And all the armies of Devil (Shaytan) (will have been thrown in there as well).
Tafsir
When Iblis did not prostrate to Adam, Allah (swt) expelled him from His presence and cursed him. Iblis then said, "Since you have cast me out and cursed me, I have some requests from you. Allah (swt) said, 'Tell me, your wishes will be given to you.
Iblis then wished to be invisible to mankind and to wander in their bloodstream, and to give them temptations. Allah (swt) said to Iblis that these desires were given to you.
Iblis, who was the enemy of man, rebelled against Allah by being selfish and proud, instead of listening to Allah's command, repenting and turning back to Allah. As a result, he himself became a Hell-dweller. So Iblis and his army will be thrown into the Fire in Hell.
What is said in the video
These are all verses of torment; yes, may Allah protect us from such a situation, such shame, from such humiliation. Surah Ash-Shu'ara, verse 95: And all the armies of Satan have also been thrown into that fire. All Satan's armies are those who worship him. Look, Allah Almighty does not say all the jinn. Because among the jinn there are the lofty and the base. That is, there are Muslim ones, and non-Muslim ones. And the non-Muslim ones are Satan's armies. They too will all be thrown into hell. And all the armies of Satan have also been thrown into that fire. When Iblis did not prostrate to our forefather Adam, Allah Almighty expelled him from His presence and cursed him. Then Iblis said: since You have expelled and cursed me, I have some requests of You.
And Allah Almighty said: Speak, your wishes will be granted to you. Thereupon Iblis asked to be invisible to the children of Adam and to circulate in their bloodstreams, and also to whisper temptations to them. And Allah Almighty said to Iblis: these wishes of yours have been granted. Yes. Iblis, the enemy of man, instead of heeding Allah's command, repenting and turning to Allah, rebelled against Allah out of ego and pride. These people too have reason. They listen to Allah's verses and understand Allah's true words, but because their carnal feelings weigh heavier, because Satan, to those people in whom carnal feelings weigh heavy, makes the world look adorned and flatters their nafs, those people could not turn to Allah.
In this case Satan is made his guide. With the temptation Satan gives him, he follows him. Just like the cicada, he spends the summer chirping. When winter comes, the cicada — there is a story about it — becomes dependent on the ant. Man too, like that cicada, thinks worldly life is pleasure and amusement, and in this worldly life he enjoys himself as he pleases, and on top of that, he knowingly deceives himself. Although he knows that Allah exists, he says: has anyone gone there and seen it? and, as if he would never be raised again, he wants to live all the world's pleasure and amusement. Well then, don't you ever think — since you say has anyone gone there and come back — how did I come to be?
Who created me? How did so much order come into being together? It is not possible for this to come into being by itself. Why don't you ask how this order of the universe came about? But on the other hand, (?) to your nafs, you ask: has anyone gone there and come back? Yes. And Allah Almighty says it so beautifully in His verse: Do you never use your reason? Do you never reflect? How beautifully He says it.
What does it say? Iblis, the enemy of man, not heeding Allah's command, instead of repenting and turning to Allah, rebelled against Allah out of ego and pride. So he himself became destined for hell. So Iblis and his army will be thrown into the fire in hell altogether. In fact, Satan, the preacher of hell, while speaking with the Prophet — the Prophet says: prostrate once at the grave of our forefather Adam, he says, prostrate, and I will ask Allah Almighty to forgive you, he says. Not that he would be forgiven, but as a demonstration for people of how much Satan would accept the fire rather than prostrate to him; he says this: I swear by Allah, who made you the preacher of the world and me the preacher of hell, he says. I did not prostrate to him alive, he says, so should I prostrate to him dead?
Yes. And people who, while in the world, accepted Satan as their teacher will say in the hereafter: You made us a promise. Now, because of that promise, can you take some of the torment off us? When they say this, he says: I promised you, but I was wrong too. I am here with you too. I never had any authority over you anyway, he says. I only tempted you. And you followed me, he says. How well he puts it. I have no authority over you, he says. I only tempted you. Well, look, if you follow him when he says I only tempted you, Allah Almighty has sent you prophets. He has sent books. He has sent scholars.
So much advice is given. So many sermons are given. So many verses are explained. Why don't you follow that?
You insist on following Satan. Why? Because you liked the world, that's why. Because your nafs liked it, that's why. Yes.
