“Only those great sinners made us go astray.”

Tafsir

The inmates of Hell will commiserate among themselves. They say in anguish that those sinners have led us astray. These sinners are Satan and his companions, as well as cruel people of their own kind. The taguts are the heads of the sinners. They have dominated the weak by saying that there is no God. The weaker people say that these taguts drove us away from our beliefs and brought us to this torment.

What is said in the video

We have come to Surah Ash-Shu'ara, verse 99. Only those sinners led us astray, they say. No one can lead anyone astray. Now, you cannot make an apple into a pear. Because it is an apple. I mean a ripened apple. I am not talking about its tree. If you prune its tree, you can make a pear. Now, a tree that has borne fruit. Apple. A tree that has borne fruit. Pear. A tree that has borne fruit. Pomegranate, for example. Now what does this mean? Our spirits were created in the realm of (?). Our desires and wishes, as fruit, will be (?). What kind of person we are, within our own will, with our own partial will, by the decisions we have made, however we had our desires, wishes and aims written for ourselves as destiny, then, for those destinies of ours, if Allah Almighty has placed characters in us, call that character apple.

In the other, call it pear. Because it has come forth and become an apple. It has come forth and become a pear. It has come forth and become a pomegranate. These, for example, are the natures given to them in Allah Almighty's covenant (?). Now when you bite the apple, it tastes of apple. Can you call this a pear? To you: hey, have you never eaten an apple? Have you never eaten an apple? How can you call this an apple? On the other side too, when you eat an apple you cannot call it an apple. If you say apple, what does he say? The man says to you, hey, have you never eaten an apple? Now in this case, when people say, we were taken in by you, you deceived us, this one was not deceived. With the temptation they gave, the (?) that pleased him, just as trees blossom in spring, those flowers set seed and again yield apples. Those words of theirs, those gilded words, Satan's gilded words, or the gilded words of the two-legged taghut, (?) are turned into a flower. He runs after it, and it yields the fruit of the apple.

A person makes himself and those around him witness to what kind of person he is, and ripens.

So what does it say now? Only those sinners led us astray. No one led you astray; you went astray yourself.

The people of hell pour out their troubles to one another. In anguish they say, those sinners led us astray. These sinners are Satan and his companions, and likewise oppressive people of their own kind. The taghuts, the heads of the sinners, by saying that Allah does not exist, have established domination over the weak. The weak people: these taghuts drove us away from our beliefs and dragged us into this torment, they say. But in fact they are of the same character. What will those at their head say to them, in the coming verses? Just as Satan said, we had no superiority over you. We only told you.

And you followed after us. You too were already of our feelings, they will say. Yes.
