Now abstain from rebelling against Allah and obey me.
Tafsir
Hazrat Noah continues to warn his people; O my people! Do not lead yourselves to destruction by associating partners with Allah (swt) and calling His creatures gods and worshipping them. O my people! Beware of disobeying Allah, Who created us, and obey me. If you continue to disbelieve as you are, beware of a calamity that will befall you one day in this world. In the Hereafter, he said, beware of the accounts you will give on the Day of Reckoning.
What is said in the video
Surah Ash-Shu'ara, verse 108: So beware of opposing Allah and obey me, it says. Obey me. Noah (peace be upon him) continues to warn his people. O my people! By associating partners with Allah Almighty, by calling His creations gods and worshipping them, do not drag yourselves to destruction. O my people, beware of opposing Allah, who created us, and obey me, he said. If you continue in denial in this state, beware of a calamity that one day in this world will befall you. And in the hereafter, beware of the account you will give on that Day of Reckoning, he said. Now the verses open up so much that, in meaning, they all support one another anyway.
Now some people say – I run into this all the time when we talk: Whenever we talk, you bring up a verse. I said: you name me a verse, and I'll take you around the Quran, I said. Let me take you around our Quran.
