Tafsir
By creating the human body, Allah (swt) has made clear in this Ayat what is and what is not good for human health. Since carrion, blood and pork are contrary to human health, Allah has forbidden them. Blood is filth. It is a fluid in the human body that protects the human being against germs and gives life to the human being. The red cells in it give the blood its redness and the white cells are soldiers against germs that enter the body from outside. They try to prevent germs from entering the body. If a person is defeated by germs, that person is sick.
It is in the blood in the veins that the germ circulates on living beings. That is why Allah has forbidden blood, which is a nest of germs.
The carcass is haram; the animal that dies spontaneously or is torn apart by a beast has not been slaughtered and its blood has not flowed. Even if the blood of the animal that has been torn apart by the beast has flowed, the blood has not completely drained from the veins, and the cells in the flesh of the torn apart animal do not die immediately, so these cells, which feed on the blood, use the blood of the animal, and the germs in the blood contaminate the flesh of the animal. Therefore, this meat also becomes contaminated. This is harmful to the human body.
As for pork, it is medically proven that the trichin in pork does not die and passes into the human body despite being cooked in fire. All meat is not the same. Although they are different in terms of flavor and taste, they are created in a state of being useful or not useful for the human body. Pork, on the other hand, is not only bad for the human body, but the trichin in it is harmful to the human body, and people who eat it get all kinds of diseases.
Pork, which affects the human body over time and makes it susceptible to all kinds of diseases, is the source of the disease spread by humans, i.e. germs. In this respect, when we look at the origin of various diseases, we see that these diseases spread from people who did not follow this commandment of Allah and ate pork.
Animals that have been killed with stones or sticks, and those that have been torn to pieces by monsters are not eaten because they have not bled. But if it has been torn apart by a beast, and it is not yet dead, and it is slaughtered and bled by its owner or by someone else, then its meat is permitted to be eaten.
The meat of animals slaughtered on stones, i.e. idols, and of animals slaughtered in the name of other than Allah is inedible. In the first sense, the pagans slaughter the animals, and the animals are not fully bled, which makes them like carrion. Moreover, since there is no provider for mankind except Allah, the Owner of the universe, and since the fact that these animals slaughtered in the name of idols are provided for by someone other than Allah, and that they associate shirk with Allah, and that their superstitious beliefs mean that they are provided for by idols, Allah has forbidden them to be eaten in order to prevent the spread of such incidents and superstitious beliefs.
It is also forbidden for people to seek fortune through fortune-telling arrows. This is because, as I have explained in the previous lines, there is no provider except Allah. Allah is the guarantor of the sustenance of all His creatures. Tawakkul and gratitude is to Allah. Apart from that, seeking sustenance from other than Allah and seeking sustenance through fortune-telling is a form of polytheism against Allah, which is unlawful.
Such events are apostasy. It is leaving Allah and taking others as gods. These are the traps of Satan. Those who resort to such means have deviated from the right path. Some people believe in fortune tellers and have their fortune told. Allah knows the unseen. If the fortune teller knows the future, he should first determine his own future and save himself. These kinds of fortune-telling are tricks of the ego and traps of the devil. It is foretelling the unseen. The keys of the unseen are in the hands of Allah.
The disbelievers have given up hope of destroying the religion of Islam. So fear Allah, not the disbelievers. All human beings will taste death. Do not incline towards the kuffar and be with them, even though you are Muslim, you know Allah, and you know the blessings that your Lord will bestow on people in the Hereafter. He says, "Beware of Me and fear Me.
Today I have perfected your religion and completed My blessing upon you. In other words, I have written all that is necessary for all people, for those who will come until the Day of Judgment, for all creation, in the Holy Qur'an, which is the light that I have sent to you, and since there will be no Prophet after this, I have left you alone with your will. You are responsible for your actions from now on. According to the verse (We do not hold anyone to account for what We do not announce), Allah has shed light on the way ahead with the verses (everything wet and dry is in the Qur'an). He has sent the entire Qur'an, which is in the Holy Qur'an, to guide people. He has named His religion Islam. He says, "I have given you the name of Islam.
And whoever is in distress or in need may eat of that which Allah has forbidden, without consent, in such a way that it may sustain him until he finds salvation. For Allah is most forgiving and most merciful.
What is said in the video
In Surah Al-Ma'idah, verse 3, Allah Almighty explains here what is forbidden to us. Carrion, blood, pork. What is slaughtered in the name of other than Allah, what is strangled, what is beaten to death with stone, wood and the like, animals gored to death, and animals eaten by a beast, except those you reach before they die and slaughter; animals slaughtered on standing stones, idols, and seeking your fortune with divining arrows are forbidden to you. Today one of the women came from Pakistan, she had stones in her hand, they were showing it on television. With those stones she was telling people's fates, their lives, apparently.
And people were competing to buy those stones, saying sell us some too. What kind of thing is this? What kind of mind?
All of them, the whole lot, are deviant. And those who follow her too. Except those who don't know.
There is no one but Allah who gives sustenance.
Yes.
In our book 'Karanlık Yolları Nurlu Yeşil', about fortune tellers, those people, we wrote a piece. Read it. Allah Almighty, having created the human body, with this verse also makes known what is good or not good for its health. Carrion: rotten, a nest of germs. Blood is likewise. Because germs circulate in the blood. In our blood we have red and white cells. The red cells give blood its colour. The white cells are the soldiers. When a germ enters there, they fight at once.
A person's illness comes about when that germ gets in there, gets into the blood, and reduces the white cells. In that case they give that person pills. Or they give an injection. The injection is the dead germs of that disease. Dead germs. When the white cells eat these dead germs, they build immunity against them, and by killing the germs in the blood the person regains health. So if you eat blood too, the germs in that blood will pass into your body, so you too will get sick. Allah Almighty protects you from that as well. In pork there is trichina. Even when it is cooked, so to speak, that germ does not die, it passes into the human body and causes diseases in the human body.
So Allah Almighty has forbidden that too. And also, what is slaughtered in the name of another, in the name of another, other than Allah; there is no god other than Allah, so that it be slaughtered in his name. They used to slaughter in the name of idols, you know. Well, beaten to death with stone, wood and the like. That is, the animal's blood has not flowed. If that animal has a disease, that germ has passed into its meat. Because the meat absorbs that germ, that blood. From that blood, well, the germs pass into the meat and disease appears here.
Yes. Allah Almighty, having created the human body, also makes known what is good or not good for its health with this verse. Since carrion, blood and pork are harmful to people's health, Allah has deemed them forbidden to people. Blood is an impurity. In the human body, it is a fluid that protects a person against germs, protects a person against germs, and gives life to a person. In the human body. A normal person's body contains five litres of blood. Five litres. Yes. Isn't that right, pharmacist? Isn't it? Yes. If it is less, one is anaemic. If it is more, there is an excess of blood. Yes.
The red cells in it give blood its redness; the white cells, against germs that would enter the body from outside, are like soldiers. Right? Isn't it so? We're not saying anything wrong, I hope. They try to keep germs out of the body. If a person is defeated by germs, that person falls ill. As we said a moment ago.
So the place where germs circulate in living beings is the blood in the veins. That is why Allah has forbidden blood, which is a nest of germs. Carrion is also forbidden. An animal that dies by itself or is torn apart by a beast has not been slaughtered and its blood has not flowed. Even if the blood of an animal torn by a beast flows, since the blood does not fully drain from the veins, and since the cells in the torn animal's meat do not die at once, these cells fed by blood use the animal's blood, and the germs in the blood contaminate the animal's meat. In this respect this meat too becomes germ-laden.
This too is harmful to the human body. Plus, since the germs in the beast's mouth contaminate that meat, they do not affect that beast, because that beast has built immunity to them. Well, they harm us.
As for pork, the trichina in pork, which is medically established, despite being cooked in fire does not die and passes into the human body. Not all meats are the same. Although they differ in flavour and taste, they were created as being good or not good for the human body. As for pork, besides the nourishment it gives the human body, since the trichina in it is harmful to the human body, people who eat it fall prey to various diseases. Pork, which over time affects the human body and keeps the body open to every disease, is the source of the disease people spread, that is, of the germs. Why the source?
Today all diseases come from non-Muslims. They originate from them. Because they eat every kind of animal. Every kind of animal. They have no prohibition.
So they go against this verse. I will call you to account for how you used the trust I gave you, He says. This trust is this body. Our Lord, what this body can and cannot withstand, explains to us with His verses and so seeks to protect our body. If you pay no heed to these verses, tomorrow you will give account of it in the (?). For the diseases originating from you and what people suffered, for those troubles too you will give account. Yes. Pork, which over time affects the human body and keeps it open to every disease, is the source of the disease people spread, that is, of the germs. In this respect, when one looks at the roots of various diseases, from those who do not keep this command of Allah and feed on pork, these diseases are seen to spread. Yes.
Animals killed with a stone or with (?), those torn by beasts and dead, are not eaten, because their blood has not flowed. But if one torn by a beast, not yet dead, is slaughtered by its owner or by someone else and its blood is drained, the meat of this animal is eaten. Animals slaughtered on standing stones, that is, idols, animals slaughtered for other than Allah's name, their meat is not eaten either. Because what Allah created, for the other, the idol, which you called god, called deity, you slaughtered it. Is there such a god? Allah forbid. If you slaughter for that made-up god, if what Allah created, for it, you slaughter, you too will have believed in it.
You will have believed in that idol. Allah forbid. So in this respect, animals slaughtered on idols, animals slaughtered for other than Allah's name, their meat is not eaten either. The reasons for not eating it: first, the idolaters' slaughtering of the animals, the blood of the slaughtered animals not being fully drained, turns these animals into carrion. Moreover, since apart from Allah, the owner of the universe, there is no giver of sustenance to people, these animals slaughtered in the name of idols mean sustenance given by other than Allah and associating partners with Allah; since with their false beliefs it means offered by idols, Allah, so that such things, false beliefs, do not spread, has also forbidden eating them.
Yes.
Seeking one's fortune with divining arrows is also forbidden to people.
The reason for this, as I explained in the previous lines, is that other than Allah there is no one who gives sustenance. And Allah guarantees the sustenance of all His creatures. Trust and gratitude belong to Allah. Apart from this, making vows to others than Allah and seeking sustenance with divining arrows amounts to associating partners with Allah, and these are forbidden. Such things are going astray. It is leaving Allah and taking others as gods. These are the traps of Satan. Those who resort to such ways have strayed from the right path. Some people believe in fortune tellers and have their fortunes read.
Allah knows the unseen. If the fortune teller knows the future, let him first determine his own future and save himself. These fortune-telling things are, for people, games of the nafs and traps of Satan. It is giving news of the unseen. And the keys of the unseen are in Allah's house. Yes.
The unbelievers have now given up hope of doing away with the religion of Islam; now fear not the unbelievers but Allah; all people will taste death; with the attribute of being Muslim, by knowing Allah, though you know the blessings your Lord will grant people in the Hereafter, do not incline to the unbelievers and be with them. Beware of Allah Almighty and fear Him, He commands. Today I have perfected your religion for you and completed My blessing upon you. That is, for all people, for those to come until the Day of Judgement, for all created beings, whatever is needed, in the Quran, the light I sent you, I have written it all out, He says.
Allah Almighty. Yes.
My Lord has written it all out.
With Sharia rulings He has made it all known to us.
Now, since no prophet will come after this, I have left you alone with your will; you are responsible for your conduct from now on, He says. That is, We have placed the Quran before you as a leader, He says. The Prophet says this in the Farewell Sermon: I leave you such a trust that as long as you hold fast to it you will find life. O Messenger of Allah, what is it, they say. It is the Quran, he says. The Quran. Yes.
According to the verse: when We have not made it heard, of you We call no one to account; and by the verses: whatever is wet and dry is in the Quran, Allah has shed light before us. And He sent the whole of the Quran, (?), for human guidance. Since He named His religion Islam, He commands: I gave you the name Islam. Whoever is in distress or helpless, without consenting at heart, may eat of what Allah has forbidden, just enough to get by until he is safe. For Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. Yes.
