What is wrong with you that you are divided into two groups regarding the hypocrites? They returned themselves back (to blasphemy) due to their own deeds. Are you trying to bring those to the straight path, who gone astray from Allah? (Don’t try in vain) They cannot find the straight path (while they are on that path).

Tafsir

It is narrated that the hypocrites living outside Madinah had the appearance of getting along well with the Muslims. However, these hypocrites take advantage of the Muslims by creating benefits for themselves among them. At the same time, they look out for their weaknesses. These hypocrites also spy among the Muslims in favor of the enemies of Islam and inform their enemies about the situation of the Muslims. Since some Muslims are unaware of these hypocrites, they say that this verse has been revealed against those Muslims who defend them. There are many other narrations like this.

(What has happened to you that you are divided into two groups about the hypocrites?) Hypocrites are people who are rebellious against Allah and are inferior to the people of the Book. Because the disbelievers of the People of the Book say, 'This is who we are, we are rebels against Allah and we do not believe in what has been sent down to you. They make themselves known. A hypocrite is a person who shows himself to be a Muslim in the company of Muslims, but in reality he is not a believer. These are dangerous. They are in the lowest layer of Hell. These are the hypocrites.

People love the other person and turn a blind eye to what he does because of the benefits they gain as a result of their exchange with each other. They do not think whether it will harm them or not, but the hypocrite will take advantage of this sincere and self-serving person and when the time comes, he will strike such a blow that he will take what he has and, if necessary, take his life. Allah says, "Weigh and try the people with whom you have dialog, and stay away from the hypocrites, for they are wrongdoers who do not recognize rights and law and do not submit to Allah and the Messenger. Do not argue among yourselves by siding with them, saying that they are good people.

(Allah, Who made a covenant with the people (in Kalu Bela), speaks of the hypocrites' denial of Our Lord and the fate He gave them according to their desires and wishes. It is the downfall in the face of the truth of people who prefer disbelief, who dictate their own desires and wills as their destiny according to their own desires. They are the ones who, according to their own desires and wishes, have the seeds of hypocrites and hypocrites sown among people as their destiny. They pretend to agree with people outside their own mentality for their worldly interests and benefits. In fact, these people, who do not think about anyone but themselves, look for the open sides of the people they seem to be sincere with. Even though they appear to be from you, they are alone with their own blasphemy. They will never turn back from their disbelief.

(Do you want to guide those who deviate from Allah?) O human beings! According to the Verse (You cannot will unless We will), (let us briefly mention this Verse here, which will be opened in due course) (in Kalu Bela) when Allah (swt) made a covenant with human beings, He wrote their desires and wishes as their destiny. There is no one who can change this destiny. Only Allah is capable of that. Allah (swt) says that since Allah (swt) has written everyone's will according to their desires and wishes, no action can be taken on what has been written. Only Allah is able to change what is written. Since Allah (swt) will not change what He has written, He says, "Unless We will, you cannot will". Those who ask Allah for their deviation, who know their Lord but cannot compromise their ego, know Allah's creation, take, eat, drink and benefit from it, but do not want to return to Allah. Do you want to guide these people who have turned their backs on Allah and have made their destiny so written, and no power or might can ever change their destiny again?

(Those who seek deviation from Allah (those who continue in that state) will not find the right path). As we have explained in the above lines, you will never find a right path for people who have planted the seeds of rebellion in themselves, who have raised the flag of rebellion against Allah, who have given in to the desires of their nafs, who have sided with the tagut, and who have implanted these characters in themselves by desiring these situations. No one can change the writing of the One who has made it written for him as destiny, and no one has the power to change this writing. As we said in the verse above (You cannot will unless We will), this is only in the power of the one who wrote this script, our Lord. And a word has come from Us (there is a Book in Us that is preserved in the Levh-i Mahfuz, it is written with the clean hands of angels, no addition or omission is made to it afterwards).

O man! You cannot find a right path for these people who have made such a corrupt and perverse covenant. Even if you call them to the truth, you cannot make them hear.

What is said in the video

SURAH AN-NISA, VERSE 88: What is the matter with you, that you have split into two groups about the hypocrites? Yet Allah has turned them upside down because of what they earned.

they have been returned to their disbelief. Do you want to guide one whom Allah has let go astray? For one who wants straying from Allah there can never be a right path.

According to a report, hypocritical people living outside Medina the Radiant, with the Muslims getting along well, while in fact taking advantage of their situation and watching for their weak points, and at the same time reporting the Muslims' situation to their enemies. Some Muslims were unaware of this state of the hypocrites, and because they defended them, this verse was revealed, they say. There are many more reports like this. Yes. Even if there is a report, it is (?). The verses tell us about people's states. The verses address time, past time and future time. The verses.

What is the matter with you, that you have split into two groups about the hypocrites? Hypocrites are people rebellious against Allah, in a lower state than the People of the Book. Because the disbelievers among the People of the Book say: this is what we are, we are rebels against Allah and we do not believe in what was sent down to you. These people make themselves known. That is, they believe in the made-up books in their hands, run after their own nafs, as if from Allah, as if a book, together with what they made up with their own hands, they make up a religion and worship it; in fact they worship their own nafs.

They say Allah is three. As for the hypocrites, their colour is not clear. He comes to a Muslim and appears as, I am a Muslim. He goes to the disbeliever: we are only mocking them, we are with you, they say. They turn to whichever side suits their interests.

That is why they are in the lowest level of Hell. The hypocrites.

A hypocrite is one who shows himself as a Muslim beside a Muslim, but in fact does not believe, and for his own gain appears so beside them. These are dangerous. These are the ones they call hypocrites. As a result of the dealings people have with one another, because of some benefits they gain, they love the other person and turn a blind eye to what he does. He has something to gain from him. And within that gain, (?). He doesn't think whether the person will do him harm or not. But the hypocrite, watching for his chance against a sincere person who is also a bit fond of his own interest, when the time comes, strikes such a blow that he takes what is in his hand, in his palm, and if need be takes his life too.

Yes. So Allah: weigh up the people you deal with. Test them; keep away from the hypocrites, keep away. Because they recognise no right or law, they (?) Allah and the Messenger, they are wrongdoers, He says. Take your place beside them, say about them they are good people, do not argue among yourselves. Do not say to people you listen to, this is a good person.

The man is a drinker, a gambler, the man is a liar, a swindler, but he has treated you well too, and for that good side of the man you say, he is a good man. Yet in My sight a good person is one who fears Allah and obeys what Allah has sent, bows to the Messenger, is ruled by the noble Sunnah and by the verses, fears Allah and keeps up his worship. a good person. One who avoids evils. Yes, these people have sins they committed without meaning to, through their mistakes or through their selfish feelings (?). They are not free of sin. But since those sins are few beside what they do, since their good deeds overall, their goodness, their good sides are many, you call this one a good person.

On the other hand, that person's evil is very great, his good very little. You cannot call him a good person. Yes.

Yet Allah has turned them upside down because of what they earned. Because of what they themselves did. That is, with their own covenant, with their own wishes, they had their own destinies written, and in that way they are people who live out their own desires and wishes. The meaning of upside down here: Allah, who made a covenant with people in (?), speaking of their denial of their Lord and of the destiny He gave them, they are people who, according to their own desires, had their own wishes and aims written for themselves as destiny, who prefer disbelief. So, we, they had the seeds of hypocrisy written for themselves as destiny.

Yes, they had the seeds of dissembling and hypocrisy among people written for themselves as destiny. We skipped a line; so We turned them upside down. According to their desires and wishes they have the seeds of dissembling and hypocrisy among people written for themselves as destiny. Although they appear to be of you, they are alone with their own disbelief. They never turn back. Because Allah Almighty tells us about them, and the Prophet tells us too, who they are, the hypocrites. Well, in that covenant they had their wishes like that written for themselves as destiny, these people. Do they never turn back?

That is, now, Allah knows the unseen. Right now a person may act the hypocrite, but you see he turns back tomorrow. But for most of those hypocrites, if he is a hypocrite, for most of them, their turning back is very rare. Their turning back. I know one like that too. He used to come to me. To me.

He would add five more to the five daily prayers behind me. I would tell him. I said: son, look, whatever you want, say it. But don't be a hypocrite. Don't pray this prayer for this need. If you are going to pray, don't pray for Allah's creatures. Pray to worship Allah. Whatever you want, say it, he would say to me.

That is, these are people like that. And he went like that. And he went like that. Allah protect us.

To this, what does it say?

Do you want to guide to the right path those who strayed from Allah? it says. Now Allah Almighty, those hypocrites who will never turn back, who had their destinies written for themselves, that is, their wishes written as destiny for themselves, those who had them written, Allah Almighty knows them anyway. What does it say? (?) So He made a covenant with each one according to their desires and wishes, and their wishes He placed in them as characters, and their destinies were written. And now He tells us of them, He tells people. What does it say? Those who strayed from Allah (?) you want to guide? it says.

In one verse, what does Allah Almighty even say? To the Prophet (peace be upon him): My beloved, even if they are those you love, you cannot make the deaf hear, He says. The deaf. Yes.

O people! According to the verse: you cannot will unless We will. This verse will be opened up when its turn comes. Let's touch on it briefly here. (?) when We made a covenant with people, We wrote their desires and wishes for them as destiny. There is no one who could change this destiny or not change it. That is, it is not in his hands. Because with that desire and wish, that aim was worked into him as character. If there is any force that can change it, that is Me, says Allah Almighty. You cannot will unless We will. Only Me. But a word from Us too has remained. Paradise and Hell, He says. We gave everyone's will into his own hands.

So, without pressuring or forcing anyone's will, without interfering with them, We left them alone with their own will. And so We wrote their desires and wishes for them as destiny. We are not going to change this again, He says. Yes.

Only We are capable of this. Since We wrote everyone's aim according to his own wishes, on these writings no further change is made, He says. So the one who wants (?) from Allah, who knows his Lord yet does not give up his nafs, who knows Allah's creatures, takes, eats, drinks, benefits, yet does not want to return to Allah, turns his back on Him, and has his own destiny written like this and whose destiny no force or might can ever change again: these people, do you want to guide them to the right path? He says. Yes.

For the one who wants straying from Allah you can never find a right path. For the one who wants straying from Allah you can never find a right path for him. However much you show him the right path, he goes the crooked way. sometimes we meet people, we tell them about Allah; to whom? you prove it to a non-Muslim, he can't find a word to say, you, he says, are stealing my mind, he says;

well, why can't you steal mine? if your mind is being stolen, then you are not on the right path. You are on crooked paths. Can the right path ever have its mind stolen? Yes. So that is his destiny. I met a Jew.

I say Allah; I don't recognise Allah, he says. I don't say Allah, he says. I was coming back from Vienna, he says, in the Alps I had an accident, he says; going round the bend, all I remember, he says, is shouting the word Allah, he says; when I opened my eyes, he says, it was still ringing in my ears, he says; but I would never say Allah, he says; what made me shout, he says, Allah? Well, way back, when Allah Almighty said, am I not your Lord, the spirits heard the word of their Lord, Allah Almighty; the reason called akl-ı maad in the spirit knows Allah, that is what made you shout; not the akl-ı maaş in your body, but the outburst of the spirit there, towards its Lord.

Well, what are you doing now, I said. I'm going to the rabbi now, he said. To the rabbi. But, he said, you explain very nicely. Like my rabbi, he said. And I said to him: I don't explain like your rabbi. Maybe your rabbi explains like me, I said. One day I'll take you to the rabbi, he said. I'm quite sure, I said. I said, I'll go. You tell him, I said. Make an appointment. Let's meet him together, I said. Later he came: the rabbi said, I don't want to see you. Of course he doesn't want to.

Yes. So even though we explain Islam to people this much, you cannot change anyone's destiny. So shall we not explain it? No, we will explain it. Because the keys of the unseen are in Allah's hand. We cannot know what covenant anyone gave to Allah Almighty. In this respect we will enjoin what is right. We will explain it. Within what we explain, if there is a seed in them, a seed of Islam, that (?) rain, rain of mercy, will find in it a (?) life and he will become Muslim. If not, if the seed is rotten, let that mercy rain as much as it likes. Because that seed has rotted. No offspring comes from it.

Yes. For one who wants straying from Allah, you can never find a right path. As we explained in the lines above, the one who has had the seeds of rebellion sown in himself, raised the flag of rebellion against Allah, submitted to the desire of his nafs, taken his place in the ranks of the taghut, and, desiring these states, had these characters placed in himself: for such a person you can never find a right path.

The writing of one who had the writing written for himself as destiny no one can break, and no one has the power to break this writing. As we said in the verse above: you cannot will unless We will. This, only the one who (?) this writing, that is, (?), has the power to. A word from Us too has appeared. With Us there is a book preserved in the Preserved Tablet. It has been written by the pure hands of the angels. According to the verse that says nothing is later added to it or taken from it, the events have been written, the matters are finished. So, O man! For these people who gave their covenant so corrupt and astray, a right path you cannot find.

Even if you call them to the truth, you cannot make them hear. Yes.
