Tafsir
They narrate the revelation of this verse as follows. It is narrated from Hazrat 'A'isha that one day one of the companions came to the Prophet and said. O Messenger of Allah, I love you more than my life, more than my children, more than my mother and father. When I think of you, I cannot stay in my house, I come to you immediately. I satisfy my longing by seeing you while I am in the world. I think, O Rasulallah, that even if I enter Paradise with the great position given to you by our Almighty Lord in the Hereafter, I think I will not be able to see you. The Prophet did not respond to this sincere and heartfelt word and Allah (swt) sent this verse.
(Whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger, they will be with the Prophets, the righteous, the martyrs and the righteous, on whom Allah has bestowed His favors). O man! The world of property is mortal. It is a place of accommodation. It is an inn with two doors. Doesn't Allah (swt) say in His Verse (this realm is the shadow and likeness of the Hereafter)? Then one day we will drink the wine of death and we will be called to account before Allah (swt) on that day of reckoning. Is it worth it in this world, to leave Allah and to be distracted by Allah's creations, to turn your back on Allah by loving the created things more than Allah? Look what a saint says.
Whatever he worships other than Allah is nothing.
Woe to him who is with nothing.
If a person thinks about the realm of truth, the Hereafter, is aware of its existence, and obeys Allah and His Messenger, Allah will make him a companion of the Prophets, the righteous, the martyrs and the righteous. These are the best of friends. These are the people who, even in the life of this world, do not withhold their help from people and do not bear them any grudge, and who tolerate the creature for the creator's sake. How beautiful are their friendships in the Hereafter.
What is said in the video
What does it say here? Whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger, they are with those whom Allah has blessed: the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs and the righteous people. What fine companions they are, it says. If he believes in Allah, His Messenger, His prophet and His book, he is with the truthful and the martyrs, it says. They tell the revelation of this verse as follows. Narrated from our mother Aisha: One day one of the Companions came to the Prophet and said: O Messenger of Allah, I love you more than my own life, my wife and children, my mother and my father, he says. Indeed, had he not said it like this, he could not prove that he loves the Prophet. May my mother and father be sacrificed for you, he says.
Why does he say this? Is it because that Companion does not love his mother and father, or because he loves his own life so much? he says. A person loves nothing in the world as much as he loves his mother and father. Is that so? Because his mother and father raise him. He would even sacrifice his own life for his mother and father. That child. In that case, a person who would sacrifice his life for his mother and father like that, if he sacrifices his mother and father, his wife and children for the sake of the Prophet, think of his love for him. Yes.
When you come to my mind, I cannot stay at home, I come to you at once. While I am in this world, I ease my longing by seeing you, he says. O Messenger of Allah! I think that when we pass on to the hereafter, with the great station our Lord Most High has given you, that is, the Praised Station (Maqam Mahmud),
even if I enter Paradise, (?) I will not be able to see you, he says. Because it is an eighth paradise beyond the seven paradises. People, he says, cannot even imagine it, the Praised Station. Yes. To these sincere and heartfelt words the Prophet gives no reply, and Allah Almighty sends down this verse. Whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger, they are with those whom Allah has blessed: the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs and the righteous, it says. O man! The world of possessions is transient. This world is a place to be a guest. This world of possessions is an inn with two doors. It is not I who say it; Allah Almighty says in His verse that this world is the likeness and shadow of the hereafter.
So one day we will drink the sherbet of death, and to give account in the presence of Allah Almighty we will be called to account on that Day of Reckoning. Where? After death. In the world of the hereafter. The Supreme Court will be set up. E leysallâhu bi-ahkemi'l-hâkimîn, the Judge of judges; according to His verse where He says, on that day judgment is Mine alone, everyone, with what they earned, without anyone being wronged today, in return for what their two hands earned, will be given it in full, it says. Yes. Is this world worth it? Leaving Allah and keeping busy with what Allah created. Loving created things more than Allah and turning one's back on Allah.
Look what a saint says, he says. A saint: whatever one worships other than Allah, it is all nothing. Woe to the one who is with a nothing, he says.
There. There can be no interfaith dialogue. Look what he says. Whatever you worship other than Allah, it is all nothing. If he calls Jesus the son of Allah, makes the sign of the cross to him, if he calls Mary the wife of Allah, if he says Allah is three, we are close to Allah, we are Allah's sons. And if they say torment will not touch us more than three days, if they say so, what a fine answer to them. Whatever one worships other than Allah, it is all nothing; woe to the one who (?) a nothing. So when a person thinks of the hereafter, the world of truth, and becomes aware of its existence, and obeys Allah and His Messenger, Allah makes him a companion of the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs and the righteous.
What fine companions they are. These are people who, even in the life of this world, do not withhold their help from people, do not bear them grudges, and tolerate the created for the sake of the Creator. How fine is their companionship in the hereafter.
