An-Nisa 46: A group from the Jews distorts the words from their context and by twisting their tongues and by attacking the religion, they say, “we heard and we disobeyed,” they say “listen, but may you not hear,” and “Raina.” If they had said “we heard and we obeyed, and look after us,” this surely would have been better and more truthful for them. But because of their denial, Allah has cursed them. Only a few of them will believe.

A group from the Jews distorts the words from their context and by twisting their tongues and by attacking the religion, they say, “we heard and we disobeyed,” they say “listen, but may you not hear,” and “Raina.” If they had said “we heard and we obeyed, and look after us,” this surely would have been better and more truthful for them. Tafsir
The Jews disbelieved the Prophet and opposed the Prophet and the religion of Islam by bowing their mouths and tongues against the Prophet, saying, "We have heard and we have opposed, you tell us as much as you want, we will not tell you," and they opposed the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with word games, hiding their enmity against the religion of Islam in a sarcastic way, and by using the word râinâ to mean shepherd, saying, "You be our shepherd, we will do what we know, we will not listen," and they opposed the Prophet.
Râinâ means watch over us and protect us. By prolonging the month, these people rebelled by addressing the Prophet in the way it is written above. They also changed the description of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the Torah, denying the Prophethood of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and at the same time making the generations that came after him deny the Prophethood of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) by saying that this is what is written in the Torah.
This is already emphasized in their covenant. What a person is at seven, he is at seventy. Whatever his covenant was in the first world, that is his state and condition in this world. Their rebellion and denial of Allah and His Messenger will not bring any deficiency or harm to Allah and His Messenger. Because Allah, Who created the worlds according to a program, knows where and when everyone will do what they will do. He creates events accordingly and keeps this programmed universe in this way until the end. In this respect, Allah, in one of His Verses, informs people of His Verses by saying, "Did they think that they could extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths?" He informs them that everyone will make themselves witnesses to Allah by living in the realm of property according to their own nature. Accordingly, in one of His verses, He says, "Did you think that you would die without proving what kind of people you are?
It would have been better for them if they had said, 'We hear, we obey, listen to us and watch over us,' and they would have received Allah's mercy.
But because of their disbelief and refusal to accept the truth, Allah cursed them. The Jewish people have fallen away from the mercy of Allah (swt) with their rebellion and have fallen under His curse. In this respect, the Jews are a cursed people on earth and a mischief on earth.
For this reason, the Qur'an says that only a few believe.
What is said in the video
Surah An-Nisa, verse 46: Some of the Jews change words from their places. That is, although in the Gospel, the Torah and the Psalms the attributes of the Prophet were written, they covered up those attributes. They changed the places of the words. Also, because he did not come from among them, out of their envy they became unwilling to listen to the command of Allah Almighty.
Twisting their tongues and attacking the religion, against the truth, they always twist and bend their tongues and attack the truth.
Against the Prophet: we heard and we disobeyed. That is, you told us, we heard. They make themselves witnesses against themselves. By saying 'we heard'.
And we disobeyed. How nicely they prove themselves too. If you are a prophet from your Lord, you (?) us. But we are not listening to you. Sir, listen. May you not hear. They say 'Ra'ina'. Ra'ina. That is, in the sense of 'watch over us, protect us'. Ra'ina. If you stretch this 'Ra'ina' and say 'Ra'ina', the words, if you stretch it as 'Ra'ina', it becomes 'our shepherd'. That is, as an insult (?) they attack the Prophet with words.
If they had said: we heard, we obeyed, listen and watch over us, and here Allah Almighty shows them the most beautiful way: if they had said this, that is, we heard, we listened, sir, watch over us, it would surely have been better and more upright for them. But, but because of their kufr, their not accepting the truth, because of their kufr, what is their kufr? their not accepting the truth, because of that Allah has cursed them. They are a cursed people. That is, they brought the curse upon themselves. So only a few of them believe. Very few.
So, in the Holy Quran, whatever Allah Almighty sent in the Torah, the Psalms and the Gospel exists in its original in the Holy Quran. For example, what was that in the Torah? Sir, in Surah Al-Baqarah, 81-82 or 82-83, it is in those verses, I think. Let us take a look here.
Sir.
In verses 83 and 84 it says exactly this. Allah Almighty: We (?) the Children of Israel as follows. Do not worship anything but Allah. One. To mother, father, relatives. What did it make? Mother, father, relatives. That makes four. Do good to orphans and the poor. Five. Speak kindly to people. Six. (?) perform the prayer. Seven. Give the zakat. Eight. Then, except for a few of you, you turned away, and you keep turning back from what you said, He says. Both are within verse eighty-four. We had told you this: Do not shed each other's blood. Do not drive each other out of your homes; we said this in the Torah, He says.
What did it make? The Ten Commandments. They exist in their original in the Holy Quran.
Now, since it has come up, let us say it. This is exactly the place. People for whom it is inconvenient, as our child Ayşe said, what do they say? It was put in as content. That is, these are the same, that is, the content was not changed, words like that said to fob it off. Why words said to fob it off? It does not suit them. Because it does not suit them, they twist and bend when they speak. One should be suspicious of the Islam of people who speak like this, that is, of their faith. Because look what Allah Almighty says in the verse: whatever We said in the beginning, it is the same as in the beginning, He says.
And in the end it is the same. That Allah does not twist words when He speaks. Look what He says. He writes the same in the Holy Quran. In that case the original is in the Holy Quran. What the Torah, the Psalms and the Gospel told them, in their original form these are in the Holy Quran.
So people whose faith is weak or who serve dark aims, for their own selfish interests, even if they know the truth, turn their backs on the truth and judge by falsehood; these people, although they know the truth, try in this way to distort the verses of the Quran.
They prefer this worldly realm to the hereafter. The worldly realm. Yet this worldly realm is a traveller.
A traveller, that is, like the state of a person who has set out on a journey, like that. Where he will arrive at the end of the journey is certain. So in the worldly realm too we are on a journey. Where we will arrive is the place where He says: every soul will taste death, and in the end your return is to Me. Yes. In this case, look, our child Ayşe has written a message straight away: Peace be upon you, Hodja. There are said to be other verses in the Torah, the Psalms and the Gospel too, but not all of them are in the Quran, I heard. Only some of them are there, I heard. But as far as I understand, all of them are in the Quran.
Could you enlighten us? May Allah be pleased with you, she says. Now these people ascribe attributes to Allah Almighty too, according to their own minds. They deny the verse. Which verse? Look what it says. With Us there is a Book, they are preserved in the Preserved Tablet, and after that neither an addition nor a deficiency is made. They go as far as denying this verse. The Prophet says in his hadith: whatever there is, wet or dry, is in the Quran. They go as far as denying this hadith.
Yes.
Why do they say it? It really makes one laugh at people living in such ignorance, at such people. Why do they say that some of what is written in the Torah, the Psalms and the Gospel is not in the Quran? Because they wrote books according to their own minds. For a few pennies to the Jews they changed the verses. Those changed verses, the words written within people's own ideologies, because they attributed them to Allah, they are not in the Quran. Allah puts His own Word into the Holy Quran. Not man's fabrication. Now in this case their fabrications come to light. Their fabrications. Now when a person looks in the mirror he sees himself.
Himself. A mirror never reflects someone else's image. The Quran is a mirror too. When they hold their books up to the Quran, what is not in the Quran will (?) as human fabrication. (?) this. Isn't it so? It is. They even inserted a (?) into the Gospel, Hodja. Yes. They are right. Because it is to make people swallow their own fabrications. As if they had an extra religion. Their own religions, that is, if we listen to their ideologies we fall into sin. To make people accept their own ideologies. In this way. Look, we have it, Allah told us so, but yours does not have it. Or ours is broader and more detailed.
With words like 'yours, this Quran, does not have it', so that they adopt their own ideologies, they make them accept it, and people within these ideologies turn to kufr.
Innad-dina 'indallahil-Islam. There is no religion other than Islam. And there is no word more valid than the Word of Allah.
Let people beat their drums as much as they like. Before us there is the Quran, plus the hadith, the hadiths. These are the words, sir, that light our way. Some words in the verses of Allah Almighty that people could not understand, the Prophet explained to us with his hadiths. That is, he explained them in a way we can understand. These light the way before us. Everything apart from this, everything apart from this, is fabrication, nonsense. And this is (?). Yes, (?). So in the same way these people, twisting and bending their mouths, said to the Prophet 'Ra'ina', that is, instead of 'we heard, watch over us', with words like 'be our shepherd' they mocked the Prophet.
The meaning in 'Ra'ina' is 'watch over us, protect us'. In the sense of 'protect'. They, by stretching the 'ayn' in the way it is written above, addressing the Prophet they (?). That is, they stretch the 'ayn'. Yes.
At the same time, by changing the description of the Prophet Muhammad in the Torah, they denied the prophethood of the Prophet. Now we come to the words our child Ayşe said. What does she say? There is more, she says. Those are not in the Quran either. These are the things that are not in the Quran.
What we are saying. What are they? At the same time, by changing the description of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in the Torah, they denied the prophethood of the Prophet. And by telling the generations that came after them 'it is written so in the Torah', they told them to deny the Prophet. To those who came after, too. Of course, since everyone will live their own destiny, those who came after also did what they said. Because Allah Almighty says there are also those among them who are Muslims. There are also those who accept the truth, He says.
In fact these states of theirs were stressed in their covenant. That is, before people came into the world, in the realm of Lahut, when our Lord created us, when He created our spirits,
when He said 'I am your Lord', when He said 'I am your Lord', the people there being divided into three, and finally, one by one, making a covenant with Allah Almighty; as a result of this covenant, people's wishes and desires, their wills, being written for them as destiny; and accordingly all the worlds being programmed, and since the verses support one another, according to the verse where He says there is not a single living being to come until the Day of Judgement of which We do not know what it will not do, He says, according to that verse, He engraved people's wishes, desires and wills into them as characters.
So when those people come into the world, wishes and desires appear in proportion to those characters. According to those wishes and desires Allah Almighty creates the means. And when people carry them out with their actual deeds, that deed, when they carry out their wishes and desires with actual deeds, these earn reward and sin and they prove what kind of people they are. And accordingly there is the hadith of the Prophet. While a child is in its mother's womb, whether it is wretched or God-fearing is known, he says. Known by what? Known according to verse 172 of Surah Al-A'raf. With Allah Almighty nothing is lost.
For this word I said, take a verse too. The keys of the unseen are in Allah's hand, He says. yes, (?) this world, Allah the Creator has programmed all of it, within this program this world will run; even if mankind and jinn gathered, they could neither extinguish Allah's religion until the Day of Judgement nor do any harm to Allah. Yes, in fact these states of theirs were stressed in their covenant. What a person is at seven, he is the same at seventy. Whatever his covenant was in the first barzakh, his state and condition in this world is the same. Whatever his covenant was. Their rebellion, their denial of Allah and His Messenger, brings no deficiency to Allah and His Messenger.
So those who attack the ones who tell the truth, who, to make people love Allah and His Messenger, (?) the verses of Allah, who tell them to people properly, cannot bring that person any harm. Only a person himself does harm to himself. A person can only bring himself harm or benefit. With what? With the deeds he does, with his responsibility towards Allah Almighty. Apart from this, people's attacks on those who tell the truth never harm that person. Perhaps they even raise that person in the sight of Allah. yes Whatever his covenant was in the first barzakh, his state and condition in this world is the same; their rebellion, their denial of Allah and His Messenger brings no deficiency to Allah and His Messenger and can do no harm either; Allah Almighty in His verse: even if mankind and jinn gathered, they could not harm Allah.
Every soul will taste death, and finally in the presence of Allah Almighty, at the Great Court, all souls will be gathered.
You know those who say there is the bridge of Sirat: Allah Almighty is not unjust, that before gathering them in His presence He would torment and torture them, and then gather them in His presence, and after that, those destined for Paradise into Paradise, let me say, would let them attain it. What is it? Some say this: next to bitterness, sweetness too will become known. Sweetness: a good person will know bitterness so that he knows sweetness is sweet. That is, interpretations, interpretations. There is no verse for it. There is no verse. If they knew the verse, what does it say? Allah Almighty: today everyone, we are saying it with verses, today everyone will be given in full what their own two hands earned, He says.
Today no one will be wronged in the least. What does this mean? People gathered at the Great Court. Today no one will be wronged in the least. Everyone will be given in full what they earned, as the return of their own two hands, when He says this. Where is the bridge of Sirat here? Where is the crossing over Hell here? Where is suffering punishment and then coming into the presence of Allah Almighty? So many superstitions have settled in us, and then we have called this religious belief. No, these are religious superstitions. If we get rid of these superstitions, we will know Allah better within the truths.
We will try to surrender to Allah better. That is why, when a person interprets something away, the breach grows. Through that breach he goes all the way to kufr. No word that has no counterpart in a verse has any validity in the religion. If it is not the counterpart of a verse. In that case, if people can show a verse that there is a bridge of Sirat, if they can show a verse that there is a bridge of Sirat, we will declare that all the words we have told until now are wrong. If they can find a single verse. What Ahmet or Mehmet say does not concern us at all. What Ahmet or Mehmet say. That others write books does not concern us at all either.
The reason: before me is the Book of Allah. If a person had respect for Allah, he would have respect for the verses. For the verses, because the verses are the Word of Allah. Before the verses a person falls silent. Saying 'it is like this in Ahmet's book, in Mehmet's book', if a person holds Ahmet's and Mehmet's book above the verse of Allah, this is ignorance itself, superstition itself.
He has no respect for Allah, nor for the verses, nor for the Prophet. These are people swimming in ignorance. But once they have said it, and people in certain places, bowing their heads, breaking their nafs, when they cannot explain these things to those around them, they start casting shadows over the truth with superstitions. They only expose their own shame. Yes.
Because Allah, who created the worlds within a program, knows where and when everyone will do what. He knows where, when and in what way they will do it. One proof of this is that, according to our covenant there, at whatever time a person is to come, and to which person, which person, which person He gives, so that with that person, the person He gives, they are tested with each other in the world in the best way and prove what kind of people they are; did you think you would die without proving it? according to that verse. Without anything missing, the spirit is taken from that barzakh; whether from the barzakh it is female or male, Allah knows that too; that is also the verse where He says Allah knows what is in the wombs.
But if you ask people, what is in the mother's womb, today technology knows that. For example, fresh water and salt water are together and do not mix. Open the tafsirs; in some of them it says there are two lakes on Karacadağ, one is fresh and the other is salty, they do not mix. But what Allah Almighty made known in the Strait of Gibraltar with Captain (?), sir, let me say it: fresh and salt water together, not mixing with each other. One side fresh, one side salty. The seas, the seas He let loose upon each other, sir, within those seas He shows us with miracles an event that no being, no created thing could do, for which their knowledge would not suffice.
In every age a miracle appears like this. His verses, His miracles. Otherwise, at the side of a mountain or on a plain, two lakes were found, one fresh and one salty; that can be.
Lakes with water flowing in and out, that is, with a stream coming in and a stream going out of the lake, are fresh water. Sir, those with an inflow but no outflow are bitter water. Bitter water. Yes. That is why the people of this time, I mean the people of that time, cannot shed light on the science and knowledge of this time. They stayed in the past. So the religion is not a religion of superstition. The religion is oriented to the future, enlightened, forward-stepping, turned towards technology, a religion equipped in the best way with knowledge, with knowledge. Everything outside knowledge is false.
But see how people have been taken in by superstitions as knowledge, and, taking those superstitions for knowledge, they harm the religion and harm those around them. Yes. Accordingly, by making these events appear, He keeps this universe, which has been programmed, going like this until the end. That is, Allah Almighty will keep this universe, the worlds, going until the end in the way He programmed it. In this respect, in a verse Allah says: did they think they would extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths? By making this verse known to people, He announces that everyone, according to their own nature, living in the material world, will make themselves witnesses before Allah; this is what He announces.
And since He will not send another prophet, Allah Almighty sends scholars. You know some people say: before us there are the Quran and the Prophet. Apart from that, why should we follow a scholar? You will follow the Quran. Of course you will follow the Prophet, and if you could understand that Quran fully, there would be no need for anyone. Then there would be no need for a scholar either. So there is a need for scholars; look what Allah Almighty says in the verse. Listen well. You who say there is no need for a scholar. Listen well. The passing of your scholars to the hereafter is like the sun going and darkness coming, He says.
(?) this. The knowledge of the Quran, and if you deny the people equipped with this knowledge, these scholars, you oppose this verse and so you go to kufr. Do you know more than Allah, that you say there is no need for a scholar, I judge by the Quran? Of course you will judge by the Quran, and what you do not know you will ask a scholar. So you deny the hadith on this too. What does it say in the hadith? The scholars are my heirs, says the Prophet (peace be upon him). Yes. Do not speak at random. Do not speak without knowing. Do not make yourselves witnesses to bad talk before those around you, before yourselves and before Allah.
If you do not know, be silent. If speech is silver, silence is gold. If you know, speak and teach. If you know, be a teacher. If you do not know, be silent; be either a student or a listener. That is what a human being is. That is a human being. Yes.
What are we saying now? Accordingly, that is, with the deeds we will do when we come to these worlds, in a verse He says: did you think you would die without proving what kind of person you are? So every person will come to this world and prove how he is. He will oppose the prophet Allah Almighty sent, he will oppose the scholars Allah sent as His appointed ones, he will try to spread superstitions over the truth; everyone will live his own idea, his ideology, and prove what kind of person he is. Yes, surely there will be kufr against the truth too, so that by kufr the truth is set apart and they are known by each other, or through kufr's attack on the truth and the truth coming out more beautifully, people think and, with their reason, find the truth.
Because reason was created in a state of knowing its Lord. So, as I always say, I have one piece of advice for all people. Do not be a satellite of anyone's mind. Of anyone's, no matter who tells what. Even if a prophet tells it.
Because the words of those prophets lead to the truth, we embrace those prophets and love them more than our mother, our father, our own life. Because they lead to the truth, because they lead us to our Owner, because they lead us to our Lord. So towards those who tell the verses and hadiths, who lead you to Allah and His Messenger, do not fail in respect either. (?) their words. These (?), with these (?), those people's speech, separate it, compare it. Do not be their satellite either. Do not be a satellite of those who tell it either. If he tells what is right, if he tells the truth, if he tells you the verse, that is enough for you. Why did you come to this world?
To know your Lord and to make yourself a witness before Allah Almighty in the best way you came. So this person who is your helper, if this person shows you the truth, you will judge by it. Otherwise you become like a merchant who has made a loss. Yes.
If they had said: we heard, we obeyed, we obeyed, listen to us and watch over us, these Jews, it would have been better for them, and in this way they would have attained Allah's mercy. Yes, of course it would have been better for them.
But because of their kufr, their not accepting the truth, Allah has cursed them. By their own kufr. And they are the fitna of the earth and a cursed people. In this case, except for a few of them, except for very few.
Wherever they are, they drown that place in corruption like a wolf, and set people against each other, put their own interests first, and who say: even if they had a lifetime, instead of a thousand years, another thousand years, live on; do not be deceived by the state of such people.
But because of their kufr, their not accepting the truth, Allah has cursed them. So the Jewish people, through their rebellion, moved away from the mercy of Allah Almighty and fell under His curse. In this respect the Jews are a cursed people on earth and the fitna of the earth.
With the verse where He says 'only a few of them believe', Allah, who is free of any deficient attribute, puts a Muslim spirit into their (?), and that Muslim, when he grows up, finding the truth among the Jews is an example for them. In this respect, in the verse He says only a few believe. Yes.
Because Abraham too, from his father, from a polytheist people, when he told his father the truth, his father tried to harm him, and he says: peace be upon you. When he says 'I will pray to Allah for you', Allah Almighty says: O Abraham, do not be one of the ignorant. He was not of you. Look, those Muslims among the Jews are not of these Jews either. He brings a Muslim spirit and puts it into the loins of that Jew, puts it, and against that cursed people: look, did you see, these too were Muslims, these too were among you, He says, and makes him a witness against them. Yes.
