Translation

We have informed you about some of the Prophets from the past, and We have not given you news about some others. And Allah in fact, has spoken with Moses.

Tafsir

The fact that Allah (swt) says that the Prophet is alive is evident by the fact that Allah (swt) tells and shows the Prophets to the Prophet in proportion to Allah (swt)'s will before he comes to the realm of property. The meaning of "before" is that He showed the Prophets He sent before the Prophets listed in the above verse to the Prophet and what these Prophets did and what they did. We did not tell you about some of them, and now, by telling you about some of them, it is for the proof of the verse that I have made you a witness over all the Prophets. O Habibim! You are both a Prophet sent by me and a witness to all Prophets. Therefore, you are a Prophet whom I have gathered all the Prophets and Books I have sent in the Holy Qur'an and sent with you.

I have sent you as a mercy to the worlds in this respect. (And ma erselnake illa rahmeten lil aleminsin.) You will be a witness to the Prophets I will now tell you about.

(We have indeed spoken to Moses), in the Holy Qur'an Allah (swt) says that one night when Hazrat Moses was passing through the holy city of Tuva with his family and was looking around for something to burn because the night was dark and stormy, Allah (swt) appeared to Moses in the form of fire. Moses said to his family, "You stay here and I will get a fire from over there," and he approached the fire. At that moment Allah says, "O Moses! I am your Lord and He speaks to him. We will relate these conversations in the following Verses.

That is why Allah reveals His Verses to people, so that He may purify them from the evil path and guide them to His Essence. By informing mankind of His existence, He is placing His responsibility on mankind. O man! Think a little bit and try to take your share of Allah's existence and majesty and obey Him so that your two worlds will be fulfilled.

What is said in the video

Some prophets We have told you about before, He says, and some We have not told you about. And Allah truly spoke with Moses, He says. He proves it so much to people now — Allah never knows a lie, never tells one — (?) His saying 'truly': now believe, He says, My servants, believe. Who is truer to his word than Allah, He says. Yes. Allah Almighty, (?) before the Prophet came (?), Allah Almighty, as far as He willed, telling the Prophet about the prophets and showing them. For example, He says: remember, He says, in the verses. (?) events. So He showed him before he came into the world. His saying 'remember'.

By saying 'Some prophets We told you about before', it is clear: 'before' means His showing the prophets He sent before the prophets He listed in the verse above, and these prophets' duty of conveying the message and what they did, to the Prophet.

And some We have not told you about. Now, listing and telling you about some of them is to prove the verse 'I have made you a witness over all the prophets'. Yes. What does it say anyway? Look: some prophets We told you about before. And some We have not told you about. And Allah truly spoke with Moses.

So He tells about them too, one by one, in the Holy Quran. And in addition, because he is alive in both worlds, and because He showed those worlds to the Prophet (peace be upon him) too: you, He says, I will make witness over all the prophets, and your community witness over the other communities, He says. Here, when He says 'I will make your community witness over the other communities', I grieve so much, so very much I grieve, I grieve for the Muslims, truly my heart (?). I mean, we love people, we love Muslims, but they — unaware of themselves, arranging their lives in a way that outdoes the non-Muslim, living outside Allah's sharia ruling, almost (?), spending their lives that way — this saddens me greatly in view of this verse.

Will they bear witness against them in this state? Look at Allah Almighty's mercy: these people who recite the kalima of testimony and say 'I am a Muslim', outdoing the unbeliever and perhaps even in a worse state than them, their lives although they lead them like this, against them, by a single La İlahe İllallah Muhammeden Resulullah they said, He will still make them witnesses over them. Look, He will say. However sinful this one may be, perhaps he committed a sin even greater than yours, but he did not compromise on Allah, His Messenger, or the Quran. Yes, he is a sinner. I will judge with your justice.

I will put him in Hell as much as his punishment warrants. I will give him his punishment. But that saying of his, La İlahe İllallah Muhammeden Resulullah — He says, his faith will reach perfection there and he will come out.

With this faith he too will have become a witness against them. Now can you imagine? Our Lord being so full of mercy, granting people, His servants, so much pardon and forgiveness? Well, as humans, toward that Lord whose mercy and pardon we take refuge in so much, to make those who do not obey Him say to Allah Almighty, 'this servant of Yours was just like me' — is that fitting for us? Is it fitting for a Muslim? Are we not ashamed? So we will feel shame before Allah. We will live Islam. So that they — 'look, Your servants were like this too, how were they any different from me?' — so that they don't say that.

Don't let them say it. And with that honor of yours, with that dignity you find with Allah, with that light of Islam, to Allah be a servant, so that you may bear witness against them. Yes.

And some We have not told you about. Now, listing and telling you some of them — 'I have made you a witness over all the prophets' — is to prove that verse. O My Beloved! You are both a prophet who was sent and also a prophet who is witness over all the prophets.

There is more beyond that.

That is, O Prophet, both a prophet who was sent, and a prophet who is witness over them, and also those prophets, each one, are from your soul, separated from you — a prophet. 'Who brought you forth from a single nafs', He says. From a single nafs. A very deep meaning. A very deep meaning.

That is, the spirit, the nafs and the life are one. The bodies are separate. 'Who brought you forth from a single nafs.' First, His giving that spirit to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). A single nafs. Then His bringing forth the prophets. Then His creating their peoples' souls from those prophets' souls, and indirectly, all people being created from the Prophet, and indirectly, with the Prophet being one from our Lord's spirit, it goes all the way to His Self. 'Who created from a single nafs', He says. Yes. The One is Allah. The meanings are deep. It is not only from Adam like that. But outwardly, of course, from Adam — and he too is not a single nafs.

Eve too — our mother Eve is his wife too. That makes one and a half nafs.

If people did not have this knowledge, they could not find these things. Knowledge — knowledge is knowing, he says, knowledge is knowing yourself. If you don't know yourself, how is this knowing, what kind of knowledge is this, he says.

O My Beloved, you are both a prophet who was sent and a prophet who is witness over all the prophets. Plus, all the prophets are from your soul; they are even your part. Your part. That is why in a verse it says the prophets come from one another and are one single community. Yes, for this reason, all the books of the prophets I sent I gathered in the Holy Quran and sent with you, He says. With you — you are a prophet I sent; in this respect I sent you as a mercy to the worlds. You are 've mâ erselnâke illâ rahmeten li'l-âlemîn'. The prophets I will now tell you about, you will be witness over them too. (?) truly — We truly spoke with Moses too: this saying, in the Holy Quran, in Allah Almighty's verse: one night, as Moses was passing with his family through the holy (?), since the night was dark and stormy, while he was looking around for something to burn, Allah appears to Moses in the form of fire.

When Moses tells his family, 'You stay here, let me fetch some fire from over there', he approaches the fire. At that moment Allah says, 'O Moses, I am your Lord', and speaks with him. We say we will relate these conversations later in the verses. Yes. Allah's making His verses clear to people is to purify them from the evil path and turn them toward His Self. By making His existence known to people, it is to place responsibility on people. O man! You too, think at least a little, and of Allah's existence and majesty try to take your share. Obey Him so that you may be (?) in both worlds. Yes. Only Allah.

(?) because.

Surely every soul will taste death. And your return is to Me, He says. With what face will we appear before our Lord? With the injustices we did on earth, with the lies we told to this one and that, with the people we cheated, or with our hypocrisy, or with gossiping like that and carrying people's words back and forth — with what face will we appear? Every soul will taste death. And finally your return is to Me, He says. There is not a single word that the angels Münkir and Nekir on your right do not write down. 'Alas for us', they say. (?), they say. Absolutely everything has been written. What the prophets said was true after all.

Before you say that 'alas', before that day comes, your Lord's mercy is raining down on your head. The treasure of life. Because My mercy is for everyone in the universe, He says. So don't open an umbrella over your head and keep away from that mercy. Take a bucket in your hand. Try to fill it with mercy. That bucket is your heart. Put Allah's light in your heart so that all that is other than Allah (masiva) goes out of it. Yes.
