I will not expel those who are mu’min.

Tafsir

Prophets are people sent to invite people to Allah. They are messengers sent by Allah to mankind. People may have made mistakes, may have lived on dark paths, may have sunk in marshes. Why does Allah send His messengers to people? Allah sends His messengers to people so that they can find life and turn towards the truth and become good people who know Allah. In this case, even if people have been bad or lowly, when they finally know their Creator, their Lord, and turn back to Him, they will be among the people who have entered salvation. Allah (swt) also changes the sins of people's past into rewards. This is because human beings are mentally deficient and may commit sins knowingly or unknowingly. In this respect, a person should realize the evils he has done and repent to never commit those evils again.

The people who followed Hazrat Noah (peace be upon him) may have been lowly in the past, but with their repentance and recourse to Allah, they became people of faith. In the eyes of Allah (swt), Who created us, they have become good people, far more virtuous than those who disbelieve in Allah. Allah, the Exalted, says: "Do not mock at any people, lest that people be a better people than you". But the elders of Noah's people called these people of faith who followed Noah lowly because of their faith, in comparison to their nobility and virtue. Hazrat Noah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), who knew this very well, said, "I will not expel those who believe. The meaning of this is that I have done my duty as a messenger of Allah, when the people whom I invited to Allah believe in Allah, I have done my duty.

Our aim is to inform people about Allah who created us. Therefore, it is not befitting for us to introduce Allah to these people and at the same time to drive them away, to expel them from Allah's sight.

What is said in the video

We have come to Surah Ash-Shu'ara, verse 114. Well: I am not going to drive away those who are believers, he says. Yes. He says it beautifully. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Ve mâ ene bi târidi'l-mü'minîn. Bi târidi'l-mü'minîn ve mâ ene bi târidi'l-mü'minîn: those who follow us, that is, the believers who come to me, that is, those who are the ones who came to me – I am not going to drive them away, he says. Those believers. Prophets are those sent to invite people to Allah.

And scholars are their heirs.

These are the envoys Allah sends to people. In that case, people may have committed errors, lived on dark paths, sunk into swamps. Allah sends so many envoys to people. So many of His envoys. So that these people find life, turn to what is right, know Allah and become good people, Allah sends His prophets to people. In that case, even if people have been bad, even if they are low-ranking, when in the end they know the One who created them, that is, their Lord, and return to Him, these people are among those who have entered the ranks of the saved. Allah Almighty also turns the sins people committed in their past into rewards. For since people are deficient in reason, knowingly or unknowingly they may sin. Therefore, as long as a person realizes the evil he has done and repents never to commit those evils again.

So the people who followed Noah (peace be upon him) may perhaps have been low-ranking in the past. That is, they may have done every kind of evil, theft, (?). But through their repentance and their return to Allah, these people became people of faith. By being good people in the religion of Allah Almighty who created us, compared to those who deny Allah they have reached a far more virtuous state. Like whom? To give an example, like Pharaoh's astrologers: when they throw their ropes against Moses, they become a dragon, and they say to Pharaoh: if we win, is there anything for us (?) They say. You will have both a reward and be close to me, he says. In this situation they throw their ropes to destroy Moses (peace be upon him); they look like monsters.

And when Moses throws his staff and it swallows them, they say: I have believed. This, they say, can only happen by Allah's grace. I have believed in Moses and I have believed in the Lord of Moses, they say. After all that sorcery. What does Pharaoh say? You believed in the Lord of Moses without consulting me? he says. I will cut off your hand and foot crosswise, he says. I will execute you, I will hang you, he says. It doesn't matter at all, they say. Two days earlier, two days later, our passing on to the hereafter (?). As long as we go into the presence of our Lord, they say. Look at that faith.

Look at their former state. Look at that faith. In the past, people may have been low-ranking. They may not have heard the truth. But after hearing the truth, turning to the truth and, regretting the things one has done, living with a feeling of remorse makes a person (?).

Allah Almighty says: do not mock, that is, ridicule, any people. Perhaps that people is better than you. But the leaders of the people of Noah (peace be upon him), regarding those who followed Noah, these people of faith, despite their nobility and virtue, merely because they believed, call them low-ranking. Because they believed. Because it didn't suit them. Today's leftists – some leftists, not all of them. There are deceived ones among them. Let me tell you about the word leftist. Allah Almighty, in the Holy Quran, Surah Al-Waqi'ah, verse 7: (?) Verse 8: O rightists, glad tidings to you. Verse 9: O leftists, woe to you, He says. When a person says "I am a leftist", be careful.

Even if he says "Allah", faith in him has remained just a dot. He never comes anywhere near Allah's side. (?), envying the unbeliever, seeing them as superior, following him, and being far from the (?) of the religion of Islam, despising those who live the religion of Islam as tradition – that is found among the leftists. Isn't it so? They live it, there it is, our life. Well, if we say it, are we lying? What has appeared before our eyes. Those who said: uncover your head, or I won't let you study. Isn't that so? Have we forgotten the leftists? Those who insulted women with covered heads. Those who put every kind of material means and their blood into keeping children away from the religion of Islam.

Have we forgotten these? Who did this? Ve ashâbü'l-meş'emeti mâ ashâbü'l-meş'emeh. Where He says: O leftists, woe to you. Yes. So beware of these leftists. They despise the people of faith who go about veiled. They despise, despise. Beware. I am now addressing the person who despises.

That veiled person is your mirror. It is not her you despise, you despise yourself. For the believer is the mirror of people, he says. When one sees that believer, the (?) that passes through one's heart is one's own nature. If he loves him, he is a person of faith. If he harbors a grudge, a separation, some thought against him, one must doubt his faith.

This is today's climate. We live in it, we are in this era.

Yes. And what do those people say? They call the people of faith low-ranking people. Aren't they saying it to the same people today? What do these people understand? They understand only one thing: material things. Money. And where there is law, they understand law. Where there is no law, they recognize neither law nor Allah.

That is their nature. Yes.
