Upon this, We saved him and the ones with him (carrying them) in that ship (with full load).
Tafsir
Accepting the prayer of Hadrat Noah (as), Allah (swt) ordered Hadrat Noah (as) to build a ship and to take a couple from every creature on board, together with those who believed in Him. Hadrat Noah (peace be upon him) built an ark according to the recipe. He took on board those who believed in him and a couple from every creature. When everything was ready, Allah (swt) sent a deluge. The whole world was flooded. Allah (swt) saves the ship of Hadrat Noah and those in it.
The meaning of "saved that full ship" is that the ship was filled to the brim as Hadrat Noah (peace be upon him) loaded a pair of every animal on board. In this respect, the expression "that full ship" is used.
What is said in the video
And in verse 119 of Surah Ash-Shu'ara: thereupon We saved him and those with him by carrying them in that laden ship. "That laden ship": its length, its width, how it is to be built, He makes known to Noah. And Noah builds a ship according to Allah Almighty's description, and again by our Lord's command (the later verses will come to this too) he puts one pair of every created kind onto the ship. He boards the ship together with those who believe in him. The earth makes water overflow. Water also pours down from the sky. And the ship slowly begins to rise among those waves. A miracle.
Noah (peace be upon him) prays, and when his prayer is accepted, Allah Almighty has Noah (peace be upon him) build a ship and commands him to take into it, together with those who believe in him, from every creature one pair. And Noah (peace be upon him) builds a ship according to His description. With those who believe in him, he takes one pair of every creature onto the ship. When everything is ready, Allah Almighty sends down a deluge. The whole world ends up under water. Allah Almighty saves the ship of Noah (peace be upon him) and those in it.
There's a (?) here. Let me wipe it off. Yes.
Having saved that laden ship: the meaning is, when Noah (peace be upon him) loaded one pair of every animal onto the ship, the ship was filled to the brim. That is why the expression "that laden ship" is used.
Now look at the greatness of Allah Almighty here. He takes a pair of lions, a pair of tigers, a pair of cheetahs, a pair of monkeys, a pair of snakes, a pair of scorpions. Think of all the created beings. A laden ship. None of them eats another.
One pair each. Now look at the greatness of our Lord.
When the waters receded and the ship came to rest, these animals were hungry. They (?) each other. Still they don't eat each other. The one who feeds them is Allah; He feeds them. Like this. I witnessed an event. Let me tell you about it. I was still young, young. That is, by young I mean around 15 or 16. I was in the district of Rize called Pazar, at the place now called Güzelköy. Snow had fallen. Snow. Everything is snow-white.
There are fields. Fields. Beside them, fences strung with wire like this.
Something like an airplane. It's dropping meat. Meat. I saw this with my own eyes. Of course, back then I thought: probably the state is dropping meat for them, so that the animals don't go hungry. Now the time has come: Allah Almighty is guarantor of His creatures' sustenance; since He has programmed their lineage until the Day of Judgment, if they are to reproduce and not die out, He feeds them. The event of Noah is exactly like this too. Allah Almighty fed them. Another example of this: if you don't accept what I told you, another example is how the people of the Children of Israel were fed by Allah Almighty in the Desert of Tih, like that.
Understood? After that they multiply, they reproduce. So that as they multiply they don't multiply too much, He maintains the balance of the world, after all; after Adam, after Noah there is the multiplying of people, there is the multiplying of creatures.
My Lord has shown me many things. That is, I have lived through, I have lived through many events.
