Or, are they envious of people because of what Allah has given them of Allah’s bounty? We have given the progeny of Abraham the Book and Wisdom and We have bestowed upon them a great kingdom.
Tafsir
The first meaning of this verse is that people are envious of the wealth and property that Allah has given to some people by His grace. They are jealous of what people have. However, the property belongs to Allah. To those who have a share of the property, Allah grants them as much as He wills. It would have been better for people if they had not been jealous of what Allah has created, but had turned to Allah. Because Allah gives wealth and property, children and well-being for a test. He distributes wealth and property, children and well-being to people according to the burden they have to bear according to their condition. However, people who are envious of these things, who live far from Allah, who value wealth and possessions and attach their love to them, attach themselves to this world instead of the Hereafter, and love Allah's creatures more than Allah.
Another meaning and the meaning of this verse is that some people oppose the Prophets and the Books sent by Allah (swt) to mankind and envy Allah and His Messenger. Those who cannot give up their own superstitious beliefs and their evil deeds and their oppression of people, those who turn their backs on the Books brought by Allah and His Messenger so that they can continue their domination over people, because they do not like Allah's laws that will give life to all people, and those who oppose and envy them.
(But We gave the Book and wisdom to Abraham's progeny and bestowed on them a great sovereignty) He says that if people had obeyed the Prophets and the Scriptures We sent, I would have made them among those who love Allah and bestowed My mercy upon them, just as I bestowed My mercy upon Prophet Abraham.
Allah never discriminates between His creatures. His mercy is for everyone in the universe, but only for the believer in the Hereafter. The reason for this? When human beings come into the world for a test, Allah, who has given them life until a certain time, has undertaken to provide for all their needs. In this respect, Allah (Ar-rizqu a'l Allah) is the provider. If people knew this, would they envy and persecute the Prophets and scholars who call them to Allah? In order for man to manifest his rebellion in his own soul within his will, Allah creates causes for His creatures. By means of these causes, he makes himself a witness to Allah through the actual actions he performs within his own will.
What is said in the video
(?) Surah An-Nisa, verse 54. Or do they envy people for what Allah has given them of His bounty? Now the verse comes. How beautiful. Or do they envy people for what Allah has given them of His bounty ? Yet We gave the family of Abraham the Book and wisdom. And We granted them a great dominion. If Ahsen Nur is listening, this verse — if he has sense, he will be silent. If he has sense, he will not oppose Allah. He will not oppose the verse. I am from the line of Abraham. I say it again. I am in the line of Abraham. From his line. From the line of Abraham.
From the line of Hussein. I am the grandson of Imam Ja'far as-Sadiq. According to this verse, Allah (?) you now.
Look what it says: Yet We gave the family of Abraham the Book and wisdom, it says. To the line of Abraham. If Allah Almighty says in His verse: We gave wisdom to whom We gave knowledge — that is the verse. If this verse supports it too, what are you going to explain to people swimming in ignorance? I say it again: how well Allah Almighty sent an Atatürk, who had these people's heads cut off. If such people had remained — Atatürk saw it, he saw ahead — if such people had remained, since the Muslim, being a believer, would believe the hodjas, would trust them, the war Atatürk had won would have vanished after a short while.
Atatürk senses this, sees it, and removes the heads of those in such ignorance . In this case Atatürk becomes an enemy of religion — he cut off the hodjas' heads. Atatürk is not an enemy of religion; you with documents, clearly: Atatürk would gather hodjas at his home, have the Quran recited and weep; (?) Atatürk's Friday sermon is in the Topkapı Museum our child's here now there is a writing about Atatürk Atatürk — the struggle he entered with the innocent (?) a work explaining how he was killed at its end, isn't it? Yes, what does it say now: the closing of Turkey's society of Freemasons learned at a meeting in Moscow, the Bulgarian Jew from Varna, 33rd-degree Freemason Avram Benoryas, unable to control his nerves, said the following: That yellow leader will certainly be eliminated.
For those who strike a destructive (?) at our aims, the fate is death under terrible conditions, he says. Is it true? Is it documented? It is documented. We called Atatürk an unbeliever, so we became great Muslims. Like this, we called Atatürk an unbeliever and became great Muslims. However the unbeliever instilled it, however he made our forefather look bad to these people, however this homeland to a commander who spent his life on the fronts under hard conditions (?),
if he left this homeland to the people, to secure them a good life, the unbeliever, out of enmity toward him, (?) made you his enemy, calling him an unbeliever. I was in Arabia. I'm talking with an Egyptian boy. He says to me: the Ottomans, he says, were Turks, I mean were Muslims, the Ottomans were Muslims; all the Turks are unbelievers, he says. Look how they've fed this to them about the Turks. All the Turks are unbelievers. Musa, I said, there are Muslims among the Turks. How can you call them unbelievers? He calls the Turk an unbeliever, the Ottoman a Muslim. Well then, I said, I'm a Muslim: Eşhedü en lâ ilâhe illallah ve eşhedü enne Muhammeden abdühü ve resulüh.
Ente münafık, he then said to me. He called me a hypocrite. I started reciting Surah Yasin. He opened his eyes wide and stopped.
Don't fall for the Jew's game, I said. To us they say of you 'filthy Arabs', I said. 'Filthy Arabs' to the Muslims, and to those over there they feed 'unbeliever'. He (?) among the Muslims and doesn't let you unite. This is the game the Jew plays in this world. The game the non-Muslims play. That is how they made your forefather look like your enemy too.
How much longer will you sleep? My heart is burning, my heart. I say: wake up, O Turkey, wake up. Wake up, my brothers, wake up. Wake up. Don't be the toy of the unbeliever, of such ignorant ignoramuses. Don't adopt their ideas, the ideas of superstitions. Turkey is enlightened; let enlightened youth come. Enlightened, progressive, with the verses of Allah.
Yes. Those around you march with giant strides. What will become of you tomorrow?
Today a handful of Israel, with its weapons, (?) you. You, still like a moron, as an ignorant ignoramus, without using your mind, in ignorance, attack both your religion and your forefather — attack. Well done, you've been raised very well, raised very well. Shame on you. You eat this homeland's bread. You live as parasites off this nation's back and you betray this nation. Well done. Wake up, my brother, wake up, my Muslim brother, wake up. Wake up.
Don't follow these ignorant ignoramuses.
Or do they envy people for what Allah has given them of His bounty? Their envy is obvious anyway. Yet We gave the family of Abraham the Book and wisdom and granted them a great dominion. If Allah Almighty has given this dominion as the imam of the time, is it too much for you? What's this: he doesn't know Arabic. There is a hadith on it anyway, a hadith. That imam, it says, will have no Arabic, will have no greed. Nor will he have outward knowledge. Even if he says 'it's me', they won't believe, it says. Even if you don't believe, you are fulfilling the hadith. But do not oppose Allah's verse. Yes.
The first meaning in this verse:
They envy people for the wealth and favour that Allah, by His grace, has given to some people. They are jealous of what is in people's hands. Yet all existence belongs to Allah. To those who get a share of property, Allah grants as much as He wills. If people did not envy those Allah created and turned to Allah, it would be better for them. For Allah gives wealth and property, children and family as a test. He divides this among people according to their situation, as much load as they will bear, in wealth and property and in children and family. But those who envy them, living far from Allah, valuing wealth and property, tying their love to it, clinging to this world instead of the hereafter, love what Allah has created more than Allah.
Another meaning, the one this verse shows, is that the prophets and books that Allah Almighty sent to people are opposed by some people, who thereby envy Allah and His Messenger. Those who do not give up their false beliefs or the evils they have done, their oppression of people — Allah's laws that would give life to all people, since the laws don't please them — so as to keep their domination over people, those who turn their backs on the books brought by Allah and His Messenger oppose them and envy. Isn't that how it goes? Non-Muslims. The Jews. The Prophet didn't come from us. So we don't believe in him, they say.
Yes.
In another meaning: since Allah Almighty will keep His religion clear until the Last Day, since He will not call to account anyone from a generation He has not informed, and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), (?) to the hereafter passed on, though he would make his religion known through the (?) in his place, since superstitions would enter religion, such superstitious people would come out in religion, dispute it, and to people throw truth onto falsehood and falsehood onto truth and the whole place drown in superstitions — because He knew this, our Lord says: We gave Abraham's line a great dominion.
Do you know when Abraham's line will be cut off? (?) Abraham's line will be cut off when the Last Day comes. Because among the people to come until the Last Day there will be some from Abraham's line. Sayyids will come. Sayyids. Imams whom Allah will task will come. Imams. Yes. Surely, if We gave Abraham's line the Book and wisdom and granted them a great dominion, then, had people obeyed the prophets We sent and the books, like the dominion We granted Abraham, I would have placed them among Our servants too and granted them My mercy, He says. My mercy. Yes.
Allah never discriminates among His creatures.
My mercy in the universe is for everyone, He says. Everyone. All these created beings, whether idolater, Magian, religious, or irreligious, whoever they may be, as long as they live in the material world, Allah, never discriminating among His servants, gives everyone their sustenance in proportion to their own wish, that is, in proportion to people's wish. Within their destinies. Did you think you would be given whatever you wish, He says. That is, if it's outside your destiny and you are patient, in the hereafter it will appear before you as an answer. So if Allah Almighty doesn't discriminate among His servants, look what He says in His verse.
We distributed even the earth equally to you, He says. The earth. We distributed it equally.
In the universe His mercy is for everyone; in the hereafter, though, only for the believer.
The reason: since people come to the world for a test, Allah, who grants them life until a set time, has undertaken to meet all their needs. Because according to Surah Al-A'raf, verse 72, Allah Almighty, with people, with those to come from Adam's offspring, made a covenant. He gave them their wishes and desires as their destiny. Within those destinies, whatever people would need, however that person could best prove himself, He granted him characters in that way; in however many breaths he would complete those characters and prove what kind of person he is, in however much time he could prove it, that many breaths became his life span.
So, you thought you would die without proving what kind of person you are, He says. Ask people.
How did Allah Almighty give people their life spans? Why didn't every person live long? Why does every person die at a different age? According to people's wishes and desires, those people, within their destinies, complete their wishes and desires within that many breaths and at the end of that life pass on to the hereafter. That's why this one's (?) was this much, this one lived this long: it was that person's own wish. Allah did not will: you will live this much, you will live this much. If our Lord had willed it, He would be blamed: those who die at 20, at 30, at 40 — had You let me live 90 years too, had You let me live 100 years, 80 years, maybe I too would have turned back, they'd say, and He would be blamed. But if a person's own wish and desire became his destiny, if within those destinies, within the characters, the person's traits were there, they in this world, within those characters, feel wish and desire, and Allah Almighty constantly creates.
And as the constant Creator, creating at every moment, the whole universe, with wish and desire, comes alive through what He creates. And with their deeds they prove it to themselves. They prove what kind of people they are.
Their book does not write these things.
The books they read don't write these either.
Yes.
In this respect, Allah er rızkı talallah. He is the giver of sustenance. Had people known this, the prophets and scholars calling them to Allah they would not envy and oppress.
So that a person, within his own partial will, can bring out the rebellion in his own nafs, Allah creates causes for His creatures. And he, with these causes (?), within his own will, through the deeds he has done, makes himself a witness before Allah. Like here. We explain the verses. (?) into rebellion. Everyone proves themselves so well. Yes.
