That path is the path to the hell. They will remain there eternally. This is an easy matter for Allah.
Tafsir
Allah (swt) repeatedly warns such people who are rebellious against Allah (swt) about their bad behavior, their denial of Allah (swt) and His Messenger (swt), and their self-righteousness, and insists that they come to the right path. He does not insist on this not because he needs people, not because he needs them, but out of compassion to warn them of the suffering that such people will suffer.
Such people will abide in Hell forever. You won't find a helper for them.
Therefore, one's intellect already tells him to be with Allah by using his intellect and not his nafs. As long as a person does not break the bad habits in his nafs and does not give up these bad habits, he cannot fulfill the commands of Allah. In this case, people who continue their rebellious behavior and take pride in their rebellious behavior, who try to satisfy their enmity against Allah in their nafs by disobeying Allah's commands, if they die in this way, they will be eternally in Hell. It is very easy for Allah (swt) to throw them into Hell. For if man and jinn were to gather, they could not overpower Allah. Allah has not created any being outside His dominion that His Essence cannot dominate.

struggles to control them and cannot keep hold of them. But because Allah Almighty is free of deficient attributes, He brought forth no being outside His control, outside His power. Yes. He brought forth no such being. He did not create one. So, of course, for Allah Almighty, when He gathers us at the place of assembly, (?) sending people on the path of Hell into Hell will not be hard for Him. Yes.
By the noble angels charged with the task they will be seized by their forelocks and thrown in through a narrow gate of Hell. May Allah Almighty protect us from such an end. Yes.
To people who rebel against Allah, Allah Almighty, despite this bad conduct of theirs, those who deny Allah and His Messenger, who have made wrongdoing against their own selves their hallmark, warning them again, one by one, that they should come to the right path, insistently makes it known. Who have made wrongdoing against their own selves their hallmark. That is, they have found it fitting for themselves. Who take pride in it, who think very highly of themselves, (?), and that in this state they will face Allah's wrath, Allah Almighty constantly tells them. Constantly. And, turning them away from such paths, He says to His servants out of mercy: O people, use your reason.
Surely every soul shall taste death. And according to His verse saying 'your return is to Me', on that day of assembly you will all be gathered in My presence and finally be called to account for what you did, your actual deeds. To protect you from that day's torment: that your lifetime is a treasure for you, and that within this treasure you earn Allah's mercy, this We want, says Allah Almighty. As proof of this He sends prophets, sends books, sends scholars and wants people to turn to Him. But because He leaves every soul free in its own will, through the actual deeds people have done, every person sends himself to the place he deserves.
Yes.
This insistence towards people is not out of need, because He needs them — not that. It is only out of mercy, in view of the suffering such people will endure, to warn them. He warns those people out of mercy. Well, if you ask: if He has so much mercy, then why will He throw these people into Hell and burn them? Allah Almighty will create a being such that this being will know its Lord of its own wish and will. Its Lord. And Allah Almighty, from His own being, from His spirit which He set apart (?), this spirit He gave to people, He wants to make it obey Him, and that will, too, He gives to the spirit, together with the reason in the spirit called (?).
Because He wants that spirit to know the One who created it, who brought it into being from nothing, He does not interfere with its will. This is the summit of the art of creation. Allah Almighty: when the spirit He created like this, that (?) He separated from Himself, returns to Him and knows Him as Lord and surrenders to Him, Allah Almighty promises it, though it has not earned it, though it has no right or claim at all, the gardens of Paradise. What is it supposed to do? It is to know that Allah exists. That's all. Well, it is to surrender to Him. And by carrying out Allah's commands it is to prove this.
That is: 'I have turned to my Lord.' Is this hard for a person?
For a helpless person with power over nothing, is it hard to obey the might of the Lord who created the worlds — is obeying hard for a person? If it is hard, then this is your place too, He says, forever.
That is why He creates eternal Hell. Those who rebel against Allah, who defy Him, who see themselves as something, who are arrogant, besides the One who created him, a being equal to Allah he looks for. He imagines it. He does not recognise Allah as Allah, as his Creator, and waits for the Lord of his imagination. So, because he does not carry out Allah Almighty's command, when Allah Almighty, by His attribute of justice, gives him his punishment, his (?) against Allah grows. The Lord of his imagination will come. He will take revenge on Allah. Just look at that. He will take revenge. And while writhing in this revenge, because his character is like that, he cannot get out of that world of his, and in that world he of course becomes one destined for Hell.
Even so, Allah in the end lets His mercy reach them. When He takes away their nerve senses, they come to neither feel nor taste. Hodja, you keep saying 'they, they'. If you ask, 'Have you set yourself apart?', I (?) to Allah. If Allah wills, my end too will be as one obedient to Allah, and we will not be counted among their group, if Allah wills. It's hope, of course. Everyone must hope. If one person, it says, were bound for Hell and everyone else for Paradise, one will say, 'Could I be the one bound for Hell, bound for Hell?' If everyone were bound for Hell and one person for Paradise, one would also say, 'Could I be the one bound for Paradise?' That is hope.
So, if we recognise our Lord as Lord, obey Him, as is due, and walk on that sirat al-mustaqim, the straight path, then according to the verse 'Who is truer to his word than Allah?', we will surely be counted among those who attain salvation. If Allah wills. Yes.
Because Allah Almighty is merciful, meanwhile to those who are mixed, that is, to those in the religion of Islam and those outside it, in this visible world, during their lifetimes, He delivers the truth. What does Allah Almighty say? I call no one to account for what I have not made known, He says.
Yes. Such people will remain in Hell forever. What does Allah Almighty say? That path is the path of Hell. There they remain forever. And this is very easy for Allah. Again He calls out to people with mercy. Do not do this. Your Lord is one, a single god. There is no god but Allah. And your return is to Me. The Owner of these worlds, who possesses these worlds and keeps them under His own power: there is no god but Allah — so Allah Almighty continually makes Himself known to people. And He will make it known until the Last Day. And since He will not call anyone to account for what He has not made known, to people He will show the truth. Through whom?
Through scholars. Since no prophet will come, through scholars. People will go so far astray that the words of the scholars will not be enough for them. That far astray they will go.
That is when the Mahdi and Jesus will come. Miracle. Miracles. The wondrous things of our Lord, His miracles, will appear. You know how it says Jesus is alive. He will send him down. The Mahdi will come, it says. Yes. The Mahdi and Jesus will again, through these miracles, make Allah's (?) known to people. They say the wolf and the lamb will graze side by side. That is, friend and foe will get along like brothers. Meanwhile, they too, after ruling for 40 years, will pass away. They will taste death. The world, it says, will live 40 more years. It will move rapidly toward its end. That is, people will rapidly go astray again.
So Allah Almighty, in every era, at every time, makes Himself known to people with His mercy, and although He knows them in the hereafter — of course, we know them all — who is for Paradise, who for Hell. So that they cannot say, 'O Lord, You did not tell us, You did not make it known to us', thus His being free of deficient attributes, Allah's attribute of being Allah, Allah Almighty completes. You know, no one will be able to question Allah. The reason: all the questions they would ask will have become manifest, and a person's head will drop. He will not be able to ask (?).
So people who constantly rebel against Allah will end up on the path to eternal Hell and stay there. You will find no helper for them. Because, in the hereafter, for a person from whom Allah has cut off His mercy, cut off His mercy, no person, no prophet, none of the people who have attained the rank of intercession will intercede for them. They will not. Because a person from whom Allah has lifted His mercy — there they are utterly alone and forsaken, He says. And in this state they will, by those charged with the task, through a narrow gate of Hell be thrown inside.
So, that a person, using his reason, should be not with his nafs but with Allah — although his reason already tells him so — the person who does not break the bad habits in his nafs, give way on them and come to Allah's commands, and those who behave rebelliously, carrying on their conduct, it says, (?) in these states and trying to soothe the enmity against Allah in their own nafs by defying Allah's commands: between these, if they die like this, there is no difference at all.
If a person defies Allah's commands, deifies his own nafs, and in that state passes on to the hereafter, such people have taken the path to eternal Hell.
They are destined for eternal Hell. And this is very easy for Allah. Because even if mankind and jinn came together, they could not overpower Allah. Allah has not created any being He cannot rule, outside His own rule. He has not created even a single atom outside His rule. Had He created one, Allah would have wronged that atom. Because even if it is a single atom, it cannot do without Allah. It has needs. Its Lord will meet those needs. He has such living creatures, creatures in among rocks and stones, inside them, there are living things, and He provides their sustenance too, He gives it. Allah's being free of deficiency, of deficient attributes.
You know, it occurs to a person today: O Lord, a living thing trapped inside a rock — do You give it its sustenance there too, I mean that creature's sustenance? Yes. Sometimes we hear that when such stones are broken, out comes a frog, and in its mouth a green leaf. Allah's grace. These are our Lord's miracles. That He has power over all things, that His might extends to everything, covers everything, they show us.
