allah sent Joshua as a Prophet to this people. Joshua 'alaihis-salâm' set out with the descendants of the people of Beni Israel and traveled towards Jericho. They fought battles there and besieged Eriha, and after six months of siege, they defeated Jabababira and captured Eriha.

Allah: then that is the Holy Land; it is forbidden to them for forty years. The Holy Land, that is, Jerusalem, was forbidden to them for forty years. So they cannot enter there; in the Sinai desert they perish there for forty years.
During this time they will wander about the earth bewildered, bewildered. So do not grieve over the people who have strayed from the path, He said.
If you could live the verses, if you could grasp this state and come to know those feelings, it is impossible to describe. Even now our eyes fill with tears. Yes. How beautifully Allah Almighty sheds light on people with His verses, and how beautifully He comforts Moses.
So do not grieve over the people who have strayed from the path, He said. That is, if they are a people who have strayed from the path, they — the Holy Land, Jerusalem, was forbidden to them for forty years, and they perished in that Sinai desert. Upon Moses' prayer, Allah Almighty forbade this people the Holy Land for forty years, and this people lived cramped in a narrow place on earth. In a narrow place. In the Sinai desert.
In the desert of Tih. They could not get out.
Moses and Aaron also died in this desert. Moses died one year after Aaron. First Aaron died. Then Moses died one year after him.
A community — this community could not enter the Holy Land. All of them died and passed away in these (?). Forty years after Moses' death, Allah Almighty sent to this people as a prophet Joshua (peace be upon him). Joshua (peace be upon him), setting out with the descendants of the Children of Israel, headed toward the region of Jericho. Fighting battles there, they besiege Jericho. After a six-month siege, defeating the Cebaviyye, they capture Jericho. Yes.
