Tafsir
People are created in such a way that they need each other in society. There are such matters that if a person tells his/her intentions directly to the other person, the other person will misjudge him/her and will have suspicions about him/her. However, if he finds an intermediary for what he is going to say and has it said through the intermediary, the matter will be connected positively and people will be freed from suspicions. If we give an example of this event; We have a son and we are going to marry him off. Although our situation is very good, the father of the girl he wants for his son and the father of the boy are on bad terms. The children also want each other. Even though the father of the boy made the father of the girl talk to the father of the girl several times, the father of the girl stubbornly says that he will not give his daughter to this man's son. In the meantime, the person who will be an intermediary for a good deed rolls up his sleeves, goes to the girl's father, sweetly tells him that the boy has a good job, is a man of honor and knows Allah, convinces the girl's father with Allah's commands, reconciles the two parties, and if he causes good, Allah will grant this intermediary a share of the rewards they will receive.
Or if they dissuade people from drinking, gambling, fornication, etc., and lead them to the right path, or if they cause them to do so, or if they tell people about Allah's commandment and show them the truth and cause them to wake up from sleep, Allah will bestow great rewards on such people.
And whoever is an intermediary in a bad deed, who tries to dissuade people from the religion of Islam, who incites people to evil, who leads them to the way of taghut, who intervenes to lead them to the way of Shaytan, he too will receive his share in sin for what he has done, for this is outside the commandments of Allah.
Verily, whatever people do, even if they have done an iota of good, they will be rewarded. And even if they have done an iota of evil, they will be recompensed for it. Because Allah is (Alaysallahu bi ahkamil hakimin). He is the judge of judges. He does not wrong anyone even an iota or a hair's breadth. Because Allah is the Rightful Recompenser of everything. Allah does not need anything, so there is no favoritism, bribery or favor in His sight. Allah is not unjust to anyone. Allah does not intend cruelty to people. But every soul that does evil wrongs wrongs itself. In this respect, our Lord said (Fa man ya'mel miskala zerratin fan yerah. And men ya'mel miskâle zerratin sharran yerah).
What is said in the video
Yes, Surah An-Nisa, verse 85, that's where we stopped.
Allah Almighty always encourages people to good, to good. In this verse too: whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a share of it. Whoever intercedes for a bad cause will have a portion of it. Allah is the Giver of recompense for everything, it says. Amen. Whoever does a good deed, a good deed, it need not necessarily be worship. For example, two people are cross with each other. Reconciling these people, making them close to each other again, putting into their hearts friendship, peace, Allah's mercy, His light, and to bring about unity in that person's religion, Islam: if he reconciles these estranged people for that, what a good deed he has done.
and so on. Or someone needs money. In distress.
Well, I don't have any to give him either. What will I do? If there are good people I know, on whom my word carries weight, that is, rich people, people with money, I explain the situation. So-and-so is in such and such a situation. If we give this person such help, we will secure his livelihood. And we will have done good to these people.
When we say, could you perhaps lend this person a hand, he of course says, gladly. How much, Hodja? Well, three thousand lira, five thousand lira, ten thousand lira, whatever. Well, he takes it out and gives it, and if we meet that person's need, the same as that person, of the reward that person has earned we (?).
To the same reward that person earned, Allah Almighty, rich, generous, (?). If we give cause to evil, to evil:
Because of our nafs we get angry at people, we lay traps for them, and one man says, look, I'm angry with that man, you tell that man, draw him over there, and I'll trap him, I say. And he does that knowingly. That person, well, likewise falls into that evil. Allah Almighty, for people to turn to good, to do good, and if they can't, to intercede for good, and for Allah (?) to bestow favour on His servants, opens the gates of mercy to them from every side, from every side over people. But people have become so selfish that these people are so adorned with worldly desire that this world in their eyes looks rosy.
The desire of the nafs has (?).
With that claim of ego, ego, he will (?) to people, he will be proud of his wealth, his property. Well, in this situation, in order to show himself as progressive, well, he will dress outside Allah's commands and, in an air of ego, the wealth Allah granted him as if it were his own, as if it were wealth he himself created, boasting, stepping on people's backs to see and show himself superior to them, he makes every effort he can.
This too is an evil. This too is an evil. Yes. For this, a person will know Allah's commands well. He won't follow the desire of the nafs. He will be compassionate and merciful to Allah's creatures. He will give up his own interests. If a person competes in good like this, Allah Almighty opens the gates of mercy to him. He doesn't leave him alone, in this world or in the hereafter. Yes.
let's look at our tafsir, what we wrote in our tafsir.
People in society have been made in such a way as to need one another. Of course. People were created incomplete.
They go on by meeting their needs through one another. I am an electrical engineer. Another is a baker, another a carpenter, another, let's say, a mechanic. In this way we all need one another. These branches are divided, and by being means for each other we both sustain our lives and, since in this exchange we need one another, we carry on our lives in the best way. But we have corrupted this too. When we need a mechanic, we take our car, we plead, we catch him, we get our car fixed. He believes our words. After the man has done the job, off he goes. Without ever again regarding that person's right, his due, violating his right and his due, takes his car and goes (?), and (?) his money.
We have corrupted these areas too. So how far will we go on corrupting, and how far will we keep up our distrust of one another? In the end we will be condemned to loneliness. To loneliness. So, as far as we can, we will be faithful to our word, and to keep up our unity and togetherness we will carry one another on our backs. Allah Almighty both tests us through one another and makes us witness to what kind of person we are. In this case, if we behave well, if we act well, we will attain good qualities too. People in society have been made in such a way as to need one another. There are matters where, if a person tells his intention directly to the other, the other person may misjudge him and fall into suspicions about him.
In that case things that would work out are turned upside down. This is where an intermediary is needed. That intermediary (?) as if he had done that deed himself. An intermediary is needed.
But if he finds an intermediary for what he will say and has it said through the intermediary, the matter is settled positively, and people are freed from suspicions. To give an example: we have a son, we will marry him off.
Things nearly all of us go through. Although our situation is very good, the father of the girl he will ask for and the boy's father are on bad terms. The boy's father and the girl's father are on bad terms. Even though the boy and the girl want each other, the girl's father says, I won't give my daughter to that man, to that man's son.
Yes.
Even if the boy's father went, went to ask the girl's father for the girl, with that (?) that father wouldn't give that girl to that boy, wouldn't, wouldn't, because they're on bad terms. Yes, although our situation is very good, the father of the girl his son will ask for and the boy's father are on bad terms. The children want each other. Although the boy's father had the girl's father sounded out a few times, the girl's father says out of spite that he won't give his daughter to this man's son. He has him sounded out. That is, if we went to that man and asked for his daughter; just tell us, what does he think about us?
The intermediary goes and tells the situation. The girl's father says to the intermediary: I won't give my daughter to that man's son. I am not (?) to that man, he says.
Meanwhile, a person rolls up his sleeves for a good cause. He goes to the girl's father. With kind words he tells him the boy has a good job, is honest and is a person who knows Allah. He persuades the girl's father to Allah's commands and reconciles the two sides, and if there is reward too, Allah, to this intermediary, their intermediary, bestows a share of the rewards on this intermediary. He does; he says to the girl's father: come, don't be stubborn, (?) the children, let's make them happy. You, if people pass judgement from the past, they stay in that past and cannot free themselves from the passion of that past; feelings of hatred and resentment engulf them.
Yet people are not free of error; the boy's father may once have committed a mistake against you, but today he too is full of regret. In that case, how long will you keep up this grudge? Even Allah Almighty, when a person turns back from not worshipping Him, from disrespect or disobedience, and asks Allah Almighty, forgive me, Allah Almighty opens the gates of mercy to him. And since we came to this world to prove what kind of person we are, in this case there is also the Prophet's hadith: Adorn yourselves with the morals of Allah Almighty, it says. If we abandon these and with feelings of the nafs, with hatred and resentment, break the children's hearts too, that does not suit us, he says.
He persuades the man like this with religious matters, warns him, and if we reconcile them, of course to him from Allah the very reward they will receive comes too. Yes. Or he deters people from afflictions like drink, gambling, fornication. He draws them to the right path. If he is a cause for this, if they are, he tells people Allah's command and shows them the truth, and if he causes a person to wake from sleep, Allah grants such people great rewards. See, he turned them to good, he kept those people from drink, from gambling, from fornication away. (?) He made them fear Allah, and so this person has guided people to good.
Of course Allah Almighty, to this person who caused those people in this way to observe Allah's command in how they act, surely Allah will give his reward. Yes.
Now, if he is an intermediary for a bad deed, for a bad deed: he strives to turn people away from the religion of Islam, drives individuals to evil, leads them to the taghut; if he engages in mediation that will draw them onto Satan's path, since these states are outside Allah's commands, he too takes his share on the path of sin in return for what he did. Yes. Allah Almighty gives people tidings of Paradise and Hell. That is, He says these places exist. He says Paradise and Hell exist. He gives the doer of good tidings of Paradise, and warns the doer of evil with Hell. Within these two paths Allah Almighty always tries to steer people to good.
Because Allah is compassionate and merciful to His creatures. Allah is not oppressive towards His creatures. In this case Allah Almighty, with all kinds of verses, with all kinds of examples, shows us, for the hereafter, the ways of salvation. Of the hereafter; no one is permanent in this world. Everyone in this world is a traveller, a nomad, in a guest house. So in this guest house, carrying out what the host says, we are obliged to. If we go outside what he says, we are (?), we become (?). They throw us out. And Allah Almighty's throwing out is, in the hereafter, from over them cutting off His mercy. There they are alone and without anyone, He says. So He says: O man, by this temporary world, do not be deceived.
Never let the rosy look of this world deceive you. Though that nafs given to you colours your life, though it ties you to life, though it keeps you living with the pleasure of life, never heed its commands. If you come under its command, you will be humiliated. Because its desire and wish never end. Its nafs, its desire, its pride, its arrogance, its glory, its fame, its grandeur, its ego, its worldly desire never end. In this case you will have rebelled against your Lord. So with this reason I gave you, let's say it gets steered as it should. Master it. Master it, rule that nafs of yours, so that in Allah's sight you rise.
So that you are ruled by His commands. So that you turn your back on the taghut. Satan's (?). Yes.
And whoever is an intermediary for a bad deed, strives to turn people from the religion of Islam, drives people to evil, leads them to the taghut, if he engages in mediation that will draw them onto Satan's path, since these states are outside Allah's commands, he too takes his share on the path of sin in return for what he did. Surely, whatever people do, if one does an atom's weight of good he will see its recompense, if he does an atom's weight of something, again he will see its recompense too. That is what Allah Almighty says. Ve men ya'mel miskâle zerratin hayran yerah. An atom's weight of good you have done will be written.
Ve men ya'mel miskâle zerratin şerran yerah. An atom's weight of evil will be written too, it says. On that Day of Judgement, when the Supreme Court is set up, when He says that day judgement is Allah's alone, the good deeds and sins we have done will be weighed on the scale, weighed on the balance. That day, I say, if your sin outweighs your good deeds, neither a friend nor a helper do I have. But if your good deeds outweigh your sins, that day, even one property, hundreds of properties could not take the place of that world of Paradise. Allah too is with you. He will admit you into His promised Paradise.
He will admit you. There, your friend is your worship. So never, abandoning your friend, your worship, take your place beside your nafs, your enemy. Yes.
Surely, whatever people do,
if one does an atom's weight of good, he will see its recompense. If he does an atom's weight of something, he will see its recompense. Because Allah is the Judge of judges. He does not wrong anyone by an atom's weight or a hair's breadth. What does Allah Almighty say? On that day, that is, on that Day of Judgement, in the Supreme Court, Eleysallahu bi-ahkemi'l-hâkimîn, Allah Almighty, the Judge of judges: today, without anyone being wronged, everyone will be given what he earned in full, as the due of his two hands, He says. In full, as the due of his two hands.
Yes. I said it earlier. Then never abandon worship, your friend. It is your capital. Never spend it. Keep that capital of yours. For the dark day; that dark day is, at that Supreme Court, the presence of your Lord. There, if you have capital, you have won. If you have no capital, you have wronged yourself. Yes.
Because Allah is the rightful Giver of recompense for everything. Since Allah needs nothing, there is no favouritism with Him. You know how in this world people are deceived for three cents, five cents, fifty cents, they present people who are unworthy as if worthy, for material gain they bring him (?) out. But in Allah's command there is none of this. Why not? Look what it says in His verse. That day when they see the torment, not this world, it says, even if as much as a world-full and another world besides were theirs, they would want to give it to Allah as ransom and be saved, it says.
So Allah Almighty needs nothing. He is the Creator. Because He values the human He created so much, He made him His addressee, and sometimes the words go a bit deep, you know: He willed that (?) be known. That is why He left man his partial will free and gave him of His spirit. Yes.
Man is such a precious being. If man knows his place.
Since He is oppressive to no one, Allah Almighty, Allah is not oppressive. Even those who enter (?), He does not wrong them. That is what Allah Almighty says. We do not wrong you, He says. You wrong your own selves. So if my Lord has spread the world of dominion under my feet, if He has made me vicegerent of the earth, if He has made me His addressee, if He has given me of His spirit and made me the noblest of creatures,
yes, how can you turn your back on this? What does it say?
Allah Almighty is not oppressive to people; to your Lord who has granted you so many favours, if you turn your back, if you don't do what He says, if you show ingratitude to Him, did Allah wrong you, or did you, yourself, your nafs, wrong? That is why a person will first use his reason. He will call himself to account in his conscience. That this creation, this universe has an owner, and that within this world it is not possible for a person, with his own nafs, to live as he wishes. Because Allah Almighty, for man to be able to live his every desire and wish, he would only have to follow Satan's trail, He tells us.
If man were able to live his every desire and wish, he would have to follow Satan's trail to turn towards it. And he will live it if it is in his destiny, of course. What will he do? I will buy a villa, there's no money, what will I do? Wherever I see a rich person, I'll rob him. Or I'll kill him in a deserted place and take his money. Or I'll secretly rob a bank. Or I'll swindle someone. And isn't this following Satan's trail? For you to be able to live that life. Today pay attention, today pay attention, many people: let him take it at that moment, let him take that money, (?) (?), he doesn't think of what comes after.
Those who follow Satan's trail, who do not respect what is right. Yes. Despite Allah Almighty valuing man so much, if man turns his back on Allah Almighty and engages in (?) Allah Almighty does not want, that person has wronged his own self. Allah does not wrong him. Yes. Allah shows people the ways to Paradise. He shows the ways of salvation. To us too, (?). Know Me, say Allah. Know that there is no god but Me.
Do not follow the bad (?) of your nafs.
As far as you can, and however weary you grow, keep up your worship. And be merciful to created beings. How beautiful. If you are like this, people will love you and Allah will love you. Yes.
Since Allah Almighty is oppressive to no one, He does not will oppression for people. But every soul that does evil wrongs itself. Yes. Every soul that does evil, its own self, its own being it wrongs.
