Do they not contemplate the Qur’an? If it came from anyone else but Allah, you would have found many inconsistencies in it.
Tafsir
Since Allah (swt) has given people an intellect to know His Essence, He appeals to their intellect and says, "Will they still not use their intellect? Will they not think about the Qur'an properly? Allah (swt) is addressing people by informing them that the Holy Qur'an is the origin of all sciences, be it in terms of style and meter, be it in terms of words that support each other, be it about the creation of the universe, be it in the Holy Qur'an, that it is not a human fabrication, that if it were a human fabrication, there would be inconsistent words in it, and that this is not the case, that the Qur'an is the Word of Allah alone, and that its messenger is the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), and when will they start thinking properly?
(If it had come from anyone other than Allah, they would have found in it many inconsistencies). In this verse, addressed to mankind, Allah says that there is no God but Allah, the only complete and perfect God, and that all other creatures are incomplete and faulty, and that if the Qur'an had not come to you from Us as a guidance and a guide, you would have found many inconsistencies in this Book, which was sent to you because of the incompleteness and faulty nature of all creatures.
If we give a few examples that it is not a human string, each verse supports another verse and all verses support each other. It is a separate miracle that the verses contain many meanings that our minds cannot comprehend, and that they pass from meaning to meaning, with the address to the avama in the first sense, to the havvas in the second sense, and to the havvasul havvas in the third sense. Since the Qur'an contains both the wet and the dry, the Qur'an also contains the secret of Allah's creation, i.e. the secret of creation out of nothing, according to the verse that says, "There is a Book in Our Faith that is preserved in the Levh-i Mahfuz, and no addition or omission is made to it afterwards." The Qur'an contains the secret of Allah's creation. He declares that this Book, which is full of miracles, is not a human invention, but a Book sent by Allah, the Complete and Perfect, as a mercy to mankind so that they may be guided and find life.
What is said in the video
That is, that there is a Creator, that there is a Lord who created this universe, and that Allah Almighty has power over all He has created, and that to you, by giving so many warnings, His Essence openly, as if seeing the outward, as if seeing outward matter, to every rational being, although He proves His existence, although every rational being, every person too knows that a Lord created me, although he knows that,
will that Lord who created you not one day call you to account? Will you never use your reason, never reflect? And in the light of these verses, so many verses that do not belie one another, without belying one another, to us, before us as evidence, as light, the One who sends His verses as light and evidence, Allah Almighty: will you not turn to Allah Almighty, then? Will you not recognize Him as Lord? Or, the moment you recognize Him, will you not master your nafs and, to your Lord who created you, bow and worship? Can you not, will you not? He does not forget you; He gives your sustenance, feeds you, gives you drink, protects you from evils for a lifetime. Do you never meet with accidents by chance?
He keeps you from all events outside your destiny. You, it says, are protected by many beings not yet known, according to the verse. He protects us. Well, to such a glorious, merciful owner who gives us our sustenance and created us, our duty will we not do? Will we not be ashamed? What if (?) He said: I gave you so many blessings, so much (?) I gave, so many children I gave, or good health and well-being I gave you; even if you have no wealth, He will show you those who suffer illness. Despite these, toward so many blessings given you were still ungrateful and you denied My verses. Or you ignored them, disregarded them; although as your owner so much sustenance I gave, you did not even thank Me once.
If He said that, what would you do tomorrow, on that day, on the Day of Judgment? Yes.
Still will they not reflect on the Quran as they should, it says. Had it come from someone other than Allah, they would have found in it many inconsistencies that do not agree, it says. That is, there would be many words belying one another.
Since Allah Almighty gave people a reason that knows His Essence, addressing these people's reason: will they still not use their reason?
Allah Almighty, who created us in the state of Lahut, in the realm of Lahut, when we were souls, which is our real being anyway. The body is entrusted to us. Don't mind it; we will shed the body and go. We will shed my body. Pardon?
An eyelash must have got into my eye. Yes, in old age eyelashes fall out, eyebrows fall out, everything falls out. It will fall out. Allah Almighty, who created us (?), Allah Almighty gave us reason, the reason called (?). And at that address 'Elestü bi Rabbiküm', when He said 'I created you', every reason knows this: a God, a deity, a Lord created me. Because He gave that reason.
In this case people, that is, our souls there, our being, that is, know that I was created. I was created. Therefore every person who comes into the world, every person, even if he never saw a prophet or a human face, even if he lived in the remotest forests of Africa, as they do, they too know that I was created; they believe in sorcerers, they worship whomever, they worship trees, they worship (?), I mean. Why do they do it? They know they were created. They know it from that reason. They know it from the reason (?). There is a creator. I was created. But because He gave man a part of His Essence, man, with man's exact appearance, could not believe in the Lord who created him, and waited for the Lord of his own imagination.
Therefore, in pride and arrogance, he turned his back on Him. Allah Almighty calls them lying disbelievers, doesn't He; He says their hearts are scattered and restless, doesn't He; calling them lying disbelievers stems from their denying Allah at the root, from denying the Lord who created them; He calls them lying disbelievers.
In this case He made a covenant with them one by one, with all people. So everyone's wishes, desires and aim became his destiny. What we call partial will: with those people's wishes and desires, those people's own aims were written for them as destiny. So Allah Almighty, free of deficient attributes, sent us to this material world, so that man would not say: You should have sent me to an unseen world, that is, to a world where Your Essence is unseen You should have sent me; I would have worshipped You there. So here you are, He sent you. O man, think a little, think a little.
Wherever you are, you know that I was created. However much you may hesitate, you know you were created. So, to thank that Creator, bow your neck to Him. Do not be ungrateful. Know your duty. Look, today in those remote corners of Africa, with those sorcerers, those who make fire stones, even worshipping in that way, they do something. They try to do something.
In their imagination, without seeing; perhaps no one told them anything, explained it; we don't know. Because Allah Almighty says: unless We have made it known, We call no one to account. They too do something in their own way. But you: you heard, you listened; with a developed reason, amid proofs, you were governed by the verses, and now a person will use his reason, will reflect a little. Yes, to every person Allah Almighty, one that knows His Essence, that is, that says 'a Lord created me', gave a reason. Will they not reflect on the Quran as they should, it says? So that this Quran is from the Lord who created me, will he never think?
If this Quran is commands coming to me from the Lord, how can I turn my back on these commands? If you live within a state's laws and break that state's laws, they punish you at once. In this world, Allah's state; these worlds are Allah's state; if you live on Allah's state, within His laws, and turn your back on His law, in this world where you seem left to yourself, as if you entered without responsibility, at the moment of death, when you are caught, where will you go in? Have you ever thought? Where will you flee? There is no longer even a hole to flee into. Yes.
His saying 'Will they not reflect on the Quran as they should': whether in terms of the Holy Quran's (?), or in terms of words supporting one another, or about the creation of the universe, that the roots of the sciences are in the Holy Quran, that it is not a human fabrication, that the one who sent it is Allah and His messenger is Muhammad (peace be upon him), when will they begin to reflect on this as they should, He says.
Had it come from other than Allah, from someone else, that is, had this Holy Quran come from someone other than Allah, there would be many inconsistencies in it that do not agree. Now, look at Allah Almighty's word.
Human reason... human reason, let's put it like this, we'll give such an example.
It has a reason of a thousand gigabytes, a thousand gigabytes.
Outside its memory there are words of millions of gigabytes. But our memory is a thousand gigabytes. When it is full at a thousand gigabytes: all errors.
If behind it there are words of a memory of millions of gigabytes, and how they are we cannot know, our speech, since those further gigabytes we have not seen, those (?) full of gigabytes, we cannot know, since we cannot fully grasp the truth, we speak within the truths in our own mind. And however rightly we speak, within our own reason, with words that do not agree with one another we speak. Now let's come to our Lord's mind. Those millions of gigabytes we spoke of, perhaps millions of gigabytes, we said, with the secret of creation, completely perfect, perfect. Just as a computer scans the thing fifty, one thousand, fifty-two thousand times a second, scanning its memory, and brings you what you want in a snap, Allah Almighty too, with His memory, with creating all these worlds, with words that never contradict one another, guides and directs our tiny store of knowledge.
If, with this tiny store of ours, our Lord, these verses of His found in those billions of books, in a way we can understand, gathers and holds before us as a light, and we, within this light, try to explain, then this is our Lord's power: when the person He gave wisdom moves outside the light, a darkness in his heart comes. Then that person understands: I am moving outside this light. At once Allah Almighty sends His inspiration in time, (?). (?). At once He puts him back into that beam.
Yes, these are our Lord's verses. If we cannot be governed by them, with words that do not agree we are constantly put to shame. Had it come from someone other than Allah, there would be in it many inconsistencies that do not agree. In this verse, addressing people, that there is no god but Allah, but only Allah is flawless and perfect, that apart from Him all created things are deficient and flawed, making this known: had the Quran not come to you from Us as guidance and a guide, then because all created things are deficient and flawed, in this book sent there would be many inconsistencies that do not agree, He declares.
Just as with people's speech their (?) come out with one another, if their words (?) one another, so it would have come out in it too. Now, as our child Hadimullah said, Surah Al Imran, verse 55: 'raised to His presence'. Surah An-Nisa, probably 154, verse it will be; not 'raised to His presence'. Allah's word. There the words don't agree. In Surah An-Nisa, look what it says now.
Well, now, Allah declared: O Jesus, I will cause you to die, I will raise you to your presence. Here: raising to the presence after causing death, taking. Now in Surah An-Nisa, well, Surah An-Nisa, 154, verse it will probably be. Let's look at it now, what it says.
Yes. In Surah An-Nisa, in 155, their breaking their word, (?) yes, 158, (?) Allah raised him, Jesus, to His presence, it says. Here too now, in both, His own presence (?); in one of them, look what it says, 158. verse, it says: Bel rafeahullahu ileyh. Here it is raising to His nearness. In the other, raising to His presence. That is, I will cause you to die, I will raise you to My presence. That is, I will take you into My nearness. And here: I will take you under My protection. I will bring you close to Me, but I will take you under My protection. Why does He tell us He will take him under His protection?
What does the previous verse say? Look. And because they said 'We killed (?) Jesus son of Mary', He cursed them. Yet they neither killed him nor hanged him, it says. But the one they killed was made to appear to them like Jesus. Those who disagree about him are therefore in complete uncertainty. They have no sound knowledge of it, only following conjecture. And certainly they did not kill him, it says. Certainly. On the contrary, Allah raised him to His presence. That is, raised him to His nearness. He has not died yet. But in the one in Surah Al Imran it says He will cause you to die and (?). He will raise you to His presence.
Then that (?) will be lifted. Now, since Allah's word is absolutely upon truths, it does not belie itself. But we, when interpreting them, interpret them so nicely wrongly; we take the verses, and the two we try to reconcile with each other. Now is that right, or is this right? We understand only that much, so it turns out that way. But if Allah Almighty raises a scholar, he too, in the light of the verses, (?) these, tries to prove that our Lord is free of deficient attributes. Yes.
So had this been written by a human, there would be in it many words that do not agree. If we give a few examples that it is not a human fabrication: An example. Every verse supports another verse; all the verses support one another. All the verses support one another. Now pay attention. Look at my speech, pay attention to this: not in the light of a single verse; the words we will speak are in the light of the verses that will support that verse. They all gather; they go within one beam. If there were a single verse, I would understand it by my reason, the other (?), they would contradict each other.
In this case none of what I say contradicts the rest. Why? What is the reason? In the light of the verses. If I tried to interpret the verse wrongly, as I said just now, toward the outside of that light beam a darkness begins in the heart. Then you understand that this path is a wrong path. Then Allah's inspiration arrives, and seeing the right, at once that path, in the light of the verses, you start speaking. So what does it say? If we give a few examples that it is not a human fabrication: every verse supports another verse, and all the verses support one another. The verses: in the first meaning addressing the common people, in the second the elite, in the third the elite of the elite, with many more meanings our reason cannot grasp, the meanings following one another, passing from meaning to meaning, is a miracle of its own.
Since the wet and the dry are in the Quran, 'With Us is a book, in the Preserved Tablet it is preserved; nothing is later added to it nor taken from it', according to that verse, Allah's secret of creation, that is, the secret of bringing into being from nothing, too, is in the Holy Quran; for example, two hydrogens and one oxygen form water. So when they are lined up side by side in the verses, what formula do they form? Which formula has what power of creation? Which substance has what creation? And when it comes side by side, what kind of way does it show? This is a book full of secrets within Allah's word.
This is the miracle. The verses are a miracle. Yes. That this book full of miracles is not a human fabrication, that it was sent by the flawless and perfect Allah to people as a mercy, for their guidance and their (?), will they still not reflect on this, declares Allah Almighty. Will they still not reflect? I gave man a fine reason. I equipped man with the fine blessing of reason. And man in himself is equipped with a miracle. The secrets in him are not yet solved, the secrets in man. Those genes, those DNAs; these, by being reduced tens of thousands of times, reaching the chain of those DNAs.
By reducing them tens of thousands of times they see them. Now think: not with these eyes; the One who magnifies it with those microscopes and created it that way is Allah. This knowledge belongs to our Lord's Essence; the duty falling to us, the duty, as the Prophet says, how beautifully he says it: Take it from the old woman's tongue, he says. (?), he says. How beautifully he says it. With Allah. Allah will surely forgive. Why did Allah send us, why did He create us? He created us to know His Essence. So if we say Allah, if we call the Quran truth, knows the prophets as truth, (?) in the hereafter, consents to the conditions of faith, if we did not speak against people, did not backbite, paid a little attention to lawful and unlawful, we would become a saint and fly off to the other side.
Allah does not load on our backs what we cannot bear. Yes. Now, yet the Prophet (peace be upon him) invites us to the Quran.
I am leaving you such a trust that as long as you hold on to it tightly, you will find salvation, he says. O Messenger of Allah, what is it, they say. It is the Holy Quran, he says.
It is the Holy Quran.
Now we have abandoned the Holy Quran. Again the talk comes back to that. We cite sources from the books of Ahmet and Mehmet. Come on, leave those writings behind now. It's over. That era is over. That era is over. Look to the future, the future. Look to the brightness of the future. Try to catch up with the technology of the future. What does technology have to do with the Quran, Hodja? The Quran is Allah's word. All sciences are in the Quran. It already directs you to the future. The past is gone now. In the past, some people interpreted some things. Those people we call saints, those who wrote books, sloppily, wrongly did it.
Some things; if you ask, like what, Hodja: fresh water and salt water stand side by side and do not mix. It says: on such-and-such a mountain, Karacadağ probably, there are two lakes, one fresh, one salty, it says; their waters do not mix, it says.
Whereas our Lord's miracle, in the Strait of Gibraltar, which (?) discovered, where fresh water and salt water do not mix, one side fresh, one side (?), that is particular to divine power. Particular to such a power. A miracle. Likewise, the Quran addresses future ages. Now this era of superstitions is over. People's minds are working. Now it is the computer age. A child this small plays away on the computer. Talks on phones. That is, when he talks on the phone, with the computers inside it he is talking. It moves with giant steps. Superstitions are now behind us. We must go forward with giant steps.
And to keep up with that, we must know the verses of the Quran. We will be governed by the Quran so that we conform to the hadith of the Prophet. I am leaving you such a trust that if you hold on to that trust tightly, you will find salvation. O Messenger of Allah, what is it? It is the Quran, he says. And Allah Almighty says: hold on to the rope of Allah.
Allah's rope is the Quran, you see, the Quran.
Yes. Who, it says, will help Allah's religion? Yes. Allah's, Allah needs my help (?) regarding religion. Allah encourages us. Help Allah's religion. You, on the earth, truth and justice among you, it says, people who explain truth and justice let there be, it says. Among you. Yes. That is why life is the Quran. Living is the Quran. In our death the Quran, on our tongue the Quran.
Well, if we are always governed by the Quran, what will we eat, what will we drink? No, it's all in the Quran. Your rest, your prayer, your life, your, how shall I put it, responsibility, your building up your world. It tells you everything of yours in it. Don't look for it in Ahmet or Mehmet. Don't look for it here and there. İbrahim Fakrullah says it so beautifully. I search for the soul; it was (?) within the soul. Look within yourself. Not here and there. Yes.
Ah, if only we could know Islam, if only we could know Islam. As the Prophet said, they would wage war to take these rights from us, he says. Yes.
