Those are the ones whom Allah has cursed. For those, you won’t find a real helper.
Tafsir
If they believe in and worship Allah's creatures instead of Allah, the more such people turn away from Allah's mercy, the more Allah will turn them away from His mercy. They are cursed by Allah. They will have neither a friend nor a helper. Allah (swt) says to them in this Ayat (verse), "You will not find a true helper". This means that on the Day of Reckoning, there will be no one to help people except the Judge of Judges on the Day of Reckoning. Because the judgment on that day belongs to Allah alone. If Allah (swt) does not help them and leaves them alone, who can save them from the torment of hell? Allah (swt) will also give His loved ones the right to intercede on that day. It is Allah's mercy on His servants to grant forgiveness from Allah to their relatives in order not to deprive them and to make them happy. Those who are granted this intercession, even if they are relatives, will be ashamed to intercede for Allah's cursed and eternal damned, and will avoid them. So, O man! If we have no helper and intercessor other than Allah, do not turn your face away from Allah. Obey Allah so that Allah will be your helper on the Day of Judgment.
What is said in the video
Surah An-Nisa, verse 52. These, it says, are the ones Allah has cursed. Who are they? The idolaters. Those who associate partners with Allah.
These are the beings Allah Almighty least wants. He even says: do not marry them. They call you to the Fire. You may marry from the People of the Book; you may not marry from them. You know those short-sighted people who say there is abrogation in the Holy Quran, they lump idolaters and the People of the Book together and say this verse was abrogated by that verse. And they accuse Allah Almighty of contradictory words. What does Allah Almighty say? Look, whatever My word was at first, it is the same at the last, they say. So Allah Almighty does not discriminate among His servants. He does not let His other servants marry from these and then not let these servants of His marry from them.
But because the minds of those short-sighted people cannot grasp this, they put the verses on the same scale. So they say this verse was abrogated by that verse. The scholars studying at Al-Azhar University are astonished when they hear of abrogation. Hodja, can there be such a thing, can there be abrogation, he says. There is no abrogation in the Quran, he says. Yes. But we have it. We have it. That is what they say. They opened it up. This verse was abrogated by that verse. And they believe in it so wholeheartedly. When you say there is none, they flare up. Now, if Allah Almighty says of the Beloved of the Almighty, the Seal of the Prophets, Hz. Muhammad (peace be upon him), 'he does not speak idly', and if He Himself in one place says let them marry these, and in another place says do not let them marry these, wouldn't 'he does not speak idly' fail?
Wouldn't the words, as contradictions, fail to agree with one another? Since Allah Almighty will say at the last whatever He said at first, the People of the Book are separate, the idolaters are separate. The idolaters do not believe in Allah, in the Book and so on. They worship idols, they associate partners with Allah. In this case, they call you to the Fire, it says. Do not marry from them, it says. Until they accept Islam. But you may marry from the People of the Book, it says. Yes. What does it say? These are the ones Allah has cursed. Who are they? The idolaters. They shape the lord in their imagination, they make an idol, they bring its spirit from that imagined lord, put it into that shape, and worship it.
So Allah Almighty says in His verse: they will not see their Lord. But people who cannot grasp this either say — you know, some say — in the hereafter people will be gathered blind, sightless. If you say this with a short mind — according to this verse, Allah Almighty has many verses: today, it says, do not dispute in My presence; some even say: we have seen, it says, we have heard; is there no way to return to the world once more, it says. When they are resurrected, they will find themselves at the gathering, it says, at the gathering. In that case, are they blind? These ones.
So at the start he says that this verse, that is, the verse 'they will not see their Lord', is proof that Allah Almighty will be seen in Paradise. Look at the mind, the mind. Allah Almighty will supposedly be seen in Paradise. Look, (?) will not be seen here. Isn't He Eleysallahu bi-ahkemi'l-hâkimîn? Yes. So people who cannot grasp these things make things up as they please. Look how beautifully Allah Almighty says it in His verse. They will not see their Lord. La ilahe illallah. There is no god but Allah, that they could see the lord they extended in their imagination. That is the meaning anyway.
They associate partners with Allah — does Allah have a partner or associate? If there had been another god like that, it says, that one would take what he created and the other would take what he created, and the world would be drowned in corruption, it says. In this case, one must understand the verses well, must know them. Yes. These are the ones Allah has cursed. They are cursed. Until they return to Islam. For the cursed one who has moved away from Allah's mercy, you will find no true helper, it says. A true helper.
Why does Allah Almighty say a true helper? Our Lord, in the hereafter, will give some of His beloved servants the right of intercession for seven up to seventy people. Your Lord will give to you, it says, and you will be pleased. Neither a stain nor sorrow will touch their faces. According to this verse, Allah Almighty will give some of His beloved servants, His saintly servants, the right of intercession for seven up to seventy people. For those whom Allah's mercy has cut off, no one will intercede or be beside him. So there they are without anyone, and alone, it says. Allah Almighty. Where His mercy is cut off.
So what does it say? He will find no true helper either.
Because Allah, the Judge of judges, has laid down His law. Since those saintly servants will not step outside what Allah says, he has no helper at all. And who could a true helper be? Only if there were another god as Allah's partner would there be a true helper. Since there is no such thing, he will find no true helper. That is, the idols they worship will be of no use to them. They will move away from them and leave.
They abandon Allah and believe in Allah's creatures.
If they worship them, then as such people move away from Allah's mercy, Allah too moves them away from His mercy. Whoever, He says, comes one step toward Me, I come closer to him. Whoever comes to Me walking, I come to him running. Whoever, He says, remembers Me within himself, I remember him in such a company, He says, in such a good company I remember him, He says. So whoever moves away from Allah, moves out from under Allah's mercy — Allah rains down His mercy constantly — it means he is moving away from our Lord. It means our Lord is moving away from him too. That's right. If I had a treasure here now and set out to distribute a treasure to you, as you move away from me, I too have moved away from you.
Is there an opposite of this? If you flee from Allah Almighty's mercy — what is His mercy? Knowing that there is no god but Allah. Believing in all the prophets He sent. Being resurrected after death. Believing in the Quran, in His angels. After believing in these, believing in good and evil. After believing in these, it means Allah's mercy spreads over you. In the deeds you do after that, you (?) sin. Fe men ya'mel miskâle zerratin hayran yerah. An atom's weight of good he does is written. Ve men ya'mel miskâle zerratin şerran yerah. An atom's weight of evil is written too. Not only for the Muslim, but for all people.
But for Islam He multiplies them according to intention. And finally, even if a Muslim's sins outweigh his good deeds, when the believer goes to the hereafter, although our Lord will put him into Hell, his place of punishment, there his faith will reach perfection and he will again enter His Paradise. But for those who move away from His mercy, no one will be able to bring any benefit. And Allah Almighty will open for them the way of eternal Hell. The way of eternal Hell. They are there forever, they say. So there they will cry out: (?), where are you? But there is no more death, it says. Yes.
Allah Almighty has cursed these. These idolaters.
These are cursed peoples. As long as he continues in it. As long as he does not repent and ask forgiveness. Lifetime in this world is a person's greatest treasure. You cannot find a greater treasure than lifetime. Why? The greatest treasure. Your seconds are the greatest treasure. Here in this world you work with hardship. You secure an income that can provide your living and comfort. If within your lifetime you say Allah for one second, when you return from this transient world to the homeland He opened in the hereafter, just as Allah Almighty opens to you the gates of the abode of eternal bliss, there you are reunited with his (?) communities.
So this lifetime is a person's most precious treasure. But only if he can know it, if he can make good use of it. This world will pass anyway. Even if this dominion were yours, even if all people were at your command, one day the decree of the Truth will come to pass. Allah Almighty, in the verse: the heavens and the earth and what is between the two — their inheritance belongs to Allah. Because Allah is the Creator. He is the Lord. That is, the Creator. Or do you own us from your world? If it had been so, it says, you would not have been given anything from your world. That is, are you able to create us in the world?
God forbid. If, it says, you could also create us, it says, if you could bring into being from nothing, I, it says, would take what I created. You would then be in a position to meet your own needs. And I, it says, would give you nothing, it says. So even the clothes you wear, even this body you appear in — even your body is our Lord's giving to man as a blessing. In this case, everything belongs to our Lord. So if you are deceived by this world's (?) state, if it looks rosy to you and drags you into the swamp — if you go into that swamp knowingly, if you go knowingly, with your mind fully aware, into the swamp, then according to the verse 'what you earn is the return of your own two hands', in the hereafter you will have submitted to your sins that will confront you.
You will have wronged your own self. So we will both work, enduring the hardships and torments of this world, and also see to building up our hereafter. Because Allah Almighty created us in the garment of a body with a responsibility too. So that we provide in the best way for the family and children He gave us and those around us, and so that we teach them the religion of Islam and can be the best example to them, He left us under responsibility, by our pronouncing the testimony of faith. In this case, if we grasp this responsibility of ours and work both for this world and the next, we build up our hereafter, just as we build up this world.
Yes. But people, we see, like a clog-maker's adze, always cut toward themselves, like a clog-maker's adze. It's as if he will drive a stake into the world forever and never part from the world's wealth, so to speak. And Satan gives him (?). He frightens him with poverty and drives him to stinginess. His nafs too sides very nicely with Satan, and you see that this person, with the desires of the nafs, has become greedy. He has become capricious. He has become such a person. Yet if he held on to Allah Almighty's verses, he would find peace. Both in this world and in the next. If people know that there is no god but Allah, know that He guarantees the provision of the servants He created, and within that provision a person takes his step as a precaution for his provision, then the decree comes to pass.
Precaution, man will take; the decree will (?) from Allah. In this case man will submit to Allah. But we see that Allah is forgotten; always within the desires of the nafs, in order to sustain the existence of our own ego, we keep on striving. In the end we end up in a fiasco. Like what? Look, what does Allah Almighty say in the verse? Death is real, inheritance is lawful. So if you gather without caring about lawful and unlawful, for the child you have in mind it is lawful. Lawful. But you will be asked about it. Because inheritance is lawful, it says. You will be asked about it. So I do not want to take on anything I cannot give an account for.
In this case, if a person moves away from Allah, he worships insects as his lucky charm, strange shapes people have made, and carries them with him. He says this is my lucky charm, and keeps himself busy with it. He does not even notice that he has fallen into shirk. Even if he notices, it pleases his nafs. The things he carries with him as his lucky charm. So these are slowly heading toward idolatry in this way.
And in this way Allah Almighty curses them.
yes these, it says, have cursed Allah — Allah has cursed these; now they have neither a friend nor a helper. Allah Almighty in this verse of His says: you will find no true helper for them, you will find no true helper. From this it is understood that on that day of reckoning, at the Great Court, there is no being other than the Judge of judges who will help people.
We said a moment ago that there is no god but Allah. Yes. Because on that day judgment belongs to Allah alone. If Allah Almighty is not their helper and leaves them alone, that is, if His mercy passes them by, who can save them from that punishment of Hell? No one.
Today the disposal of the things you own is in your hands. You have the right to dispose of them as you wish.
As the vicegerent of the earth, you also have the right of disposal over Allah's creatures. You are the vicegerent of the earth. If you do this within Allah's commands, you earn reward. If you turn to waste, you earn sin.
So whatever is created, from the atom to the globe, if Allah created it, everything is within Allah Almighty's disposal.
But this Allah is the Owner of justice.
Without doing anyone an atom's weight of injustice, He will give everyone in full what he earned, the return of his two hands. Yes.
Allah Almighty will also give those He loves the right to intercede on that day. When the Great Court is set up. So as not to grieve them and to make them glad, so that they have their relatives pardoned by Allah — it is Allah's mercy to His servants.
Allah Almighty provides very great mercies to people who live within the religion of Islam. He opens doors of mercy. When one goes as a Muslim, except for very great sinners. Except for very great sinners, again when one goes as a Muslim, I say. Perhaps it is very rare for someone from Islam to enter Paradise easily. To Hell. Someone entering Hell is rare too. Because from every family line roughly one saint emerges. If they have the right of intercession for seven up to seventy people, and if he has gone as a Muslim, and if Allah Almighty will let neither sorrow nor stain touch their faces — for these it is our Lord's mercy.
What does it say? Allah Almighty sent down one percent of His mercy to the earth. Ninety-nine percent He reserved for Himself for judging His servants. So within the 99% there are many mercies. Just say Allah. Turn to Allah, and make no concession to anything other than Allah. After that, do not fear. Did he continue his prayer and supplication? Within the noble (?), the Prophet says so. Lie down, get up, say Allah, he says. Go. Lie down, get up, that is, pray. Then fasting, zakat, hajj. Fulfill these. The conditions of Islam — say Allah and pass on, he says.
yes Those who attain this rank of intercession too, it says, even if they are relatives, out of shame before Allah at interceding for Allah's cursed and eternal people of Hell, will move away from them. What does Allah Almighty say to the Prophet (peace be upon him)? My beloved, even if they are your relatives, you cannot make the deaf hear, He says, even if they are your relatives. Yes. So, O man, if we have no helper and intercessor other than Allah, do not turn your face to anyone other than Allah. Obey Allah so that (?) Allah too may be your helper. Say Allah, so that on that day Allah Almighty helps you. Yes.
