Tafsir
O People of the Book, do not take the path of disbelief by attributing guilt to Allah because of your excesses in your religion. Do not say anything about Allah other than the truth. That is, do not conceal the Verses of Allah and make your own invented words appear as the Verses of Allah. Do not ascribe wives and children to Allah. Allah is One and there is no deity or creator except Him. He needs neither wife nor son.
It is written in the Books in your hands that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) will come. Although you knew this, you went to extremes in your religion and denied Allah and His Messenger out of your pride and arrogance with the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who ended the Prophethood.
You said that Jesus is the son of Allah and Mary is his wife. However, the soul of Jesus was placed in his mother's womb without a father by the command of Allah to be, that is, by Allah's will, in a way that is not difficult for Allah. He is a soul, just like the soul, which is a part of Allah, present in all human beings. He is no different from human beings. The difference is that he was created by God as a fetus in the womb without a father like other human beings, and his soul was implanted in this fetus.
So believe in Allah and His Messenger. Allah (swt) is exalted from all imperfect attributes. He shows that He has the power of creation and that He created Jesus without a father to show His miracles to the people. In this case, instead of submitting to Allah's greatness, His knowledge and His power, you attribute crimes to Him, which is a proof against yourself and an injustice against your own soul.
So do not say that Allah is three. Do not take Mary and Jesus as deities. They are servants of Allah, created like human beings. Allah is one and the only God. He needs neither children nor wives. If you believe this, you will enter the path of Islam and find the truth. Allah does not need anything. The heavens and the earth and all that is between them belongs to Allah. Allah is not in need of anything. The creatures are in need of Allah.
If Allah owns the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, if He is the absolute ruler and owner of all creation, then Allah's command cannot be disobeyed or disobeyed. Allah, who put the will in the hands of human beings, has willed that they should know Him within their own wills, without any pressure or compulsion whatsoever. In this way, He left people free within their will. So have your will and use your intellect. Do not fall into the tricks of the nafs and the devil. The path they show is the path of evil and torment. If you seek a friend, Allah is sufficient as a friend. There is no being other than Him who can be a friend and deputy for man. If man turns to Allah, Allah becomes both his friend and his proxy.
What is said in the video
We have come to 171. To 171.
Allah Almighty: O People of the Book, do not go to extremes in your religion. And do not say about Allah anything other than the truth. Do not say about Allah anything other than the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, is only the Messenger of Allah. He is the work of the word 'kun', 'be', which Allah conveyed to Mary.
He is a spirit from Him.
From whom? He is a spirit from Allah.
We are all a spirit from our Lord.
Because first He gave the Prophet of His spirit. In his spirit He created the spirits of the prophets. And in the spirits of the prophets He created the spirits of their peoples. We are all a spirit from our Lord. So the spirit is not Gabriel.
What does it say?
Now,
this part
we want to read to people in Arabic.
Now, (?). He is a spirit He conveyed to Mary, it says. Well, if Jesus is a spirit his Lord conveyed to Mary, how can the spirit be Gabriel?
Whereas Allah Almighty (?) Gabriel, peace be upon him, as 'Gabriel' in His verse.
That is why people have mixed up the verses just like the words we speak in Turkish. For example, I say 'gelin' — I say: gelin, gelin. Well, this — (?) — you can understand 'gelin' (bride) too. I am addressing the person in front of me: 'gelin' — you can understand 'gelin' that way too, that is, walk over to me, come. And you understand. But Allah's word is not like our Turkish words. If it were, they would (?) Allah. Look, here You said this, here You said that. I did this, I understood it this way, they would say. Because Allah's word rests on its letters, you cannot say (?). It means that
he is the work of the 'kun', that is, the word, which Allah conveyed to Mary. It was said that Allah Almighty is free of deficient attributes, (?) you know, all kinds of things come to a person's mind and he asks; within this question of his, we said, people will not be able to question Allah Almighty with Allah's attributes. He created Adam from clay. He gave him His spirit. Then from him He created Eve. And He set up the human factory. Fine. Well, this human factory always works through a mother and a father. Can a human being come about without a mother and father? Yes, he can. That is Allah's power.
This power. It shows His might, that He is capable of everything. Everything.
His — that is, 'if I will it, I create like this', He says. That is the command 'be'. This command 'be', too, people understand in a different way. What is the command 'be'? You know, they say He said 'be' with sound and letters, and it was. Imam al-Ghazali puts it very well.
That fool says, he says, He said 'be' and it was. Whereas with sound and letters, he says, nothing comes to be. So this saying 'be' is our Lord's will. He creates. If He had said 'be' and it had been, He would not have created the heavens in two days, the earth in two days, and what is between them in two days. Look, there are days here. So that here is His will. He creates what He wills. That is His command 'be'. If the command 'be' were that, then as soon as He gave it to Mary, that spirit should have come out at once. It was and came into being. But it still develops in her womb. 9 months and 10 days.
Yes. So the word 'be' is our Lord's will. It is not saying 'be' with sound and letters.
Those at the stage of nafs-i safiye who are aware of the secret of secrets know this very well. And there is only one of those in the world anyway. One comes every two hundred years.
So he is a spirit from Him. Believe in Allah and His prophets, and do not say God is three. Give this up; it is better for you. If they gave it up, they would come back to Islam anyway. Allah is only one God.
He is far above having a child. Whatever is in the heavens and on the earth all belongs to Him. Allah suffices as guardian, it says. That's right. Allah suffices as guardian, of course. He has no partner in His being. He has no witness when creating. Because He creates it Himself. So Allah Almighty says: I also suffice as guardian. He speaks the truth.
O People of the Book, by going to extremes in your religion, do not say Allah is three, ascribing guilt to Allah, and do not choose the path of kufr. The path of kufr. Do not say about Allah anything other than the truth. What is the truth about Allah? La ilahe illallah. There is no god but Allah. Allah is one; besides Him there is no other god, no god and creator at all. He has no need of a wife or child. In our religion, although you knew that, before Muhammad (peace be upon him) graced the world, his coming was written, going to extremes in our religion, when the one who ends prophethood, the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad (peace be upon him), graced the world, out of your pride and arrogance you denied Allah and His Messenger.
Because that suited you. Through your rabbis and priests you changed the verses in exchange for worldly gain. You took the parts that pleased your nafs. So, saying Allah is three, you sought help from here and there. You abandoned the One who created you.
What fine warnings Allah Almighty gives. Look, ever since the opening verses, just as He calls no one to account for what He has not made known, Allah Almighty, out of mercy, in this worldly realm, reminds people of His existence.
You called Jesus the son of Allah and Mary His wife. Whereas the spirit of Jesus was, by that command of Allah, that is, by Allah's will, placed in the mother's womb without a father, in a way that was not hard for Allah. Like the spirit, Allah's miracle, which is found in all human beings, he too is a spirit. In all human beings, we say.
Like the spirit, Allah's miracle, which is found in all human beings, he too is a spirit. He is part of humankind. What sets him apart is that, like the other prophets, he is Allah's messenger and was made a prophet by Allah. By Allah. That is Allah's command. His willing it, rather. His willing it. The prophets know, you see; the prophets, whom He first created from the spirit of the Prophet, and His agreement and covenant with them — what do the verses say? I will send you as prophets to your peoples. Do you accept? And they say, we do. As Allah for you, as witness, I am enough, He says. Because there is no one else.
They are prophets. Allah's witness is enough for them.
That is why they say, 'Let me sow Islam.' The prophets.
So believe in Allah and His Prophet. Allah Almighty, being free of deficient attributes, to show people that He has every power to create and to show them His miracles, created Jesus without a father. So, instead of bowing before Allah's exaltedness, His greatness, His knowledge and His might, your ascribing guilt to Him is evidence against yourselves, and you wrong your own selves. Whoever says Allah is three. Yes.
Do not say Allah is three. Do not take Mary and Jesus as gods. They too, like people, are created servants of Allah. Yes. And the greatest of the prophets is Muhammad (peace be upon him). What do we say? Eşhedü en la ilahe illallah. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah. And ve eşhedü enne Muhammeden abdühü ve resulühü — what do we say? And again I bear witness that Muhammad is Allah's servant and messenger. His servant and messenger. So all created beings are Allah's servants.
Allah did not create partners to Himself. The prophets are Allah's servants. If you make them gods, you both ascribe guilt to them, to those prophets, and associate partners with Allah, and, worst of all, you wrong your own selves. Then you have taken the path of Hell. Allah forbid.
Allah is single, and (?). He has no need of a child, His child, nor of a wife. If you do this and believe in this way, you will have entered the path of the religion of Islam; you will find the truth. Allah stands in need of nothing. The earth and the heavens and what is between them belong to Allah. Allah is in need of nothing. The created, however, are in need of Allah.
If the earth and the heavens and what is between them are Allah's, if He is the absolute ruler and owner of all created things, then Allah's command is not to be defied, and He is not to be disobeyed. Allah, who placed partial free will in the hands of man, by man's own will and reason, without any pressure or coercion upon him, wills that He be known. He created people this way. That is, in the realm of lahut, without any pressure on them, without any coercion, without any (?), Allah Almighty, in that realm of lahut, when He created the spirits, says: I am your Lord. I am. He shows Himself there too.
The Prophet, beside Him as a supporter, says yes. This is our Lord. Despite this, as I said, because He gave people (?) from the outward, because they likened our Lord to themselves, out of their pride, arrogance and grandeur they did not believe in Allah. They waited for the Lord of their imagination.
Yes. So Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty, having created people in the finest form and made Himself known to them, those people, by waiting for the Lord of their imagination, out of the pride, arrogance and grandeur in their hearts, denied Allah. Because they denied their Lord out of pride and arrogance, their hearts, it says, are restless and scattered. They are lying disbelievers, says Allah Almighty. Liars. Those who turn their backs on Allah although they know they were created.
If you do this and believe in this way, you will have entered the path of the religion of Islam. You will find the truth. Allah has need of nothing.
Allah, who placed partial free will in the hands of man, by man's own will and reason, without any pressure or coercion upon him, willed that He be known, and created people in this way. So be master of your will and use your reason, We have said. Be master of your will and use your reason.
Do not fall for the game of the nafs and Satan; the path they show is the path of evil and torment. If you seek a friend, Allah is enough for a person. Apart from Him there is no being that can be a person's friend and guardian. What do we say? What an excellent Master He is. What an excellent support. What an excellent friend, we say. If a person turns to Allah, Allah becomes both his friend and his guardian. His guardian. Yes.
