How they come to you after suffering a calamity because of what their own hands have perpetrated, saying; “We only wanted to commit good deeds and sought conciliation.”
Tafsir
What they do with their own hands means that they are subjected to many torments as a result of the disasters and calamities that happen to them as a result of the laws they make according to their own minds, when they come to a dead end. In the meantime, people suffer injustice and oppression. So when a dispute arises between them with the laws they have made with their own hands, they immediately turn to the Prophet and swear in the name of Allah that we wanted to do good to the people and to reconcile them.
When straightforward decisions are made about these people to reconcile them, they turn their backs on these decisions. Because Allah, Who knows what is in their hearts, informs people how they will behave. How they buy these dark paths, preferring perverse paths for themselves, when all the paths of salvation and guidance are in front of them.
What is said in the video
To verse 62 we come, Surah An-Nisa, verse 62. When, because of what their hands have done, a disaster befalls them, at once swearing 'we only wanted to do good and bring about reconciliation', to you how do they come? With their hands. These are the hypocrites, of course. When a disaster befalls them, they say: we only wanted to do good. Their whole business is lies and trickery. 'What their hands have done' means: within the laws they made by their own reason, that is, within the decisions they gave themselves, with disasters that befall them and as a result of calamities, when they hit dead ends, they suffer many torments.
Because they had turned their backs on Allah's verses. They had moved away from them. And in their own estimation they had taken a very fine path. In the end, when disasters coil around their heads, at once they rush to the Prophet. And they swear. Or, since the verse holds until the Day of Judgment, they come to some people before whom they appear good. 'Well, we didn't want to do it like that, but this happened and that happened' — they try to make (?). Meanwhile people suffer injustice and oppression. With the laws their own hands made, when disagreement arises among them, they at once turn to the Prophet, saying 'we wanted to do good to people and reconcile them', and also swear falsely in Allah's name.
In Allah's name.
Let me give you some advice.
Never swear falsely in Allah's name. Here is a verse for you: Satan says, swearing falsely is the amusement of my heart. To deceive people, swearing falsely is the amusement of my heart, he says. Would you ever want to be like Satan? Would you want to fall under this verse about Satan? May Allah protect us. So you worship, you say I am a Muslim, you turn to the truth, and you swear falsely. And, as Satan said, you say swearing falsely is the amusement of my heart. You take Allah lightly and oppose Him, may Allah protect us. Pay attention to this. Never make Allah a tool for your oaths. Yes, about these people: even when, to reconcile them, truly right, perfectly right decisions are given, they turn their backs on these decisions too and leave.
Because Allah, who knows what passes through their hearts, makes known to people how they will behave. While every path of salvation and guidance lies before them, how they choose crooked paths and buy these dark paths for themselves. With Allah's verses, every path of guidance, every path of salvation, every mercy is before us — those who choose dark paths, those who choose swamps, those who wrong their own selves. Yes.
