Their brother Noah had said to them, “won’t you abstain (from rebelling against Allah)?

Tafsir

Hadrat Noah (peace be upon him) said to his people: O my people! Allah is the Creator of these worlds and the Creator of what you have made with your hands and what you worship as gods. Allah is the Creator of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them.

After you die, you will be resurrected in the Hereafter. Do you not fear the Day of Reckoning when you will give account before Allah? Because Allah has said that your Lord is also my Lord.

What is said in the video

they began to measure by a matter. We have come to verse 106 of Surah Ash-Shu'ara. Yes.

Their brother Noah had said to them:

Will you not beware of going against Allah? He says "their brother" because they were of the same people. Those from the same womb are also siblings.

Womb-mates. Noah (peace be upon him) says to his people: O my people, I am of your people, and you are of me, he says. O my people, will you not beware of going against Allah Almighty? That is, do you never consider that there is a Being who created these worlds, and that you were created, that we were created, well, that the Creator is a Being — do you not know that at all? Since nothing happens just out of nowhere, will you not obey that Creator? he says. Will you go against Him? he says. That is how he puts it. O my people, will you not beware of going against Allah Almighty? Allah is the One who created these worlds, and the things you made with your hands that you worship as god, He created them too.

Allah is the Creator of the heavens and the earth and what is between the two. How beautifully he puts it.

After (?), you will be raised again in the Hereafter. Will you not fear the day when you will give account before Allah on that Day of Reckoning? Because he said: Allah is your Lord, and He is my Lord too.
