Translation

“Nor are there any close friends.”

Tafsir

If people turn their backs on Allah, associate partners with Him, do not recognize Him and do not believe in the resurrection in the Hereafter, they will be deprived of Allah's mercy in the Hereafter.

Even if the relatives of these people are the people of Paradise and have attained great heights in Paradise, and even if Allah (swt) has given these people the right of intercession, these people will not intercede for these people who are their relatives, even if he is their father. Because these people do not go beyond what Allah says. They will not intercede for those who deny Allah in their destiny. When Allah removes His mercy from those whom He removes His mercy from, these people are also removed. These people, who were cruel to their souls, are left there all alone. They have no friends to help them.

What is said in the video

We have come to Surah Ash-Shu'ara, verse 101. Verse 101. What are they saying?

In Surah Ash-Shu'ara, verse 101: Nor is there a close friend.

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Ve lâ sadîkın hamîm. Sadîk is from the loyal ones anyway. Hamîm: friends. Ve lâ sadîkın hamîm. Nor is there a close friend. Even those they called friends have parted. There is no one.

Our plea to Allah Almighty is this: Allah created all people. Allah created all beings.

Because the people who deny Allah are also Allah's creations, our plea is that our Lord reforms them. That is: he is an unbeliever. Let him stay (?) in this torment. Let him suffer the torment.

For a compassionate person, thinking like this about the beings Allah created is not a good thing. Even if it is your enemy, you will say to him: may Allah reform you. Reform. You will tolerate what Allah created. What does it say? Tolerate the created for the sake of the Creator. Tolerate the created. So we tolerate it because our Lord created it. Our Lord created it. But this tolerance is not for what they do; what Allah created is what we tolerate.

Not that we twist this and, with tolerance, say: what the unbeliever does, tolerate it. He is human too. I mean, he does it. You could do it too. That kind of thing. Allah forbid. It is not like that. Because our Lord created it, we tolerate what He created. But since we do not tolerate their deeds, what they do, we say: our Lord, reform them too. If they were indeed to be reformed, since the religion of Islam is against oppression, there is no anarchy in the religion of Islam. There is no terror in the religion of Islam. The religion of Islam is a religion of mercy. In this case, since Islam, what Allah created, for Allah, because Allah created it, for the sake of our Lord tolerates, when we pray for them too, when we say, O Allah, reform these, if they became Muslims, you know, the world would be no different from paradise.
